At Kate's question, Michael contemplated for a moment, before he said, "Not a problem. But the frequency of that will be quite low, as I might not be free so often."

With the determination of increasing his net worth, making him the richest person in the world, or even dominating the technological industry, he would need to put in a lot of effort.

While the effort might not involve him directly managing the businesses and so on, he still needed to acquire SP.

She suddenly asked, "What? Are you planning on leaving your girlfriend behind when leaving? That's not how it works. Since the two of you are quite young, you need to bond more. Spend more time together, get to know each other better."

Rebecca's words dumbfounded everyone in the room. They all looked at her, not sure what to say for a few seconds.

"Grandma, we are not dating. We are just friends." Michael suddenly spoke up, after a moment of speechlessness.

Her words left Michael stunned, while Kate who was just about to explain, was also rendered speechless.

Then, looking at the expression on Michael's face, she almost burst out in laughter. But at the same time, she felt kind of irritated.

Was there something wrong with her that Michael was so eager to prove their relationship? Was she not beautiful enough? Or did she have a poor personality, one that he did not like?

Though, as she looked at him, she wondered, why did he look different? She could not tell what had changed about him, but for some reason, he seemed to be kind of charming...

Michael on the other hand did not know what was going on in Kate's mind.

Instead, he simply looked at Rebecca with a helpless expression on his face.

It was John who came to his rescue at this time as he said, "Alright, stop messing with the kids."

John then looked at Michael and said, "Don't mind her. You guys can go ahead and do what you have to do, if you left anything pending."

"Okay." Michael responded before he looked at Kate and asked, "Are you going? Or are you maybe planning to stay longer?"

"I also need to prepare myself, as I will be on duty at night. So, I guess I will come back another time." Kate responded.

She had almost forgotten about the fact that she would need to be on duty at night. So, she needed to go back and make preparations before time.

The two of them then left the apartment, with John and Rebecca escorting them downstairs.

Watching as Michael's Koenigsegg Regera drove off into the distance, John looked at Rebecca and asked, "You did that on purpose, right?"

"That's right. That kid, I'm afraid that he might not get a good partner, and get one that will only cause him endless trouble.

And this girl, Kate, I thought that she is good. So, maybe if I give them some push, they can get together." Rebecca responded with a smile on her old wrinkled face.

John thought about it, realizing that it made sense. They all cared about Michael, from the first day that he joined the orphanage. And, just from what he had done for them, they were not willing to see him suffer.

From their observation, they thought that Kate was not a bad option. It was not just about her appearance, but she seemed to be kind.

After all, even without knowing much about Michael and the wealth that he possessed, she was willing to risk a fight with the gangsters in order to save them from the shadow assembly.

Just from that, they thought that she was a nice person. And so far, they had not noticed any fault at her personality.

"Okay, let's try that a few more times. Let's see if the two of them can get together. But if it doesn't work, then just don't force things." John said as he turned around to enter into the apartment building.
