While trying to battles the haze in her mind, Azusa started to use various different skills of hers which looked to be useful in a situation like this. She tried various skills like "Steel Will", "Serene Mind" and such. But probably because they were all low level skills, the effect was not very useful.

After trying out several skills, one of them stood out very much. That skill was "Heart of Valor". As soon as she activated this skill, the haze in her mind started to disappear.

But the speed of it happening was very slow and it might need a long time for the haze to completely disappear. That was why Azusa immediately started to research a new skill based on the Heart of Valor. This new skill had to be stronger than the source.

This was not an easy thing to do but Azusa was not known as a monstrous genius for no reason. Even if she was not as broken as Elena, her own talent and abilities were top notch in the universe.

Soon, Azusa managed to develop something useful for her current situation. Actually she was having a hard time following the exact diagram of the Heart of Valor skill, so she changed her approached a little. Instead of a direct resistance skill, she used her immense talent as a spear master to create a spear form that could imitate the effect of the Heart of Valor. That was how the Spear Technique: "Valor of the Brave" was created.

After that, Azusa used that skill to directly attack the haze in her mind. Soon, it started to clear and her suppressed memories started to come back. After successfully mediating between the two beasts, she was suddenly invited by them to visit a hidden treasure spot. It was their way of saying thanks to her.

But as soon as she had stepped foot inside the treasure spot, a group of dark clad swordman had attacked the her. They were not extremely strong, so with some effort, she did manage to defeat them eventually. But then she had felt a hand on her shoulder and immediately her mind had fainted.

Then she had woken up in this world of dreams where all her quests were completed in no time. This whole dream world was here to trap her for eternity. Azusa had no idea what was behind this mental attack but it was without a doubt extremely strong.

As Azusa managed to get rid of all the haze in her mind, the world of dreams around her shattered like a glass. Immediately she opened her eyes in the real world and wake up from sleep.

Even though her instincts were telling her that this was the real world, Azusa was still extremely cautious. She had no idea if this was truly the real mini world of Elena or it was again a very elaborate dream world.

She looked around her and found the scene of a ruined shrine. Immediately after that she noticed the figure of a pure white statue standing with a gentle smile on its face. A dark mist was seen on the hands of the statue.

Immediately, Azusa jumped up and created some distance between her and the statue. But even after seeing this, the statue did not do anything and continued to stand still on its position with the same gentle smile.

Azusa immediately summoned her dragon partner and used the spear technique "Valor of the Brave" that she had developed just some time ago. Then she attacked the statue without a second of waste.

The face of the statue was blurred, so Azusa was not sure if this was the idol she was looking for or not. But she was sure that the reason of her fainting was this same statue. The dark mist in its hands had the same presence as the haze in her head.

As she attacked the statue, the same dark clad swordmen from before appeared again and started fighting her. Not only that but the statue also started to create spears of darkness and threw them toward Azusa.

Her dragon was only able to keep four of the dark clad swordmen busy. The rest attacked Azusa. The spears were only targetting her, so she had to be extremely cautious.

But the spear not attacking the dragon was a good thing. They were extremely fast so her dragon would have a hard time dodging them. And after making a direct contact, the spear of darkness would inflict various negetive statuses and corrosion. So the dragon would not have been able to withstand more than five of those spear strikes.

The smiling blurry face of the statue did not change at all as the battle continued. It also did not make any other moves. So with enough time, Azusa started to understand the pattern and rhythm of the battle and got the upper hand.

Just as she was starting to feel a bit comfortable, suddenly the statue changed its behaviour for the first time. It now started to attack the dragon too. This was a simple change but now that Azusa also needed to protect the dragon, her battle became much tougher.

This did not happen just once or twice. As soon as Azusa started to get comfortable with the current battle pressure, the statue would change its moves and would make the battle just slightly harder. This difficulty adjustment happened again and again so soon it became clear that this battle was like a tutorial for Azusa.

After almost three days, this battle finally came to an end. Azusa had been fighting continuously under high pressure for this whole time, so she was definitely extremely tired. Just as she had gotten used to killing one of the dark clad swordmen with a single attack while withstanding continuous mental and debuff attacks and also making sure to dodge or parry the dark spears, suddenly the statue stopped moving and the enemies around Azusa disappeared.

Not only that but the blur on the face of the statue also disappeared and showed the beautiful face of her big sister. This was exactly the idol of the goddess that she was searching for. A system notification also made it clear that it was the real deal.

As for if she was still in a dream world or not, during the intense fight, she had become sure that it was the real world. Her mind had been perfectly clear during this whole time and if this was also an illusion, then the current Azusa had no way to get out of it. So she decided to treat the currect world as the real one.

Then she picked up the idol of the goddess and decided to return back to the village. She was feeling extremely tired and now her target was to rest while lying on Elena's thighs and getting her head patted by her. So she immediately started to go toward the church of the village.
