When Kate arrived, Michael had just completed pushing the interior design skill to the expert level.
Of course, he had started very early in the morning, considering that there were recently a lot of things to be done during the day.
The two of them left together, with Michael driving the Koenigsegg Regera.
He did not drive the Audi, as this time, they were going to a high end residential district. So, it would not be much of a surprise if such a vehicle appeared.
Additionally, he just liked the thrill of driving this car. So, if there was an opportunity for him to drive, he would not let it go.
The Riverside residential district was located in the northern side of the city.
Using the car's navigation, Michael was able to easily find the residential community.
When they reached the entrance of the community, they were stopped. This surprised Michael slightly, as despite how high end the car that he was driving was, they were still stopped by the security.
"Non-residents are not allowed into the community. In case you have been invited by a resident, you have to be escorted inside by the resident themselves." One of the security guards said as soon as the car stopped.
As expected of a high-end residential community. They would not allow just anybody inside.
Michael did not respond, but it was Kate who rolled down the passenger's window, before she showed a card. That was the card that was given to every resident within the community.
Apart from the main card that was given to the owner, under whose name the Villa ownership was registered, there were other cards that were given to the other residents.
It was to be expected, considering that a person might buy a villa in this community, and move in with an entire family.
So, those family members would receive those minor cards, which they would have to show before entering into the community.
One might think that the cards could be stolen, then they could be used for access, but that was not the case.
Each card was registered with the name and the face of the person who received the card. So, it was impossible for someone to use another person's card in order to enter into the community.
One of the security guards used a device to scan the card, and after confirming the details presented, he allowed the car into the community.
Each villa inside this community had a courtyard of its own, with a low perimeter wall surrounding it.
This was for privacy, to allow people to be able to do their own things without being affected by their neighbors.
Villa number 5 was located quite deep into the residential community. The lower the number of the villa, the deeper into the community it was located.
Additionally, the lower the number of the villa, the better and more expensive it was.
Looking at how beautiful the villas looked, and the tranquil environment of the residential community, Michael thought about moving here.
At the same time, he thought about Adrian and the others, especially Damian. Damian would be the face of most of his future businesses, indicating that he would hold a high position.
With his status, it did not seem fitting for him to stay within the apartment that they were in at the moment.
He was not the only one, even Adrian. But, since Adrian was his personal assistant, they could live together in the same villa.
As for Lucas, he could also move into the same villa as well.
In the future, more bio humans would be bought from the system, and some of them would hold high positions.
A good example was Christine and Lauren, who would hold high positions within the R&D department of Sky Technologies.
It would not be befitting of their status to stay within such an apartment. Even though the apartment itself did not look old, and was quite good, it was not suitable.
Thinking about this, Michael decided that he would inform Adrian to purchase villas. If they could buy a few villas, that would be good.
Michael had no intention of using SP in order to purchase the villas. That would be a waste. Instead, it would be better to use money to purchase villas.
After all, the villas did not necessarily need to be within Riverside residential community. So, the money that was already available could be used for that.
Additionally, Adrian had already began earning from the stock market. So, in the future, the issue concerning money would not be much of a problem.
While he was thinking about that, the two of them arrived at villa number 5. Since Kate had the villa's card, which was given to her by Charles during her first visit, she was able to easily access the villa.
The two of them then began touring the place. Even though this was not the first time that Kate was here, she was still mesmerized by this place anyway.
Previously, she had tried asking her grandpa to give the villa to her, even if she just had to stay here. But unfortunately, Charles refused.
And now, he had already given it to Michael, making it impossible for her to be able to get it.
Villa number 5 was surrounded by trimmed hedges and tall shade trees. The house rose three floors, its pale stone walls catching the midday light, giving it a dignified presence.
Inside, the villa held six bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, along with a spacious living hall and a family lounge on the second floor.
The kitchen had been designed with clean lines and modern fittings, opening into a small dining area used for casual meals. The main dining room and a private study occupied the ground floor, arranged neatly around the central staircase.
Behind the villa, a medium-sized swimming pool stretched alongside a wooden deck, paired with a small garden and a shaded seating area.
A gym room and an entertainment room had been placed on the third floor, offering wide views of the city's distant skyline.
Nothing inside felt overly extravagant, yet every part of the villa carried a sense of luxury.
Michael, after touring the place, he really liked the villa. As compared to his apartment, this place seemed to be quite more comfortable to stay.
At least, in this summer, if he was tired of the high temperatures, he could just dip himself into the swimming pool.
This place was also quiet, and at night, he could observe the city in the distance. While the residential community was not closer to the city center, but even then, it was located at a high place.
So, on the third floor of the villa, it was easy for someone to be able to see the city lights at night.
Decisively, Michael decided that he would stay here. So, he contacted Adrian, asking him to prepare to move here.
As for the apartment building, considering that most of the bio humans that he would be purchasing would hold high positions, it seemed he had wasted SP to purchase the building.
Still, he decided to rent out most of the units of the apartment. Though, he would still maintain the three units vacancy policy, just in case in the future, he bought bio humans, who did not necessarily need to live in villas.
After informing Adrian, Michael and Kate stayed in the villa's entertainment room.
The entertainment room had different forms of entertainment, including pool games, arcades, and several other types of games for entertainment.
The two of them tried almost each game, with Michael winning every game.
After all, with him already exceeding the human potential, it was impossible for Kate, who had not even reached the limit of the human potential, to be able to compete against him.
Kate, upon losing every game to Michael, was left so much frustrated. No matter what game they played, she always ended up losing.
It might be true that she was so much focused on her career, but before joining the police academy, she had played different types of games.
Even now, during the time that she was not on duty, she would occasionally visit entertainment venues that had such games.
"Are you intentionally messing with me? In fact, are you even human? How is it possible that you can win every game?" Kate asked in a frustrated tone as she looked at Michael.
She had the impulse of beating this guy up. After all, how embarrassing was it to brag to someone, only to be utterly defeated by that person?
The thing that irritated her the most was that, for almost each game, Michael claimed that this was the first time that he was playing.
Then, he would 'pretend' to be an amateur at the start, and as the game progressed, he would suddenly become very professional, playing like a skilled player who had played for years.
Was he not just messing with her like this? How could she not get frustrated by this?
"Of course, I am an alien." Michael responded.
"Hmph!" Kate snorted in response, obviously not believing what Michael had said.
Having already broken the limits of what the human body could be regarded as, Michael was not really sure if he was still human or not.
But, considering that he looked like a human, most probably, he was just an enhanced version of a human. But still, with his abilities, he could be considered to be an alien, especially due to the presence of the system.
"Okay, let's go. I'm going to freeload on free lunch from your place again." Kate said as she led the way out of the villa.
