While dodging all the attacks that were thrown at him, Lucius was laughing crazily in his heart. He had never expected to find the daughter of the Otrefiona Emperor here out of nowhere. His goddess of luck was definitely smiling at him currently.

Lucius was also a member of the Chaos Order and he was a subordinate of Mad Sage Merlick. Mad Sage Merlick was a also a level 9000 plus powerhouse and held the same position as the Otrefiona Emperor in the Order. Not only that but both of them also had enmity with one another.

So if Lucius could catch the daughter of his enemy and give her to him then the mad Sage was definitely going to reward him very generously. There was a potion called the "Sage's Miracle" that Merlick was able to produce and Lucius really wanted to get his hands on this potion no matter what.

As for how confident he was about catching this princess girl, the answer to that was very much. Lucius himself was above level 7500 and his skills were a very good counter to pure warrior types. From what he remembered, this imperial lady named Azusa had reached the level of 7000 only a few thousands of years ago which was not a very long time.

So currently she was at most in level 7100 or so. And he was sure about hearing from his master that this girl was mostly a pure warrior. That was the reason why he was feeling very confident with his chances.

The only matters that still made him worried were about any trump cards that her father might have left on her and the other companion that she had with her in the restaurant. That person was most probably a secret guard who was sent by her father to guard her. With this in mind, Lucius never let his guard down.

Lucius was from a race called Qichonya. This race was born with a special ability called "Six Eyes" and had incredibly powerful senses. But Lucius had learnt of a legend of his race. The final form of their eyes was not six eyes but seven. As for how to access this form, no one knew.

Lucius was the first person who had managed to get access to the "Seven Eyes" and he was also the last. The way he had managed to activate it was by slaughtering and then absorbing the souls of at least 90 percent of the population of his face. As far as Lucius was aware of, he was currently the last living member of the Qichonya race.

With his seven eyes, Lucius was capable to seeing through the future. This ability directly came with a high degree of the mastary of the temporal concept. So no matter how Azusa attacked, Lucius was able to see through everything and dodge them without much trouble.

But still, what Lucius found incredible and troublesome was the fact that even though he was dominating the battle continuosly, he still was unable to land any solid hits on Azusa. But still, he was confident in his own resourcefulness and was hoping that as the match become longer and longer, his advantage would also become bigger and bigger.

While this battle was going on, Elena finished her meal and left the restaurant. Azusa had already paid for the food but Elena ordered some extra portion and asked the restaurant to pack it up. Their dinner together was interrupted so Elena was planning to have another little dinner together in their inn room.

After leaving the restaurant, Elena disappeared from the city and appeared just a few kilometres away from where the battle was taking place. Before coming here, Elena had activated almost all of hers stealth skills and had even used Dimensional, Destiny and Temporal magic that could hide her existence. So even with his extremely strong senses, Lucius did not notice Elena's presence at all.

Elena was not planning to interfere with the fight for the time being. She was very confident in Azusa's abilities. Even though it looked like Azusa was on a backfoot, Elena trusted that Azusa would soon turn it around. There was a reason why Elena was comfortable with leaving her back to Azusa even when she was facing off against an opponent who was truly capable of killing her.

Just as Elena had expected, Azusa soon made her move. After an attack of Lucius scored a direct hit on her, she suddenly hugged his body and a purple gas appeared all around her.

Lucius tried to push Azusa away but to his horror, he realised that he was weaker compared to Azusa in terms of base STR stats. And the purple gas that had appeared, it was corroding his armour and weapons.

Elena felt nostalgic after seeing the gas. It looked like Azusa had managed to learn this ability from that powerful serpent. That meant her research was very much a success.

Then as Lucius had lost his armour, a dragon suddenly appeared in the sky. It was Azusa's summon and also her mount. Immediately after coming out, the dragon launched a powerful breath attack toward Lucius and it also hit Azusa who was currently holding Lucius.

But her armour was able to block the breath attack perfectly. On the other hand, as Lucius did not have his Armour, he took a direct hit from it. But Lucius was a level 7500 plus powerhouse. A single dragon breath was not enough to kill him.

But the objective of this dragon's breath was not to kill him. Azusa's dragon had a special breath whose destructive power to a bit limited but it could produce a lot of debudfs after directly hitting an enemy. Putting those debuffs on Lucius was Azusa's true objective.

So immediately after the debuff, Azusa activated her genesis grade spear and performed a powerful spear art, "Yin-Yang Desolation". With a bright white and black light destroying his body, Lucius disintegrated into thin air. But still, Azusa did not relax and was ready for a second battle.

For super high level individuals, dying once or twice was not a big deal. Almost all the powerhouse above the level of 5000 have not one but several resurrection methods prepared. Lucius was also no different in this matter. So for battles of this level, just killing someone was not enough. One needed to make sure that the killing move was exhausting more than one resurrection chances.

The Yin-Yang Desolation was a move that normally could destroy 5 resurrection chances. But as Azusa had performed it with her powerful genesis grade item, it should manage to destroy a total of 10 chances while Lucius should have only 9 of them.

But still, with a powerful time fluctuation and blue light, Lucius again appeared in the battlefield. It looked like this time related resurrection method was strong enough to withstand her Yin-Yang Desolation.

As Azusa for ready to fight again, Lucius did not waste any time and teleported away. Currently he had only one life left. Dying next would be his real true death. So he was unwilling to risk it anymore and had decided to run away. Lucius had several poweful skills useful for running away and he actived all of them at the same time in order to make a safe escape.

Seeing this, Azusa immediately chased after him. She obviously did not want him to get away and she wanted to kill him right there. So she also activated a special art called "Sun Chasing Lance".

So would Azusa be able to catch Lucius with this ?
