The thing Elena taught Cherry first was mana manipulation. This was a fundamental skill for all mages and being good at it was beneficial in every stage of learning magic. It was important even for the advanced mages.

The way Cherry was going to practice her mana manipulation was by using a special spell created by Elena for this exact matter. Elena had modified this spell a little to suit the rules of this world.

The name of this spell was "Phantasy Canvas". With this spell, one was able to create magical ink to paint various things in the air. This spell required very little amount of mana so it was perfect spell that could be used continuously for a long period of time.

Alongside its longevity, maintaining various different colours and shapes drawn with this colourful ink needed extreme precision. That was also why this was a perfect spell for someone who wanted to improve their mana manipulation.

But that was not all. There were advanced version of this spell which were useful in battle of the high levels. So learning and practicing this spell would never be a waste. So for the time being, Cherry's next task was to practice this spell again and again, untill she could reach a certain degree of proficiency in mana manipulation.

After teaching Cherry this spell, Elena again focused on Azusa and asked her about how her test with the Bloodbound Curse went. In reply, Elena got an energetic reply that she had managed to get rid of an annoying insect that was bothering her for a long time.

Elena was happy to see that Azusa was satisfied with both of the lesser concepts that she had managed to learn, but their smooth progress would end here. That was because all the remaining lesser concepts were not really very well suited for Azusa.

So for the rest of the night, Elena decided that she needed to hone Azusa character and experience a bit more first. Normally, the best way to do that would be by putting her in a dream and making her to face hardships. But that process was ineffective on Azusa.

As Azusa was a high level individual, without completely losing all her memories, she would never really take any threats from her dreams too seriously. So dream training method only worked properly on lower level people.

That was because the low level people would be unable to distinguish between dream and reality against a higher level being like Elena. But as the level difference between Azusa and Elena was not that high, she was unable to create that same exact effect on her. Elena was sure that if she was level 9000 plus, even Azusa would not be able to distinguish between dream and reality against her but unfortunately that was not the case.

So what Elena was planning was an real fun life and death adventure. The stage for this grand adventure would be Elena's own mini world. Elena's clones were already done with the design of the area where this test would be taking place. Elena had made a lot of preparations for it.

As this place was here for Azusa to increase her emotional experience, the tests here were not consisting of only battles. Azusa already had an overwhelming amount of knowledge in that field as her combat experience was not lacking at all. So to clear most of the trials, Azusa had to use her brains.

Azusa was very excited about this and she immediately went inside Elena's mini world. The area that Elena had prepared for her was filled with only extremely strong level 7000 plus monsters, so even though this place was not designed with combat as the main focus, the fights here would not be easy.

After Azusa disappeared from the inn room, she appeared in the middle of a forest. There was a beautiful lake beside her. Elena had told her that one month in this world was equivalent to one hour in the outside world. So currently Azusa had a total of 5 months to complete the trial here.

As for what she needed to do in this world, it was quite simple. Elena had designed this place in the likeness of a game. So Azusa needed to hundred percent clear this game if she wanted to finish this trial perfectly.

There were several missions scattered throughout this world and Azusa would stumbled upon them just by walking around. So she started doing exactly that.

As she was walking through the forest toward a small village that she had detected with her skills, suddenly the scene of bloody and dead bears appeared before her. There was also two small bear cubs who were crying beside the dead large bear. It looked like the two dead bears were their parents.

As Azusa was about to ignore this and continue walking, a message popped up before her. It said -

[Quest Detected : "Revenge for the Bear family".]

[Will you accept the Quest ? Yes / No]

Seeing this Azusa immediately understood what kind of quest it was going to be. As she was planning to hundred percent clear this trial, she immediately decided to accept it.

Azusa had thought that after accepting the quest, she would be getting new information about the quest target but that was not the case. She was only given more details about what she needed to do. It was exactly what Azusa had expected. She needed to find and kill whatever had killed the two bears.

To advance in this quest, first Azusa needed to find out about who the killer of the bears were. To find that, Azusa decided to use the most straightforward method. She went to the crying cubs and started to search their mind. As the cubs were not really strong, they were unable to defend against it at all.

Azusa made sure to not harm the bear cubs in any way. Even though she did not feel any sympathy for them, she was not cruel enough to harm them for no reason. So after getting the information that she needed from them, Azusa left them be and even provided then with some food as a little show of her kindness.

Then she started running toward the eastern side of the forest and soon came before a large tree. A large white snake was coiling around the large tree as if it was a vine. This snake was a powerful level 7777 monster called the "Red Eyed White Scaled Viper". And this monster would serve as the first opponent for Azusa in this trial.
