After subduing the Cosmos Swallowing Worm, Elena immediately sent it inside her mini world. But in an isolated section as for the time being, she was going to keep this dangerous monster worm away from others.

After that, Elena did not return back to the world but continued to stay in the void. She was able to feel that the main mastermind or someone related to them was coming so she started to get ready for a second battle. Even though the battle with the worm was not easy, Elena had not lost much energy in that battle. So she was ready for a second bout or even more.

As Elena waited, the space before her broke and the broken shards came at her. But this was just a petty attack that even a weak level 6000 powerhouse could block. So it did no damage to her.

What stepped out from that spatial crack was a small ship. And the people running this ship was a group of three bipedal rats. Those rats were dressed in a very neat and tidy manner and bowed their heads with style after seeing Elena. But as they had a very irritated smiles on their faces, it was clear that this bow was definitely not sincere.

Currently Elena was in her fight mode. Normally she might have found these crafty rats be to cute or funny but that was not going to happen at that moment. Fight mode Elena was not really a good person to joke around with.

What greeted the bow of the crafty rats was a sword slash. The barrier of the ship tried to block this attack but was unable to do so for more than a moment. The sword attack penetrated the barrier and reduced the ship to dust.

As for the rats on the ship, several defensive items on their bodies lit up and tried to block the attack. And surprisingly enough those items were successful in doing so. Even though Elena was not trying of kill them and wanted to capture them instead, she had put an considerable power behind that derivative concept boosted sword attack. So she was a little surprised that it was blocked.

She had analysed the rats before making her attack but the result was nothing impressive. She had not found anything on these rats that could have the strength to stop her attack. But now it looked like the items in action had managed to fool even her broken analyse.

But that did not mean Elena's trust in her analyse ability was damaged by this. She continued to use it and soon started to notice some problems. There were several items on these three rats which had a hidden true status that Elena had missed beforehand but had managed to find out now.

After learning about those artifacts, she was sure about the involvement of a level 9000 plus powerhouse in this matter. And that powerhouse was also the creator of these items which were able to hide from her analyse.

Taking advance of this little gap, all three of the rats used extremely powerful teleportation methods to run away from here. All their smugness was now gone. Elena had no idea why these weak rats were so smug to begin with.

But even though the teleportation techniques used by them was very strong, if it was so simple to run away from Elena, then the lives of mang people would have been very easy. Elena used her extremely well practiced space and time concepts to create a domain around her which blocked most types of teleportation. This domain ability was just slightly weaker than the worm's racial ability which was just broken.

With the activation of this ability, the teleportation of the rats slowed down but did not completely stop. Which did not surprised Elena at all as she had already expected it. The items used for this teleportation was again the ones which came from a level 9000 powerhouse. They were not so easy to neutralise.

But Elena did not need to neutralize them. Just slowing down the process was enough. Elena immediately started using other skills to imprison the three rats. She used not just one skill to do so but several.

The rats immediately tried to commit suicide to get out of this trouble. But as the rats themselves were not very strong, Elena was able to easily prevent that. There was also another item on them that was also trying to self destruct as soon as Elena had used an imprisonment techniques on the rats. But Elena was already aware of this item's function because of the analyse before and immediately took steps to stop the self destruction.

Just like that she actually managed to capture the rats. But as soon as she brought them before her, the eyes the rats turned golden and their levels suddenly went up by 1000, from 5000 to 6000.

Even with this insane boost in power, these rats were still no match for Elena. But this boosted state lasted for just a second and after that, all three of the rats turned into golden sand and died completely.

It look like the reason behind the activation of this boost giving skill was to make the rats suffer the backlash of this skill to kill them. Elena had seen the skill "Blessing of the Golden Sovereign" on them but had not managed to learn a lot about what this skill could do. So she was unable to stop it's activation. Elena had to agree that she was definitely outsmarted here.

But that did not mean this whole thing was a failure. The moment between the rats getting the boost and turning into golden sand, Elena had used everything she had to extract a little bit of the rats' souls.

As this extraction was very hurried so the memory preserved in the extracted soul fragments would definitely be broken and incomplete. But still getting something out of this whole thing was better than getting nothing.

Not only that, but Elena was also extremely irritated by getting attacked one sidedly like this. As a revenge minded person, there was no way she was going to just accept getting beaten up like this. So she had sent a little gift for the main mastermind who was still hiding through the slight connection that the rats and the items had shared with that person.

This little gift that Elena had sent was strong enough to kill a level 7000 plus powerhouse but for the level 9000 plus mastermind, it would just be a slight breeze. So the intent behind this gift was not damage but just harassment.

After doing all this, Elena took a deep breath and sighed lightly. Then she collected all the golden sand and broken fragments of the now destroyed items. Then she disappeared from the void. The void also became calm as if nothing major had happened here.
