Realm of Infinity

Chapter 49: Noah's Anger

Inside the quiet cave, Noah sat cross-legged with his eyes closed. The glow from the lotus of creation faded in and out like a soft heartbeat.

Threads of pale green light wrapped around him, tugging gently at his consciousness as the third Enlightenment Pill worked through his body. His mind stayed calm, sharp, empty of anything except the drifting fragments of the Law of Creation.

He was getting close to pushing the comprehension above 0.3 percent. It wasn't much, but he could feel the structure of the law taking shape in his mind. He only needed time. Nothing else.

That was when something happened.

A sudden ripple cut through the air around him. His connection to the lotus wavered. Then a harsh vibration spread across his communication link with the empire.

Noah's eyes snapped open.

"Rudi? Why is he using the emergency communication link? Has something happened?", Noah thought worriedly.

"Boss thousands of Epic tier monsters are pouring out from the space portals. The barrier is about to collapse. We can't hold much longer."

Static swallowed his voice.

Noah shot up as if lightning had exploded under him. His heart slammed in his chest. He didn't need to hear more. He didn't need to think.

He moved.

He was about to teleport out of the cave when the world trembled again. This time not from his communication link but from outside.

From above.

A suffocating pressure crashed into the cave like a tidal wave. Noah's breath froze for a moment. Dust shook free from the stone ceiling. The air thickened until even his legend-rank body felt resistance.

Something huge was rising from the lake.

Noah's orbit of thought shattered instantly. He shifted his senses upward and felt a monstrous presence pushing through the surface—like a continent lifting itself from beneath an ocean.

"Seriously?" Noah muttered, his voice sinking into cold anger. "Right now?"

"I wanted to spare his life for guarding this place but now he had made the wrong move."

The ground shuddered again. The lake outside erupted.

Something massive exploded upward, breaking the surface in a whirlwind of water and energy. The entire lake rose like a dome, collapsing into streams of falling silver.

Noah teleported outside in an instant, materializing on a tall stone ridge overlooking the water.

His eyes narrowed.

From the depths of the lake, a creature pushed itself into the air. A colossal octopus, but not something found in nature. Its skin was made of shimmering dark purple, and each tentacle stretched for kilometers. Its body pulsed with golden lines, like living veins of lightning.

A Supreme-bloodline beast. Peak Epic ranked. Its combat power was easily in the tens of quadrillions of stars which was not normal as a trillion stars like others.

It was a Supreme guardian level beast, if allowed to break through to the mythical realm, it would have directly become one of the most powerful mythical creatures.

And the monster was angry for disturbing it's peach.

The moment its gigantic eyes locked on Noah, the creature screeched. The sound shredded the clouds above the lake and carved deep ravines in the water itself.

Noah clenched his teeth.

He didn't have time for this.

The octopus shot forward, tentacles whipping at a speed that twisted the air itself. Noah dodged the first strike, but the pressure alone sent waves blasting into the surrounding cliffs.

Another tentacle swept from the side, and this time Noah raised a hand to block it. The impact shook his body, sending a deep vibration through through his bone.

Though he was more powerful than this thing but it's massive size was giving it some advantages.

Even peak epic beasts weren't usually this strong.

But a supreme bloodline changed everything.

Noah's anger finally snapped.

"I was about to leave," he said quietly, shaking with frustration. "And you decide to block me now?"

The octopus roared again and swung all eight tentacles at once. The pressure around Noah twisted like a storm collapsing inward.

His expression turned ice cold.

"Fine."

He raised his hand.

Mana surged. Light gathered around his body, and the sky flickered like a glitching star.

Noah created a skill on the spot.

"Descension of the Holy Swords."

The heavens opened.

A blinding white tear split the clouds. Thousands—no, tens of thousands of swords formed out of pure divine light far above the lake. Each sword stretched dozens of meters long, sharp enough to cut through space. The light around them grew brighter, humming with a sacred tone that made the air tremble.

For a brief moment, the entire region fell silent.

Even the peak epic octopus stopped moving, its instincts screaming at it to flee. But it was too late.

Noah lowered his hand.

"Fall."

The swords dropped as one.

The sky became a rain of divine destruction.

The moment the first sword struck the octopus, its massive body convulsed violently. Then the next hundred swords arrived. Then a thousand more. Space rippled. The lake exploded into steam. Each holy sword pierced through the monster's flesh like it was paper.

The ground quaked. Energy shockwaves spread outward, tearing apart mountains and reshaping the landscape.

Within seconds, the colossal creature couldn't even scream anymore. Its supreme bloodline burned, cracked, and disintegrated.

The final sword struck its core.

The octopus imploded into cosmic dust.

The lake which was once massive and deep, was now a dry crater full of glowing motes of white light drifting through the air.

Noah didn't spare it another glance.

He vanished.

A heartbeat later, he appeared above the empire.

And the sight froze his blood.

The sky was torn open from every direction. At least twenty massive space portals hovered above the empire, each one leaking monstrous energy and dark crimson lightning.

From them poured thousands upon thousands of epic-tier beasts, winged dragons, skeletal titans, shadow leviathans, horned giants, and beasts so mutated they didn't belong in any known world.

Some weren't beasts.

Some were humans too. They were probably from the native civilizations.

Epic realm cultivators with distinct markings and royal cloaks, their eyes were cold and filled with killing intent.

So they made their move.

Below, the empire was almost collapsing. The barrier around it flickered like a dying lantern. Cracks spread through it like a shattered mirror. Every citizen, every warrior, every commander was pushing their mana into it to keep it from breaking. But the weight of thousands of epic monsters was crushing it.

Noah's jaw locked.

His eyes turned blood red.

He understood immediately.

The natives were doing everything they could to destroy his empire.

This was coordinated.

This had been planned.

The natives were trying to erase his civilization before he had the chance to secure their place in the Realm of Infinity.

"So this is how you want to play," Noah whispered, voice trembling with fury.

Mana roared through him. Sextillions of points surged like a tsunami. He didn't hesitate. He didn't think about cost.

He created a skill.

A massive one.

A forbidden-level one.

His hand opened, and the air around him warped violently.

"Control Domain."

The entire sky screamed as Noah poured a sextillion mana points into one single creation.

A red circle formed under him, then expanded outward. Its diameter spread in seconds, one kilometer, ten kilometers, thirty kilometers, until the entire empire fell inside it.

Every creature inside the domain froze.

Thousands of epic beasts.

Dozens of epic human cultivators.

Even the sky-rending energy from the portals paused, flickering uncertainly.

Noah clenched his fist.

With the power of his new skill, he gripped their souls.

Every single one.

The beasts thrashed. The humans panicked. Their spiritual bodies twisted violently in his grasp.

Noah raised his hand, palm facing downward.

His voice came out low. It was calm. It was deadly.

"Perish."

His fingers closed.

The world turned white.

Every beast inside the domain disintegrated in less than a second. Their bodies broke apart into cosmic particles and dissolved into the air. The epic humans followed the same fate,no time for screams, no time to resist.

Just annihilation.

Silence fell over the empire like a thick blanket.

The barrier stopped cracking.

The portals flickered.

Every native who had been watching from afar suddenly felt their hearts stop. They looked at the empty battlefield where thousands of epic entities existed only moments ago.

"He killed… all of them," one whispered, trembling.

"He killed epic beasts like dust."

"This power… this is already beyond legend. This is…"

A native's voice cracked.

"This is the birth of a future supreme monster…"

Their fear turned to anger.

"If he grows any further… our civilizations will be in danger."

Another native clenched his fists.

"We need to send a mythical being. Immediately."

Far below, Noah floated slowly down to the ground. His blood-red eyes stared at the fading cosmic particles.

His empire was saved for now.

But his rage didn't cool.

His gaze lifted toward the distant lands where the natives watched him through their crystal observatories.

"I'll rip you natives apart someday," he said quietly.

There was no shout.

A promise that made the entire Realm of Infinity shudder.
