My Happy Dragon Life With Supernatural Girls

Chapter 51: 51. Aura Veins.

Aster's eyes widened in their sockets.

He could feel the warm sensation as it kept spreading through his body.

They were like tiny sparkles of warmth scattered throughout his body.

"Well done dear, you can feel your life force now, can't you?" Vivian asked.

"Yes, I can."

"Good, now listen. Currently, your aura is like tiny particles scattered all around you, but they are not in their purest form yet. So you're going to have to do something about that."

"What do I need to do?"

"You need to direct them all to a particular spot in your body. It's like giving them a home, to prevent them from wandering aimlessly within you."

Vivian continued. "All you have to do is pull them down to just below your navel and that's where your core will be."

Aster focused on the area she described and he slowly began to feel the warm specks of light being pulled towards his abdomen by a gentle force.

At first, the specks moved reluctantly, but then, little by little, they began to flow steadily to his navel.

Now he could feel his life force tingling and running along his limbs, as if something soft and warm was sliding beneath his skin.

Then his breathing deepened, and more particles slid down from his head to his chest and then his spine.

Each one of them was tracing an invisible path toward his lower abdomen.

There were so many, and yet, all together, they felt… very small.

In fact, it felt like he was living in a huge house filled with scattered candles and he was now gathering all of them into one tiny lantern.

Meanwhile, Vivian continued to watch as Aster seamlessly gathered his Aura in the direction of his navel.

"Good, that's it. You're doing great, dear." Vivian continuously encouraged him. "Keep going. Don't rush it, cause if your mind wavers, the particles will scatter again."

Aster nodded in understanding, and his mind became even calmer as he gathered more particles in his navel.

Time seemed to stretch and Aster didn't know how long he had been doing this, but little by little, his limbs felt lighter.

His fingers and legs also felt slightly cooler as if the warmth was leaving them, but then, in his abdomen, it felt like something was forming.

Now, Aster focused his mind once again, and in his inner vision, where he had initially noticed a single point of light, he could now see that a tiny, colorless bead had been formed there.

At first, the bead looked like glass but as more and more aura mingled within the bead, the inside of the bead began to fill up with a blue liquid.

The liquid was barely up to a teaspoon but it was undeniably there.

Aster focused harder and he was finally able to gather every last particle.

He scoured his body in his mind and guided the stragglers down to his abdomen as well.

By the time he was done, there were no wandering specks in his body because all of his aura had been pulled into that single bead in his lower abdomen.

The blue liquid inside the bead had also risen a little bit, and at that moment Aster noticed the system screen pop up in front of him.

[Congratulations to the host, you've successfully awakened your core]

Seeing this, Aster's heart skipped a beat and a smile widened across his lips.

Of course, Vivian also noticed the smile and a similar smile tugged at her lips as well.

"Well done, my little dragon. Most demons your age would've taken days to fully gather their aura but you did yours in one sitting."

Hearing this, a feeling of pride bloomed within him but Aster couldn't help but glance down at his hands and legs.

"Why do I feel so… empty?" He asked quietly and Vivian chuckled softly.

"It's perfectly normal dear. Before now, your aura had been scattered throughout your body, but now that it had all been gathered to a specific spot, there's no surprise that you're feeling that something is missing."

"Think of it as cleaning your room," she continued. "Right now, all the clutter is finally inside one box. It might feel empty outside, but inside that box… things are just beginning. So don't worry, you'll definitely feel better once you've completed what we're about to do next."

"What's next?"

"Now, it's time for your body to make use of the refined Aura within you." Vivian extended her hand and gently rested her palm above his navel.

Her hand wasn't touching his navel rather, it was hovering about an inch above it. "The liquid inside your core is your refined Aura. It will continue to grow as you meditate and train but if it just sits there, then you're no different from someone hoarding treasure and never spending it."

"So what do I do now?"

"Now, you need to create pathways within your body for the refined Aura to pass through," Vivian replied as she further guided him on what to do.

"Listen carefully dear, and follow my instructions, okay?" Aster did as he was instructed, and he began to imagine the blue liquid within his core.

Seeing it, Aster began to slowly split the liquid into two equal halves.

Of course, it wasn't easy, but he had no intention of stopping what he was doing.

He imagined inserting an invisible line down the middle to divide the liquid but it didn't work. Instead, the liquid resisted, and it wanted to remain as one pool.

Nevertheless, Aster persisted and slowly the liquid began to respond.

Finally, he was able to split it perfectly and a sigh of relief escaped his lips.

"That's great dear. Now, it's time to create your Aura veins. Take one half of the liquid and imagine it flowing out of the core like thin lines spreading through your body. Not on the surface but under your skin. It should feel like glowing threads just beneath your flesh. Something similar to how your veins are."

Aster nodded faintly then he willed the left half of the liquid to move.

At first, nothing happened then he gritted his teeth as he muttered internally.

'Come on… move…'

Then suddenly, a slow, syrupy stream began to crawl out of his core.

It trailed upward like a thin blue ribbon and Aster could feel a warm line stretching upward from his abdomen.

It passed along his spine before branching over his shoulders, and his skin prickled as thin lines of blue light began to appear under his skin, causing his skin to look like glowing cracks on a porcelain floor.

"That's it dear, you're doing great. " Vivian's eyes gleamed with excitement as she instructed him further.

"Let it spread down your arm, then into your hands and fingertips…"

Following her instructions, the aura stream followed new paths to form tiny solidified aura veins that were more rigid than his normal veins.

[Congratulations to the host, you've successfully created your Aura veins, and you've also acquired two new skills.]
