Chapter 63: Dungeon Devil Netheworld Void Physique

A line of words appeared in front of Arthur's sight the moment he cleared it completely.

[Congratulations on clearing 100 dungeons. You have received a unique title: 'Dungeon Devil']

[Title: Dungeon Devil]

[Effects: Increases the quality of loot dropped. Increases the effectiveness of skills against dungeon creatures. Creates a slight karmic connection with dungeon creatures…]

Arthur read through the information slowly, his gaze lingering on each line as he pondered thoughtfully.

A strange energy washed over his body, subtle yet unmistakable. It seeped into his bones and blood, leaving behind a faint tremor that refused to fade. At the same time, he could vaguely feel a mysterious connection forming, an invisible thread linking him to a

… particular entity.

Arthur didn't know why, but instinct told him this entity was either the creator of the dungeons or something that had played a direct role in their creation.

'Damn, system. Why are you making an entity like that sense my presence?' Arthur felt momentarily speechless.

Did the system not understand how dangerous this could be for him?

Frowning slightly, he pushed down the unease settling in his heart and shifted his focus to the next line of words.

[Please note: By gaining the unique title 'Dungeon Devil', you can now obtain one unique skill from any of your summons.]

Arthur froze.

Then his eyes lit up instantly.

That was simply amazing.

A sharp gleam flashed through his pupils as countless thoughts surged into his mind, colliding and overlapping as he pondered what choice to make.

His thoughts drifted first to Titan, then to the little fox, and finally to Nephis.

Nephis didn't possess many skills yet, and Arthur had no intention of adopting a passive, assassin-style role. With some regret tugging at his chest, he ruled her out.

Then there was the little fox.

Her unique ability allowed her to retrieve something from anywhere, completely ignoring distance and time.

Arthur wanted that skill. Badly.

But hesitation crept in, and his thoughts shifted back to Titan.

He was still in the early stages of being a player. There was a strong possibility he would gain more titles in the future, ones that could grant even greater benefits.

The little fox's skill was extraordinary, but it lacked both offensive and defensive capabilities. In moments where danger was overwhelming, it would offer convenience, not survival.

Arthur needed something that could keep him alive.

Turning his focus fully to Titan, his heart flickered with deep contemplation.

There were two abilities he desired most from Titan.

Time.

And space.

'If I take the time element now, I won't even be able to use it,' Arthur reasoned silently. 'It's too deadly. And according to the system, activating it could alert unknown, terrifying forces.'

Reluctance welled up within him, heavy and bitter. Yet choosing a skill he couldn't safely use would only harm him in the long run.

With a quiet exhale, Arthur forced himself to shelve the time element.

For now.

He knew, deep in his heart, that one day he would grow strong enough to wield time itself without fearing the consequences.

That day just wasn't today.

In the end, only one option remained.

Arthur didn't hesitate any longer.

'System, I choose the space element.'

The system responded immediately.

Light burst forth, enveloping Arthur as a strange, unfamiliar energy surged into his body. It flowed through his veins, wrapped around his nerves, and settled deep within his core.

At the same time, his connection to the surrounding space deepened exponentially.

Arthur could sense it.

The air.

The ground.

The very fabric of space within a few meters of him.

He turned slowly, feeling the world around him shift in response to his will.

Curious, Arthur reached out instinctively, guiding his newfound spatial connection.

His perception warped.

The world twisted.

His body lurched violently before vanishing from its original position.

In the next instant, Arthur reappeared several meters away.

He froze.

Dumbfounded, he glanced around with a slight frown etched onto his face.

'This…'

Arthur was completely speechless.

Titan stared at him.

Immediately, the golden light in Titan's eyes sharpened, narrowing with startling intensity.

It was just like before.

Just as Arthur had once comprehended the fire element, he had now learned the space element directly from him.

A reverent expression surfaced on Titan's face as he looked at his master, respect blooming from the very bottom of his heart.

"Master… you…"

Nephis was no less stunned.

The moment Arthur used the spatial movement skill that came with the space element technique, she froze in place.

Her gaze flicked to Titan, then back to Arthur, her eyes wide with unrestrained curiosity.

Arthur turned to her, a faintly smug smile tugging at his lips.

"Impressive, right?"

Nephis clasped her hands together, her expression lighting up like that of an excited child.

"Congratulations, master! You've grown stronger once more!"

Arthur felt a surge of pride swell within his chest at her words.

He glanced at Titan and offered him a smooth smile.

Titan merely shrugged and looked away.

Though a hint of acknowledgment flickered across his face, he chose not to voice his praise.

Arthur didn't mind.

He knew.

Suddenly remembering that there was more information he hadn't reviewed yet, Arthur summoned the system panel once again.

A new line of text appeared before his eyes.

[Congratulations! Your Third Calamity has reached Level 15 and is awakening her Physique…]

'Damn.' Arthur muttered internally, excitement thrumming through his veins.

He turned toward Nephis, his gaze filled with expectation.

In the next moment, Nephis stiffened.

Her expression shifted as a mysterious change swept over her body.

[Congratulations! Your calamity has awakened the Netherworld Void Physique. She can now unleash immaterial attacks that directly annihilate the soul, leaving no physical trace of assassination.]

Arthur's breath hitched.

Gobsmacked, he turned to Nephis just as a faint, ethereal glow began to materialize around her.

Her eyes shimmered with an unfamiliar emotion as streams of foreign knowledge poured into her mind.

Without realizing it, her physique subtly transformed. Her curves became more defined, her presence more striking, and her beauty elevated to an almost overwhelming degree.

Before, Nephis had already been enchanting.

Now, she was nearly irresistible.

Arthur found himself staring blankly at her, his thoughts dissolving into incoherence.

Nephis took a moment to acclimate to the changes in her body.

With no enemies to test her newly awakened power on, she turned toward Arthur, a radiant smile spreading across her face.

"Master! I've awakened my own physique!"

Her voice trembled with excitement.

She had waited for this moment for a very long time.

Without hesitation, Nephis rushed forward, throwing herself into Arthur's arms as she thanked him repeatedly.

Arthur felt her soft form press against him, and in his half-dazed state, his thoughts tangled into a chaotic mess.

Nephis leaned in, planting a gentle kiss on his cheek before looking up into his eyes.

"Thank you for your help, master."

Arthur forced himself to regain his composure.

"It's nothing," he said softly. "It's what I should do as—"

Before he could finish, Nephis pressed her lips against his.

Arthur's eyes widened.

Then he relaxed.

Within moments, he responded, deepening the kiss as they shared a brief but intense exchange.

After a few seconds, Nephis pulled away, leaving Arthur wanting more.

"This is just a small sign of my appreciation, master," she whispered, her voice low and sultry as warmth surged through his body.

Arthur smiled warmly at her.

"Your appreciation tastes lovely."

Nephis' face flushed crimson at his teasing words.

Shyly, she glanced toward Titan, who was watching silently with his golden eyes devoid of emotion.

Arthur cleared his throat.

"Since we're finished here, let's return to the outside world. We've cleared all the dungeons, so our next destination is the wasteland."

His tone grew solemn near the end.

"The journey ahead will be extremely perilous. I want both of you to prioritize your safety above everything else."

Titan's eyes flickered with unwavering obedience.

Nephis straightened immediately.

"Yes, master."
