It was only when Carol stopped singing and asked the question that the guy who had just spoken realized that he had spoken out loud.

Due to the music, he had no other choice but to speak in a high voice. But coincidentally, the time that he spoke, it was the exact time that there was a breakdown in the music.

It was a section where the bass dropped out and the song striped down to softer instruments and atmosphere, just after the chorus.

Facing Carol who was glaring at him, he realized that he had misspoke. At least, he should have said this after she had left.

"Fine! Since that is the case, then why do you need me to perform? Just ask that Michael, to come and perform for you. I'm leaving." Carol did not have the intention of arguing with the young master that had just spoken.

She understood, despite her popularity, that did not mean much in front of money. After all, many people had influence and power.
