Michael drove the Koenigsegg Regera into the underground parking of the apartment building.

They had come directly from the Riverside residential community.

As he looked towards them, Kate immediately felt that this person was not simple.

Having already met with different types of people in her career as a police officer, even though it had not been long, she had already gotten kind of used to reading people by their appearance.

Just by looking at this person, she could tell that he was not a simple character. But from the fact that he was acting so subservient behind the young man, it was clear that he was a subordinate.

What caught Kate's attention was the young man. She could recognize this person, as she had already looked at his information the day before.

He was none other than David Kingsley. He was the person that she was supposed to be engaged to.

The previous day, when she was informed that he was the partner that she was supposed to get engaged to, when she went back, she did her investigation.

The previous information that she had, it was all from rumors, but she had never attempted digging too deep into this issue.

David, upon noticing how Michael was looking at him, suddenly felt infuriated.

"Good. You have guts. I don't know how you managed to convince that old man to change his mind, to the extent that he is willing to cut ties with our Kingsley family, but I'm not going to talk about that.

But there is one mistake that you did, that is to covet my woman. Just for that mistake, you deserve death.

Any woman that I set my eyes on, I always get. And anyone that tries to get in the way, I will make them disappear." David said in a chilling voice.
