A shimmering pink mist erupted around the Demon, a sweet fragrance filling the air as the mist spread throughout the cage. But it had no effect on either Aria or me, we were both immune to it.

Her Status Effect Immunity Skill includes poison and toxins, and the passives from my Pride and Gluttony Classes make me immune too.

<This mist seems to have a similar effect to Aphrodisia, only much, much stronger>

I see...yeah, it'd be real bad if we got affected by that.

"Hm? No effect, huh? What a shame, you could have died in the height of ecstasy, enduring no pain whatsoever," Sighed the Demon, before firing out a rapid blast of dark energy towards us.

I swiftly stepped forward and consumed the blast with Drain, before Aria shot forward, flames roaring around her fists.

"[Quadruple Flame Strike]!" She exclaimed, the flames around her firsts intensifying as she closed in on the Demon.

She lunged forward and unfurled a rapid flurry of four blazing strikes, the Demon evading the first three before grabbing Aria's forearm as she drove her right fist forward, halting her fourth strike in its tracks.

"Far too slow," She smirked, starting to extent her claws before quickly letting go and zipping up into the air as I raced forward and fired out a Pulse Bullet at her.

As she evaded it, she fired out a Negative Energy blast at me, which I swallowed up with Drain before firing another Pulse Bullet at her, but she dodged it with ease.

"Damn it...," I muttered, as Aria backed away several paces, coming to a stop beside me.

"She's way too fast," She remarked with a frown.

"You must realize by now that you cannot defeat me...so why not accept your fate?" Suggested the Demon, before adding as she glanced at me, "Comply and I shall give you the greatest pleasure you have ever experienced.

I know human males find me quite appealing...my breasts are far larger than your friend's are, would you not like to ravage them?"

Tempting, but no.

"Hey, Kai, she's really pissing me off. Let's turn things up a notch and kill her," Growled Aria, her eyebrow twitching in irritation.

"Yeah, sounds good."

"Alright, then...," Muttered Aria, as the Demon began to take aim at her with a dark energy blast, before chanting, "[Blaze Ignition]!"

"<Enrage>," I chanted, while raising Drain in front of Aria as the Demon unleashed a devastating blast of Negative Energy, swallowing it up before it could hit her.

A fierce burst of heat and purple energy erupted around the two of us as we unleashed our Skills, a fiery glow gleaming across Aria's entire body as her hair tranformed into roaring flames, purple energy swirling around me as the sense of still calm washed over me.

"Huh? What is this? How have your Auras grown larger?" Frowned the Demon, backing away warily.

"<Command: Get Over Here>," I chanted, her eyes widening as she found herself flying towards us.

"Wh-What...?!"

"Ohh, nice! I'll kill her in one shot! [High Accel Flame Lance]!" Exclaimed Aria, drawing back her right fist as flames erupted around her forearm, swirling and intensifying as it took shape.

"I'll make it easier...<Lethargy>, <Spite>," I chanted as the Demon flew in within range of my debuff Skills, clear panic in her eyes.

"Now, take THIS!!!" Yelled Aria, stepping forward and driving her arm straight towards the Demon's solar plexus with a sharp burst of speed, aiming to pierce her Core.

At the last split second, the Demon broke free of the effect of Command and twisted her body across, crying out sharply as Aria's searing attack pierced straight through the left side of her body, scorching through her flesh before I swiftly shot towards the Demon and leapt forward.

She tilted her head across in alarm as I drove my blade towards the spot between her eyes with a rapid, twisting thrust of my arm, the edge of my blade slicing across her left eye as she gasped in pain, before letting out a strained, agonized wheeze as I slammed my left palm against the middle of her torso and unleashed Mana Pulse at full power.

She convulsed violently and coughed out blood, before gritting her teeth and shakily whipping her claws out at us.

Aria quickly pulled her arm back out as I sprang back, a shallow graze across the bridge of my nose as Aria sustained a small cut across her forearm.

The Demon quickly and shakily flew back as she healed her injuries, struggling to try and catch her breath as she trembled in agony.

It's no use.

Even once she fully heals, the damage from Mana Pulse won't fade as fast, she'll be weaker and slower than she was before.

"This battle is over. Surrender and your death shall be quick and painless, that'd be the fastest and most logical way to conclude this fight," I remarked, as the Demon wiped the blood off her face with a grimace.

"Don't get cocky, human. I will not be defeated so easily!" She snarled, before unleashing a barrage of unstable, volatile Negative Energy blasts all around the space...hm, despite the instability, her aim and accuracy haven't been affected too much.

I stepped out in front of Aria and used Drain to swallow up the blasts, before lifting my gaze as the Demon shot up into the air and swooped down towards me with immense speed.

She fired out a couple of Negative Energy blasts at me, which I swallowed up with Drain, my gaze swiftly shifting across to the left as she shot down and zipped in from that direction.

She fired out a piercing beam of Negative Energy at Aria, forcing her to back away, before she unleashed a rapid, slashing wave of Negative Energy towards me as she began to close in.

I ducked under the wave before spinning across as she drove her claws towards me with a fierce roar, her fingers getting split in half as I blocked the thrust of her claws with the edge of my blade, her claws snapping off before my blade sliced right through the middle of her fingers.

Suddenly, she snapped her head forward and chomped down on my forearm, digging her fangs in before raising her other hand towards my stomach as I manifested Ravage and expanded it over her head.

I tensed my abdomen as she fired out a powerful Negative Energy blast, hitting my stomach with sharp twinges of pain upon impact and sending me hurtling back, the fangs of Ravage ripping a few shreds of skin off her forehead as I narrowly missed tearing her head off.

I drove my blade down and jammed it into the ground to bring myself a halt, as Aria shot towards the Demon with intense heat shimmering around her, the Demon flying up to get some distance and catch her breath, getting out of Aria's reach.

Hm, my stomach is in a fair bit of pain, it'll likely restrict my movements a bit, it feels like the lower part of my ribcage is badly fractured too. This won't be easy...
