Li Guang and the Skeleton Archers had exceeded their usual performance.
But even so, the Sheep-headed Monsters still possessed a terrifying force of over eighty riders.
However, while the thick fog formed by Dark Concealment could block vision, it posed no obstacle to Fang Zhou's Soul Vision skill. Fang Zhou's deep eyes flickered with an eerie blue light, and he could clearly sense the densely packed soul fluctuations of the Sheep-headed Monster Battle Group.
Although these Sheep-headed Monsters could barely see their surroundings within the Dark Concealment, their vision was greatly impaired, causing their advancement speed to slow by more than half. In the darkness, their movements became sluggish as if they were groping their way forward, having lost their previous ferocity.
Fang Zhou took a deep breath, raised the Crystal Ball in his hand, and ordered in a deep voice, "Everyone, concentrate your fire on the impact points of my Skeleton Flying Spear!"
The Skeleton Archers naturally obeyed his command without question. The Shelter guards, led by Punishment Ranger Li Guang, also followed Fang Zhou's orders without hesitation.
As Fang Zhou cast the Skeleton Flying Spear skill, an exceptionally sharp Bone Spear shot into the darkness like a bolt of lightning. In the blink of an eye, a shrill wail echoed from the depths of the dark.
Immediately after, an Arrow Rain poured down from the watchtower. Dozens of Skeleton Archers drew their bows and fired continuously, never pausing. Each arrow carved a perfect arc through the air, landing precisely at the locations Fang Zhou had designated.
This sudden torrent of arrows was like a torrential downpour, plunging the Sheep-headed Monsters, who had thought themselves safe, into chaos. It was impossible to tell how many were struck in the darkness, but their agonizing screams rose and fell in waves.
Every scream seemed to tear at the Black Armored Abyss Knight's heart, but he could only grit his teeth and endure. The Terror Wing Demon's Dark Concealment skill was a strong counter to ranged attacks, but its power was limited by the casting distance. Unless the Wing Demon was willing to take an immense risk and approach within two hundred meters of the camp, completely enveloping the watchtower with its dark power was nothing but a fool's dream.
The Black Armored Abyss Knight was fully aware of this, but at this moment, he could only clench his jaw. He clamped his legs tightly, and the warhorse beneath him seemed to sense its master's will. It let out a loud neigh and charged forward like a black whirlwind.
Finally, after a brief yet seemingly endless sprint, he broke through the boundary of the Dark Concealment, and the world before him became clear and bright once more. From less than thirty meters away, reaching the camp gate was now merely a matter of moments.
He saw the two open gates, which seemed to be beckoning him inside, and a fierce desire for conquest burned within his heart.
"Kill! Charge! Slay any who resist!" the Black Armored Abyss Knight's roar resounded across the battlefield like a beast's howl, inspiring the warriors around him.
With this command, the darkness surrounding him seemed to gain a life of its own, churning violently as countless Sheep-headed Monsters emerged from within. These half-human, half-beast monsters had ferocious faces and twisted bodies, wielding gleaming long spears and javelins. They let out deafening shrieks, like demons escaped from Hell, as they launched a frenzied Charge toward the camp gate.
The Sheep-headed Monsters were filled with a craving for victory. They firmly believed that once they crossed this wooden wall, the unprotected humans would scatter like startled birds, ripe for the slaughter. This scene had become a set pattern in their numerous raids, and every successful plunder only deepened their confidence. At this moment, they desperately whipped the black beasts beneath them onward, their hoarse howls chilling the air.
Just as the foremost Sheep-headed Monster was about to rush through the gate, it rose up from its mount, preparing to let out a roar of victory. However, the sound died in its throat, turning into a shrill scream.
Right in front of it, a formidable Spear Array of bone shimmered with a cold glint, waiting like the Death God's scythe for any enemy who dared to cross the line.
Beside this phalanx of spears stood an imposing Skeleton Warrior—Olaf. He wielded a pair of huge Double-Bladed Axes, their surfaces reflecting an eerie blue light. With the War Command experience Olaf had inherited from General Ning Feihu, directing such a small-scale battle was a breeze.
Beside him stood a squad of Skeleton Soldiers wielding Skeleton Greatswords. Though they lacked intelligence and moved slowly, they possessed an incomparable advantage: absolute obedience and flawless execution. Once given an order, these Undead Creatures would act without hesitation, letting nothing block their path.
The slaughter began.
With a silent roar, Olaf raised his Giant Axe and brought it smashing down.
The spear array formed by the Long Spear Skeletons responded instantly. They took a firm, unified step forward. At that moment, the tips of their long spears were like the first rays of dawn, piercing the gloom of the battlefield as they thrust forward.
The Sheep-headed Monster that had just rushed through the gate let out a cry filled with Fear. It waved its long spear wildly before being mercilessly impaled by several spears, which skewered it and the black beast it rode.
