After contacting many of their connections, the butler Dian had managed to increase their funds to 1.6 billion. Normally this amount should be more than enough to buy an one time use item like a scroll no matter how rare that was.

But their opponent for this duel of bidding was none other than Elena. After her bidding of one billion was challenged she did not even bat an eye and immediately double the bid.

With that, she again had no other competitors left. Castrotini Astroyume was unwilling to lose but as he did not have enough money, he had no other way but to accept his defeat. Still, Castrotini had not fully given up on getting his hands on this scroll yet.

"Dian, go and try to find out all the available information about the person who is getting in our way. If she is within our capability to handle, get the scroll from her. If not, then let's just forget about it."

This might look like a dead trail but that was not the case. Now that Elena knew about this Rektengelda organisation, she would be able to investigate it in order to find more about Haity's sister.

As for the information about the Treust family, it was quite detailed. Even though this family was located in a distant land, with how famous they were before their sudden demise, the information about them was very readily available.

The Treust family had several powerful mages and they had managed to gather quite a name for themselves with several highly appreciated research papers on various magical fields. Specially in the filed of sensory and body modification magic, the Treust family was among the best.

So how could such a prominent family be destroyed in just a night. The reason for that was the immense influence that a Sage had. Yes, the organisation responsible for the destruction of the Treust family was an organisation serving the "Sky Burning Sage".

The enemy of the Treust family was not really the sage himself and instead was one of his students. But even just with the identity of being a student of a sage, that person was able to bring down a large and powerful family to their knees even though the person in question was not very strong himself.

The Elder Works was quite thorough with their provided information and they had even added some information about that student of the sage too. The name of this person was Charles Honta and after knowing his current status, Elena understood why Haity had no thoughts of revenge in her heart.

Actually, Charles Honta was already dead. He had died just a few weeks ago while trying to hunt a monster beast. So as the remnants of the Treust family had no valid target left to take revenge on, they had no other way but to forget about this grave matter.

Even though Charles was now dead, there were still his friends and subordinates who still had enmity toward the Treust family. That was the reason why the members of the family still needed to keep themselves hidden.

But then Elena found the appearance of the ring here to be very suspicious. If the Treust family was still trying to keep on hiding then why would they dare to release something with their family emblem on it to the market ?

Elena guessed that there was a high possibility that this whole thing was a ploy by the enemies of the Treust family to bait the hidden members out. If that was truly the case, then the life of Haity's sister might be in danger.

Elena dismissed the other assistant and then had a private conversation with Haity about this matter. Hearing what Elena had guessed, Haity's face went pale and her while body froze up. She was quite close to her big sister. So learning that her life might be in serious danger made Haity quite fearful. She was also feeling very weak and useless as, in the current moment, she could do nothing to help her sister out.

In this situation, Haity used her brain and managed to come up with just a single thing that she was able to do. And that was to ask for someone else's help. But she did not have any powerful connection in this city as she had arrived here not too long ago so she only had a one single person who might be able to help her out in this situation.

That person was obviously Elena. Asking for her help for such a serious matter after meeting her just a few hours ago was extremely shameless but for the sake of her sister, Haity was willing to throw her shame away.

So she turned toward Elena with a determined look and bowed her head in a perfect ninty degree angle. Then she spoke up with emotions feeling her voice.

"Miss Elena, I'm willing to give my whole existence to you but please help me in rescuing my sister. I'm willing to do anything in exchange, so please, please ..."

As she was talking, her voice started to choke up in sadness. Would Elena be moved with this and help her out or would she reject Haity ?
