I raced across as the Demon unleashed a barrage of Negative Energy blasts down towards me, narrowly evading the attacks as they veered around unpredictably, before the Demon swooped down towards Aria, snapping her jaws open and unleashing a swirling cannon of Negative Energy towards her from her mouth.

Aria sprang off to her right, evading the large beam of energy, which hit the ground and drilled into the dirt, right as the Demon closed in on her and whipped her claws across.

Aria raised her right arm up defensively, the Demon's claws slicing through her gauntlet and cutting into her skin...before her arm suddenly got blown back as an intense, fiery burst erupted out, shattering the Demon's claws.

The Demon quickly ducked as Aria whipped the back of her right fist towards the Demon's head, who narrowly evaded the strike before driving her tail out towards Aria's stomach.

As the tip of her tail began to press into the middle of Aria's abdomen, it suddenly got blown back as a fiery eruption burst out, the Demon's eyes widening as she realized she couldn't hit Aria without getting hit herself.

She quickly flew back as Aria lunged at her, before Aria hurriedly crossed her arms in front of herself as the Demon unleashed a concentrated blast of Negative Energy at her.

An intense explosion of heat and Negative Energy burst out as Aria got sent flying back through the air as the blast slammed onto her arms, triggering an erupting shockwave upon impact.

The force blew her away, the Demon stumbling back before spreading out her wings to maintain her balance, right as I sprang up behind her and slashed at the back of her neck.

She stiffened for an instant before quickly flying forward, a shallow cut appearing across her nape before she spun around and fired out a swirling blast at me.

I swallowed it up with Drain before leaping forward and whipping my blade across, slicing across her eyes before she could react, a sharp cry of pain ringing out before I sent Ravage shooting out towards her head.

Suddenly, a dark, shadowy glow shone out across her entire body, before she unleashed an intense shockwave of Negative Energy, pushing me back several meters across the space, my feet coming to a skidding halt across the ground.

She lifted her head as her right eye regenerated, immense rage gleaming in it as she began to charge up a Negative Energy blast, before rapidly spinning around as Aria zipped in behind her, another Flame Lance charged up.

She drove it towards the Demon's head as the Demon simultaneously fired out the charged-up energy, hitting the middle of Aria's torso and triggering another fiery explosion, right as Aria's Flame Lance Skill burst straight into the lower half of the Demon's face, a muffled scream of pain ringing out before the Flame Lance got wrenched out as she blasted Aria away.

The Demon went spiraling through the air from the force triggered by her blast and Aria's explosive flames, before she brought herself to a halt by sharply spreading out her wings, smoke billowing out of the lower half of her face.

As Aria crashed onto the wall of the cage and collapsed onto her hands and knees, the Demon turned this way as I shot towards her from behind, a gaping, scorched hole where her mouth and nose were, the exposed flesh smoking and crackling.

She fired a rapid, piercing beam of Negative Energy at my face, grazing my right cheek as I tilted my head across, before chanting as I closed in and leapt forward...

"<Aphrodisia>."

Her eyes widened as her face flushed slightly, looking a bit disoriented...since she has High Status Effect Resistance, my debuffs are only half as effective as they would normally be.

But that's more than enough, all I need is one opening...

I grabbed her ankle as she began to fly up, tightening my grip before swinging her down with all my strength, her back slamming onto the ground with immense force, bits of dirt and grass flying out upon impact.

Before she could recover, I drove my blade down with a fierce thrust of my arm, piercing through her neck before giving the blade a sharp, violent twist, tearing her throat apart before slamming my palm against her solar plexus and hitting her with Mana Pulse again.

She shuddered in agony as she slumped against the dirt, the regeneration of the lower half of her face slowing down significantly, a helpless look in her eyes as she lifted her gaze, to see the jaws of Ravage expanding around her head, before snapping shut as she frantically began to try and scramble away.

Her body went limp as I tore her head clean off her shoulders, blood gushing out of the stump left around her neck, forming a puddle across the grass before slowly seeping into the dirt and-...

A burst of energy erupted out of the Demon's corpse, before gathering above the body and swirling around intensely, slowly starting to take shape.

The energy took the form of a feminine humanoid figure with a deep red glow, a mass erupting from the head of the figure and taking a flowing, hair-like appearance, which began gleaming with a dark pink glow.

This energy, it's taking on the appearance of the Greater Demon...

As the energy finished taking shape, a mass of black swirled around the figure, before wrapping around the body, taking the form of a long, sleeveless and shoulderless black dress with a low back and a slit across the left leg, black heels appearing around the figure's feet.

The figure then got down on one knee and lowered her head, bowing before me as I stared in perplexity, unsure what to make of this...
