The glow around Ariella's body intensified sharply as we shot towards each other, before I manifested Ravage as I closed in on her, sending the jaws of energy zipping out towards her.

She swiftly halted and sprang back as the jaws snapped at her, narrowly evading them before she shot across to my left and charged in.

As I began to turn Ravage towards her, she suddenly came to a stop and stomped on the floor, triggering an intense, fiery blast of heat, before lunging at me as the blast knocked me off-balance.

She ducked under Ravage and drove her left fist towards my stomach, right as I split Ravage into Devour and Drain, snapping at her head with Devour as Drain expanded in front of her arm.

She swiftly lowered her head to evade Devour as the jaws snapped shut, the fiery glow around her arm fading as she drove it through Drain before her fist slammed against the left side of my face.

I tasted blood in my mouth as my head jerked across to the right, before I slashed at her arm, inflicting a long but shallow cut across the back of her forearm as she pulled her arm back.

The fiery glow returned around her arm before she sprang back as I combined Devour and Drain into Ravage again, snapping the jaws at her throat.

"<Void>," I chanted, combining the jaws of energy more thoroughly, creating a black hole.

Her feet skidded forward as she tried to resist it, before she stumbled as I abruptly deactivated it and shot towards her, chanting to manifest Drain.

The white jaws of energy snapped at her neck as I closed in on her, the glow around the front of her neck fading before I unfurled a rapid slash across towards her neck.

A small cut appeared across her skin as she quickly leaned back, before springing up and whipping her right foot across at my head.

I ducked under it, before leaping back as she swung her left heel down at the top of my head, the sole of her boot grazing the tip of my nose before I swiftly expanded Drain around her legs, the fiery glow disappearing before I whipped my blade up and across while she was still airborne.

She gasped in pain as my blade sliced across the back of her left calf, blood pouring out before evaporating from the heat her body was generating, as she suddenly raised her hands up and unleashed intense bursts of flames from her palms, her feet slamming onto the floor of the arena and triggering a searing shockwave.

The force sent me stumbling back, before I quickly lowered my blade defensively as she leapt forward and drove her left fist forward with immense speed, a burst of flames erupting from behind her elbow as she drove her arm towards the middle of my body rapidly.

A sharp clang rang out as her fist slammed onto the edge of my blade, which began to slice into the spot between her knuckles, before a fiery explosion erupted out and blasted me away, right as I manifested Ravage and snapped at her head with the combined jaws of energy.

She tilted her head across while twisting her body as fast as she could, gasping sharply as the jaws tore through the top of her right shoulder, ripping her skin to shreds.

I found myself hurtling back through the air at an alarming speed, my back slamming onto the barrier behind me before I collapsed onto my knees, Desecrator falling out of my grasp and hitting the floor with a sharp clatter.

As I shakily got back onto my feet and picked my blade back up, I glanced up to see Ariella struggling to stay standing herself, as I stumbled slightly and coughed out blood, waves of pain flowing out from the middle of my torso.

Her right arm was slumped to her side, trembling in pain from the deep wound on her shoulder, a lot of steam rising up around that spot from the vaporized blood.

Her left leg was shaking too, I cut through her calf quite deeply, she likely can't put too much weight on it without being wracked with pain.

There was steam flowing out of her left fist, from the spot between her knuckles, where she's struck my blade with.

As for me, while I had managed to block that last strike, my blade couldn't fully absorb the impact of the blast, the force traveled through the blade and struck the middle of my body.

And the impact rattled my right arm too, I can't exert much strength in my hand, it's hard to maintain a strong grip over my blade.

"Looks like we're both reaching our limit, huh? In that case, I'll put an end to this with one final attack! I'll hit you with everything I've got!" She exclaimed, drawing back her left fist as I tossed my blade back to my left hand and raised it up defensively.

Flames erupted around her fist as the fiery glow around her entire body intensified sharply, the flames swirling around her arm rapidly as the air behind her heels and shoulders began shimmering.

Suddenly, an immense burst of flames erupted behind her, as she launched herself through the air at an alarming speed, zipping towards me and starting to close in in the blink of an eye.

"<Ravage>," I swiftly chanted, raising the jaws in front of myself and expanding them.

Suddenly, she unleashed a burst of flames from her right side, her body zooming across to my right, before she twisted her body across and fired out another burst of flames from her back, shooting herself straight towards my right.

"[High Accel FLAME LANCE]!!!" She yelled as she drove her arm towards me with immense speed, too fast to dodge.

I raised my right hand up as fast as I could, the concentrated flames piercing through my palm and boring in as it burst through the part of my gauntlet over my palm, scorching through my wrist and getting lodged halfway into my forearm, my skin rupturing and burning as the heat charred my flesh and bones, the stench of burnt flesh bursting out as streaks of black smoke billowed through the ruptured spots across my skin.

The flames then began to fade, the fiery glow across her skin flickering before fading completely, her hair going back to normal and the bright glow of her eyes dimming, the effect of her Blaze Ignition Skill wearing off.

She stiffened at the sight of her hand jammed through my mangled hand, wrist and forearm, right as Ravage zipped up behind the back of her head.

"It's over," I remarked, slashing at her throat while simultaneously snapping the jaws of Ravage at her head from behind.

She began to pull her arm back, but she could hardly muster up any strength, a deeply fatigued look in her eyes, right before she vanished from sight...
