"Now this is what I call a challenge!!..." Rahu grinned; his blade vanished. Replaced by a scythe, raising it in the sky, he muttered.
"Divine Sword Arts: [Sword Aura]!
"Severance: Exile"
The blade of the scythe glowed. Rahu slashed the scythe in a deadly arc at the incoming black hand!
GNNNNNNNN!!
KRACK-THUM!!
A monstrous shock wave spread throughout the valley; if not for the Glacial veil and the thick ice covering it, it would've surely turned into dust.
BOOOM!
The Spirit Realm cultivators weren't so lucky; all of them burst into a blood mess one by one like a watermelon.
Without waiting for a single moment, Rahu dashed towards the hooded woman with a wide grin on his face, black lightning cackling around his body.
Whoosh!
The woman, still injured, raised her fists at the incoming attack. Strange symbols lit up on her hand, and she met the attack head-on!
CRASH!!
Their fists met
GNNNNK…SHRAAACK!!
Rahu's arm trembled, the shock reaching up to his shoulder. The hooded woman's symbols flared like stars, black glyphs grinding against the scythe.
She clenched her jaw: a drop of blood streamed from her nose!
Seeing this, Rahu's grin widened.
"Heh…not bad!"
THROOM!!!
They both slid back through the ice, their feet carving trenches.
Before Rahu could recover, Sadarn was already above him, his eyes glowing in an eerie way.
"Don't blink."
The moment he spoke, the space around Rahu tilted.
ZRRNNNN—
Silence.
A beat later, Rahu's left ear slid off his head and dropped to the ice. Blood sprayed on the ground.
Rahu didn't flinch.
Popping a pill into his mouth to stop the bleeding, the bitter taste flooded his taste buds as the bleeding slowed.
Without warning, he raised his scythe again and slashed at Sadarn's figure.
BOOM!
Sadarn barely had the time to raise his hand in defence before the blade connected. The impact hurled him across the valley like a rag doll.
He crashed into the ice wall with a solid crunch, carving a crate the size of a large boulder.
"W-What is this Monster!?" were the last words Rahu heard before the hooded woman was already behind him.
WHOOSH!!
Her leg was coated in the same strange glyphs as she swung her leg on his neck like a lethal guillotine.
"Hmph, too slow."
BZZT—CRACK!!
Black lightning burst forth from his body like a volcanic eruption, a single arc lashing out behind him.
The blast severed her momentum and flung her away mid-kick, her flesh tearing in a blood mess with the symbols flickering like a dying star.
The hooded woman tumbled through the ice, carving a huge opening below.
Rahu exhaled slowly, his chest rising and falling in uneven breaths. Blood dripped from his ears, his ribs burned, and his arm throbbed.
Raising his hand, he cracked his neck with a grin.
"Such wastes! Even teaming up, you still can't beat a mere Vital Core Realm cultivator! Just accept this Daddy as your father. Perhaps in the future, you'll still have some dignity left. Bahahaha!"
"Bastard!!" Sadarn roared from the crater in the walls, his aura bursting out in violent pulses. Silver veins spread across his eyes as he stepped forward, his face twisted in fury when he heard those words.
"How could such a being exist—!!"
Rahu rolled his neck.
CRK-CRK-CRK
"And you should stop yapping like a bitch"
Sadarn vanished.
FWOOM!!
Rahu didn't see the attack, but he felt it this time. The way the air hollowed around him. Seeing this, he swung his blade!
GRAAANGK!!
A terrifying purple intent collided. Sadarn focused all his mana to fuel his eyes! Sparks flew as he tried his best to overpower this collision.
But suddenly, something unexpected happened. His vision blurred for a moment, his mana flow jammed like rusty gears.
Sadarn trembled. "W-What…I?"
Before he could speak, a massive hand shot from the smoke and clamped around his neck. Fingers, digging in. A tall figure stepped out, his eyes of a predator.
"You said you could see attacks before they could happen, right?"
Sadarn shook, a bit of clarity returning to his eyes, only to see the face of a terrifying demon with a grin stretched so unnatural that it sent a wave of terror down his spine.
"W-Wait!!"
Rahu dropped the scythe on the ground. Black lightning flashed around his hand.
SHHNKK!!
With a cruel smile, he jammed his two fingers into Sadarn's face.
SKRRRCH!!
"ARRRRGGHHHHH!!!! NOOOOOOOO!!! STO—ARGH STOP!!"
With slow deliberation, he gouged Sadarn's eyes with a cruel motion. Blood and vitreous fluid were sprayed all over his body.
Sadarn fell on the ground with a dull thud, clutching the empty sockets and shrieking loudly.
Rahu kicked him in the chest, sending him skidding across the ice like a discarded doll.
"That sight won't help you now, blind boy."
Saying that, he vanished. Appearing above the hooded woman in a flash of black lightning.
Her breath hitched as she saw him high in the air. She quickly raised her hand, the glyphs and symbols forming a protective dome around her.
"Heh, cheap tricks!"
Raising his leg high, he brought it down on the dome, hard.
SHATTERRR!
The barrier burst like fragile glass, and his kick didn't stop; his heel crashed into the woman's chest, her ribs shattering under the impact.
CRACKK!
"GURGHH…ARGHH..AGHHHHH!!"
The woman howled in pain, flailing her hands.
Rahu smirked, shifting his leg, he then stepped on her hand…hard!
CRACK!
Her shoulder instantly dislocated!! Earning another scream from the woman. Her hood had already been destroyed, revealing a flawless face twisted in pain and tears.
She glared at Rahu, her eyes burning with hate.
"You…you monster! You think you've won!?"
Rahu smiled at her question.
"The only reason you are alive is that I find your face beautiful, and I need some information, so if you plan on dying. Sorry, that's not happening, dear."
"Bastard!! M-My body!? W-Wait, no way!?" Her eyes widened as she realised. A faint black hue was spreading through her veins. Her limbs shook.
"Heh, now sleep. I don't have all day," he said, waving his hand. The woman instantly lost consciousness.
Rahu sighed; his left arm hung like a dead weight, bones sticking through the skin. Every breath he took choked him.
His ear was gone, leaving a patch of flesh that refused to clot. He walked forward, hurling the woman over his shoulders. His one knee trembled with each step, barely holding his existence.
"Peak Origin Realm cultivators are still beyond me. I'd be in trouble if not for my poison," said that he shook his head and vanished, leaving the valley in utter ruins.
