Infinite Dimension Physique: Rise of The Lustful Devil

Chapter 119: Are you talking about me?

The chamber was dead silent, and heavy breaths were heard throughout the chamber. At the center of the hall stood a high altar, oozing an eerie, malicious aura. One of the cultivators present swallowed hard.

"W-What is that? It is giving off such an evil aura," he whispered. Hearing his words, the other present cultivators nodded.

There were several cultivators standing in the back, and in front of them stood a stunning woman. Her face was delicate with smooth, porcelain skin. She had large, luminous blue eyes.

Her long, silver-white hair cascaded down her waist. A few loose strands attached to her face due to sweat, adding to her effortless elegance. Her figure was curvaceous and well-defined.

She calmly swept her gaze throughout the chamber, landing on the altar. There, on top of it, floated a strange bracelet. It had an unrecognizable sigil on its surface.

"That…thing, doesn't resonate with me…" She muttered in a low voice, hearing her words. The surrounding cultivators glanced at her in confusion.

"But Young Miss…Silveria, we already fought our way here. Nine demonic beasts, all at Origin Realm. After all that, we get…this?" The man gritted his teeth; they were the elite forces of House Rivera. And their mission in this realm was just a single thing.

Protect and Aid.

In total, they made up to thirty Spirit Realm cultivators and ten Origin Realm cultivators. A monstrous line-up. But only five of them were accompanying Silveria at this moment. Two outside and three inside, by her side.

Their elders and parents had ordered them to protect Silveria at any cost. And because of that, rumours had spread widely that Silveria Rivera had knowledge about the inheritance.

Which…was in fact true. She did possess the information regarding it, but that was it. She had some clues regarding the inheritance. That had led them here; their life had become very hectic and tiresome.

If not for the strength and backup of their House, they were sure that there would be big wars fought and thousands of deaths…All to get their hands on Silveria.

It was that serious, and despite that. They had been attacked multiple times already. So, after all this drama. Silveria had finally found some clues. So, after killing all the demonic beasts in this area and also inside the mountain.

They had arrived in this chamber and were now standing in front of this altar. She was saying that it doesn't resonate? Now what? They shove their frustrations up their ass and walk away?

Silevria didn't react to their words or expressions; she observed the bracelet more carefully. And finally opened her mouth.

"This artifact doesn't feel right," she said, "The aura around it is way too evil."

Silveria frowned; her grandfather had indeed given her some information about the realm. But it didn't specify the location. He just said,

"The inheritance lies within a region where life energy is most densely concentrated."

But this…was something else entirely.

Clap Clap Clap

"I wouldn't touch that if I were you." A husky, masculine voice echoed throughout the room.

Silveria froze, and the rest of the cultivators stood up in horror, too. Her body reacted before her mind could process. She stepped back, placing herself between the altar.

"Who's there!?" one of the Origin Realm cultivators barked, his voice shaking a bit. The main reason they were alerted was that their [Mana Sense] hadn't detected any presence, and even now, they were unable to see that being's face.

From the darkness near the entrance, a tall figure emerged barefoot, his steps soundless against the stone floor. His black hair fell loosely over his shoulder, and a small, lazy smile shadowed his face. His eyes were a deep, dark violet and unfathomable.

Silveria gasped a bit when she saw his face. It was…HE was simply different. His mere presence itself messed up her brain signals, jamming her thinking process.

Although she had seen her fair share of handsome men, but now seeing this guy's face.

Slowly, he stepped towards Silveria. None of the Origin Realm cultivators dared move; they could feel it. This man was dangerous.

Their gazes were wary and alert, but the man ignored them. He simply walked towards Silveria. Standing a few meters away, he looked at her, and he let out a chuckle.

"You really look like her," he said, but the moment Silveria heard those words, she frowned in confusion.

"Are you talking about me?" Silveria asked, his voice laced with suspicion.

"Do you see any other woman here?"

"...No?"

"Then yes, I'm talking to you, you nincompoop," Rahu smirked, and even before she could respond, the Origin Realm cultivator standing beside her stepped forward, his aura flaring.

"You bastard! Who do you think you are to speak to our young miss like that?!" His aura pressed down, shaking the air. The other two nodded, if this wasn't plain disrespect—what was?

Rahu just shook his head, turning towards the frowning Silveria. Rahu smiled, completely ignoring the Origin Realm cultivators.

"Stand down," Silveria raised her hand and spoke calmly; she didn't seem all that affected by his insult.

Turning towards Rahu, she opened her mouth. "Who are you? And what did you mean by 'I wouldn't touch that?'"

She asked, glancing at him. Her eyes were sharp, her expression screaming for an answer.

"Well, since you are the one asking this, I suppose I could share it with you. When you touch that bracelet, your cultivation will be sealed, and your mana will be corrupted." Rahu shook his head and sighed. Of course, this was bullshit. Honestly, he was a bit surprised to find this bracelet here; it was eerily similar to the bracelet he owned.

"What? Corrupted!? Y-Young, miss you should stay a bit away from that!!" One of the Origin Realm cultivators instantly shouted in alarm.

But his words fell on deaf ears as Silveria's eyes twitched. Turning towards her retainer, she spoke, "You fool, how could you believe a stranger's words? Next, he tells you that this thing leads us to inheritance, would you believe that too?"

"T-This…" His head hung low in shame; he silently glared at Rahu.

"Hahaha! I take my words back! You are nothing like my dumb little peach. It seems your House has trained you well!" Rahu burst into laughter, and Silveria's frown deepened as she heard those words again.

"For the last time, who are you talking about?"

Hearing her words, Rahu smirked. "It is…of course your little sister!"
