I crossed my arms in front of myself as Zeifas lunged towards me, faster than I could react, his fist slamming against my arms and sending me hurting back with immense force.

I crashed through several of the fake walls as I got launched through the space, the walls collapsing as I burst through them, before I hit the floor and skidded back.

My arms feel rather sore, I think the bones in my left forearm got fractured, but it could have been a lot worse...seems my Vitality is high enough to at least partially tank that much force.

But I should avoid taking multiple direct hits, the bones in my arms will shatter.

I quickly scrambled back onto my feet as a roaring blast of Negative Energy came barreling towards me, carving out a trail across the floor as it shot forward rapidly.

I narrowly evaded it, before chanting as fast as I could to summon Luxuria and Invidia again, right as Zeifas shot towards me with immense speed.

Invidia turned invisible as Luxuria unleashed a barrage of Negative Energy blasts at Zeifas, who blew them away with a swipe of his arm, unleashing a pressurized burst of Negative Energy, before firing a piercing beam to his left.

Invidia came back into sight as the beam sliced through the middle of his left bicep, his arm falling off and hitting the ground with a thud before dispersing into energy.

He flew up as he generated a new arm made of Negative Energy, before unleashing a barrage of Negative Energy arrows down at Zeifas, who blasted them away with a sharp burst of Negative Energy.

Luxuria and I then shot towards Zeifas, spreading out and zipping in to either side of him, before she unleashed her Bewitching Mist as I simultaneously triggered Aphrodisia.

A disoriented look appeared on the Archdemon's face as he let out a slight gasp and stumbled back, Invidia swooping down rapidly as Luxuria and I began to close in on him.

Luxuria formed a blade of Negative Energy and drove it towards Zeifas's left side, Invidia generating a sharp, narrow spike and plunging it down as I leapt forward and reached for the side of Archdemon's head with my left hand while simultaneously driving my blade towards his Core with my right.

As we converged in on him simultaneously, he grabbed Luxuria's blade with his left hand, pulling her off her feet and flinging her across the space with a sharp flick of his wrist, before raising his right hand and unleashing a concentrated blast of Negative Energy up at Invidia, blowing him away as he caught my right arm with his tail before my blade could reach him, his gaze darting towards me as I clamped my left hand around the side of his head.

"<Mana Pulse>," I chanted, before he suddenly stiffened as his face tensed up, his skin spasming slightly as a thick trickle of blood ran down from his right eye, a disoriented look on his face as he hissed in pain.

As his grip on my left arm weakened, I broke free of his grasp and drove my blade towards the middle of his torso as fast as I could, right as an intense burst of Negative Energy erupted around him, blowing me away.

I managed to maintain my balance, my feet hitting the floor and skidding back, as Invidia and Luxuria flew over and landed on either side of me, a murderous glare on Zeifas's face.

"I do not know what you did to me, but that hurt, you damned human. How vexing, to think that I would need to exert myself against a lower life form. Playtime is over," He growled, wiping away the streak of blood running down from his eye, before a burst of Negative Energy erupted as he suddenly vanished from sight, reappearing right in front of me.

I sprang back as fast as I could, while Luxuria and Invidia simultaneously leapt out in front of me, a ball of Negative Energy forming in Zeifas's hand, before dozens of shadowy spikes erupted out of it, skewering my Apostles and destroying them before they could react.

I rapidly chanted to manifest Void in front of myself as he began to charge in, before I gasped sharply as he unleashed a pressurized blast of Negative Energy that had enough force to resist the powerful pull of Void, hitting my stomach and knocking the wind out of me.

He lunged straight at me as Void faded, grabbing my throat and lifting me up before I could react. I began to swing my blade across at him, before he struck my wrist with the back of his fist, knocking Desecrator out of my grasp.

The blade hit the ground and skidded away, as he tightened his grip around my neck, eliciting a choked gasp from me.

This isn't good, I can't chant like this.

I strained to reach up and grabbed his arm as he steadily continued to tighten his grip, before unleashing several consecutive Mana Pulses, his arm spasming sharply as he winced in pain.

I then struck his wrist as his grip weakened, breaking free with a sharp cough before he whipped his arm across with a snarl, Negative Energy swirling around his hand before erupting fiercely, blasting me away and sending me hurtling across to the left of the space, my shoulder slamming against the wall with a jarring impact.

"<Return>," I chanted as I shakily got back onto my feet, my voice hoarse and scratchy.

Hm, this is bad...I'm feeling light-headed from when he strangled me, I can't focus properly.

"Damn it, this is painful," He growled as he stared at his arm, which was trembling from the multiple Mana Pulses I'd hit it with, before a dark look appeared in his eyes as he narrowed his gaze at me and added, "I will kill you. I WILL KILL YOU!!!"

He let out a vicious roar before charging towards me with immense speed, faster than I could follow in my disoriented state.

He extended out his claws, Negative Energy swirling around them as he closed in and began to drive them towards my throat.

Suddenly, a rapid, concentrated blast of lightning came shooting out and struck him, sending him shooting across to his right and skidding along the floor, before he sprang back onto his feet as he came to a screeching halt, letting out an enraged yell...

"Who dares...?!"

"Sorry to keep you waiting, Kai. Great job hanging in there," Isla greeted me with smile, two figures beside her...
