With their previous moves still active, the three swordmasters came closer to each other. Immediately their moves finally started to clash with one another.

As Elena and Roger had greater range than the Last Samurai, they were the first ones to clash. And the result was Elena's "Sky Full of Stars" destroying the sword shadow soldiers who came in contact with it.

But that did not mean Elena won this exchange. The army that Roger had was consisted of millions of sword shadows. But Elena's sky full of stars had managed to defeat only a fraction of that number. So it was still hard to judge which one of the moves would be victorious at the end.

But Elena was not Roger's only opponent here. As he had tried to kill the Last Samurai several times in the past, both of them had a very bad relationship. So the Last Samurai did not even try to get close to Elena and instead went directly to clash against the Lost Wanderer.

His "Calm and Silence" was without a doubt the strongest among the three moves in terms of destructive power. If only it's range was slightly bigger, he would definitely have won this exchange.

So when he came in contact with the sword shadow soldiers, they just got obliterated. With this move active, Last Samurai was able to easily cross the blockade made by the sword shadows and was about to reach Roger.

Seeing this, Elena also decided that she could not stay away from the main action. So she immediately activated her almost signature move "Convergence of Swords".

Normally she could control all the sword present in the vicinity with this move. But obviously because both Roger and Last Samurai's mastery of the sword was not lower than her own, this move did not effect them at all.

But that was not the case for the regular sword shadows. Even though they had a slight aura of Roger's own sword intent on them, they fundamentally were not one and the same. Roger would never mix his own sword aura with so many inferior ones.

So they were not immune to the effect of Elena's "Convergence of Swords". So most of the sword shadow soldiers almost immediately lost control of their sword and the swords ended up killing the their own owners.

This way Elena was able to take care of her own side quite easily and started to go to the location where the other two had already started clashing.

The Last Samurai only had a single sword with him and it was a katana. But what made Elena very interested was the fact that this katana lookes very simple without any fancy decorations on it.

Elena was also able to sense that the quality of this sword was extremely low. Even a level 500 or 600 would not want to use this sword. But in the hands of the Last Samurai, the prowess of this sword was equal to or even slightly greater than a genesis grade items.

As for the Lost Wanderer, just like Elena, he did not have only one sword that he was loyal to. He had several quite powerful swords floating around him and he was also holding two large greatswords in both of his hands.

Elena did not just continue watching the battle from the sidelines. Normally in a life and death survival battle, it would have been better if she had just stayed away from these two and had waited for a perfect opportunity to land a killing blow.

But the battle happening here was to see whose sword mastery was the best among them. So staying away from the battle was not an option here.

As Elena joined the two others, she used her [Transcendental Sword Art: Dance of Eternity] and [Sword Authority: Invincible Divine Sword]. The transcendental Sword Arts were moves that she had created and the sword authority used here was a gift from her only rival in the path of the sword that she had developed it to even be useful in a battle between supremes.

As soon as Elena joined the frey, the battle became more chaotic. Elena did not consider any of the two to be on her side but still her primary target was the Lost Wanderer.

The reason behind this decision made by Elena was actually very simple. To her, the Lost Wanderer was very similar to a bandit but just with a lot more strength. And as Elena was someone who loved hunting down and going after bandits, obviously she was going to mainly target Roger.

Facing the pressure from two of mighty opponents, Roger was not worried at all. Instead the smile on his face became even bigger. Then he activated his special skill and also his self made signature sword style. It looked like he was now going all out.

With the activation of these things, a domain completely under Roger's control spread out and about ten or so new sword shadows appeared. Even though this number sounded a lot less than what it was before, all the sword shadows that had now appeared were at or above the level of 8000. So they all were overwhelmingly stronger than the previous million strong army.

That was not all. A concentrated sword aura also covered Roger from head to toe and turned into his armour. Several of his swords also joined together to create a massive weird looking sword which was radiating so much power that it was cracking the space here just by existing.

And most importantly, just like Elena's Convergence of Swords, there was some kind of authority that was continuously trying to take over Elena's control over her own body and her sword. Fortunately for her, with her sword mastery being on the same level as Roger, she was able to resist it.

But Elena was able to only resist it and she was not immune to it. If she weakened enough to not being able to put up any resistance anymore, even her sword and all her experience would immediately be devoured by Roger, becoming his for eternity.

With this in mind, Elena activated something that she had been developing with insane speed after entering this Ruination Temple even though it was still not completed. And that was a special sword art which was borrowing from the nature and strength of the lesser concept of Ruin. She had named this brand new art : [Sword of Catastrophe]

As for the other target of Roger's assualt, the Last Samurai was able to easily counter this move with his own Supreme Sword Art. The name of his techniques were not just for show, it was truly worthy of this name.

That was how the battle between these three reached a different level. So far, no one had managed to get any advantage against anyone. But would this stalemate continue or would Roger finally be able to dominate everyone after going all out ?
