As Elena's Sword of Catastrophe was still not completely ready, the move that she used was not a proper one. It did have a foundation of a move but that foundation still needed some polish and only then she could finally start building the move.

Elena obviously had many other sword moves in her arsenal that she could have used to fight the now strengthened Roger. So why was she taking such a dangerous risk by using a semi finished move like this ?

The reason behind Elena's decision is actually very simple. She had found the current time to be the perfect one to quickly solidify the foundation of this new technique of hers.

As currently both Lost Wanderer and Last Samurai were using quite a bit of their power, the amount of pressure that she was facing was insane. But at the same time, as Elena was not the only target of this pressure, she was still not overwhelmed by it. So this was just the right amount pressure to assist her in her growth.

While it was the Last Samurai and Roger who were clashing the most, it was actually Elena who was suffering the most amount of injuries. Her Sword of Catastrophe was already a very attack oriented move and it was also not even completed. So the defense that it was able to provide to Elena was not very good.

But still, Elena was somehow managing to keep her life intact. She had only lost about 10 percent of her HP which were also healing back up automatically.

Even dying once or twice would not be the end for her with her resurrections. But still, in this battle for supremacy, if she became the first one to die, that would completely put her in the backfoot. That was something Elena did not want.

But while she was busy facing off against six of the twelve currently active sword shadows, suddenly Last Samurai launched an surprise attack on her. So far, the Last Samurai had not paid much attention to her at all. That was why even though Elena had not dropped her guard, she was still taken aback by this sudden attack.

The move that the Last Samurai had used on Elena was one of the forms of his supreme sword art, [Beyond Life and Death]. It was a specialised attack that could prevent most resurrection methods except for the very top tier ones.

And as Elena was actually not on the same level as him, Last Samurai was sure that there was no chance of survival for this lady against this attack of his. He had not held back at all and had made this move with the intention of killing Elena.

He had not really paid much attention to her from the start of the battle for a very simple reason. He was confidence that no matter what, the current Elena could not surpass him in the art of sword.

It might be something that this lady would be able to accomplish in future and at that time, he would give her the respect that she deserved. But the current Elena was not deserving of any attention from him. That was what that the Last Samurai had thought.

But when Elena had displayed the foundation of a new move that was still in its infant stage, for the first time in this battle, Last Samurai was shaken.

Even though Roger also had poweful sword arts, the Last Samurai had never taken him seriously. His sword arts were all stolen or modified. It was something that was impure and cheap in Last Samurai's opinion.

So no matter how strong the Lost Wanderer became, Last Samurai had never felt any kind of true rivalry with him. If this man had not tried to kill him many times in the past, the Last Samurai would not be interested in making any contact with him.

But after seeing that this golden haired beauty was trying to create a brand new technique in the middle of this battle and the quality of it being extremely high, for the first time, the Last Samurai had felt a risk to his supreme throne at the top of the sword arts.

He himself had studied the lesser concept of Ruin a lot as it was a concept that was very suitable for him who had came from a Ruined World. But all the techniques that he had managed to develop after studying this lesser concept for many years were nowhere as good as his own Supreme Sword Art. Actually they were all three or four levels below it. For that reason, Last Samurai had not added them to the move set that he would use in a serious battle.

But the move that this young lady was creating, with his own insanely high understanding of swords, he could feel that it was something that could rival his own Supreme Sword Art. As soon as he had realised this, his body had moved almost on its own in order destroy this rival in the womb.

The Last Samurai and even the Lost Wanderer was sure that this move would be the end for this young lady. Even if she had a top tier resurrection method and could revive, her momentum in this battle would complete disappeared.

The Lost Wanderer had also noticed the move that this brave madwoman was trying to create in the middle of this battle. Roger's own sense for things like this was not as sharp as Last Samurai's but even then he had realised how amazingly strong this move was going to be.

But unfortunately, with the Last Samurai taking action, this move would not see the light of the day. At least not now. So Roger sighed a little and send his sword shadows to see if he could somehow add this madwoman to his collection after she had died.

But whatever these two powerhouses were expecting did not happen. As soon as Elena was faced with the tangible threat of death by the hands of a superior enemy, various skills and titles suddenly came into play and boosted her stats and comprehension speed of this move by a great margin.

So at the very last moment, Elena managed to executed a very rudimentary version of the move that she was planning. She had finally managed to complete the foundation for this move of hers. The move was still not completed but Elena had managed to take the most crucial step.

That was not enough to completely save Elena but still it had managed to lessen the power of the killing move by quite a bit and Elena only lost about two third of her HP. It was a much better result than what Elena was expecting.

Both of the other sword supremes were surprised by this but then they again attacked. This time it was not just the Last Samurai but also the Lost Wanderer who was attacking Elena. Suddenly these two enemies had teamed up in seconds to take care of a powerhouse whose level was actually quite a bit lower than their own.

So even after performing a miraculous feet, Elena was still not out of danger. Would she be able to survive the joint attacks by these two powerhouses or would this be her end in this battle of supremacy.
