The final of the tournament took place the day after the semifinals. The nobles were not interested in the final as both of the finalists were commoners. But other than them, almost all the teachers and senior students were insanely excited about the match.

Colette and Lucian were the 1st and 2nd place holders respectively. Both were able to win their previous matches quite easily. It also looked like they also had hidden their true strength. So the spectators had absolutely no idea who had the advantage between them.

Today both Colette and Lucian were fully geared. Lucian was wearing light leather armour and had two swords in his hip. He was also wearing gauntlets and greaves. He also had a dagger with him. He for the first time in the tournament was wearing a helmet to protect his head. And normally Lucian always had an easygoing and confident smile on his face, but today that was nowhere to be seen. He had a very serious and concentrated expression. He looked like a very serious warrior just before a battle.

On the other side, Colette was wearing a pure white garb with golden borders. Her dress looked a lot like a priestess'. She, for the first time in the tournament was wearing a black blindfold. There was a beautiful tiara of her head with a blue coloured gem on it. She was also holding a symbol of several bright stars coming together in her hand. He was looking very divine.

As soon as the match started, Colette created the light ball shooting structure and also summoned the white bird like her previous match. She kept the bird around her to protect herself and also created the hemispherical barrier.

Lucian tried but was unable to teleport inside the barrier. And if he teleported near Colette to attack the barrier then the bird would go after him. He also had to be aware of the light balls coming toward him as they packed quite some punch.

It would have been fine if that was all Colette was doing. If it was her full strength then Lucian was sure he would have no problem winning. But this was not Colette's full strength. While Lucian was trying his best to fend off the bird and the light balls, Colette was chanting something. Yes, for the first time in the whole tournament, Colette who could use high damaging attacks like nothing was chanting. And Lucian's instincts were all screaming danger in his mind.

While Lucian was busy fending off her summoned bird and light ball throwers Colette was going all out. Lucian was determined to stop her from completing whatever she was trying to do as his intuition told him that if she finished what she was doing then his chance of winning would become very slim.

So he destroyed the bird in about 3 minutes and even destroyed four of five light ball throwers but as soon as he reached the barrier and hacked at it once two large white birds appeared this time to block him. The four destroyed light ball throwers also appeared out of nowhere.

Lucian was getting a bit desperate now as he could feel that Colette's preparations were coming to an end. He could not let her complete her preparations. So he went all out. He used his killing intent to freeze the birds for a few seconds and used an aura technique "Concentrated Shield" to block the light balls.

Then using the gap that was created when the birds froze, he reached the barrier. He wasted no time and used a secret aura skill "Slaughter Strengthening" to strengthen his next attack's power to the maximum degree and hacked at the barrier with his strongest aura art that Elena taught him, {First form of Asura: Rampage}.

That attack was strong enough to completely break the barrier. But at that exact moment the birds were able to get back to their senses and used their bodies to block Lucian's attack for Colette. But they were soon defeated and Lucian was only one step away from hitting Colette.

So Colette was able to activate only four techniques where her target was to activate seven. But if she didn't stop right now to defend herself then she would definitely lose. So she summoned two light swords and blocked Lucian's attack and even made a counter attack. She was atleast able to activate her most important technique, Awakening of seed of divinity.

Even tho she was not in her perfect and the strongest form, she was still confident to win this battle. After pushing Lucian back with her light swords, she summoned more armaments like armours, helmet etc. After she was done with the summoning, she looked like a Valkyrie. She even had a pair of wings on her back.

Lucian didn't waste any time and tried to attack Colette while she was summoning her armaments but four of those white birds appeared and blocked him. He instantly used teleportation and appeared on the other side to attack Colette but a giant shield blocked for Colette this time. He didn't get a chance to push the attack as the light ball throwers were soon targeting him.

When Colette was down with summoning all her armaments, she instantly went into offensive. Lucian had way higher battle experience but Colette had overwhelming power and numbers on her side. He had a hypothesis so this time Lucian didn't kill all the birds and left one alive.

That was a correct decision as no more birds appeared. But Colette was summoning more of the light ball throwers and there numbers had reached 15. Lucian was having a very difficult time blocking all of them.

As the battle went on Lucian was getting pushed back more and more. He was barely managing with all the battle experiences he had but that could only take him so far. So he planned to go for a do or die attack on Colette.

Shuri was watching the match with very high excitement. After her last match with Lucian, she would sometimes think of him suddenly. And even tho her friend was fighting in the arena she was not able to support her wholeheartedly. When she saw Lucian today she found him to be very handsome and her face turned red thinking about him.

Now it was looking like Lucian was on a back foot so Shuri was silently supporting him inside her head. She then saw suddenly Lucian giving up completely of defense and going of a all out attack and Colette facing such attack with her own all out attack. Shuri's heart almost jumped out of her chest seeing that and she waited impatiently for the result to be seen.
