As the tip of my blade closed in on the Archdemon's solar plexus, I let out a startled gasp as my vision suddenly blurred, losing some of my strength...sh-shit, my time limit with Enrage is up...!

My arm shifted slightly, inadvertently lowering the trajectory of my blade, which pierced through the top of Zeifas's stomach, a violent shudder erupting across his body as the edge of my blade lightly nicked the bottom of his Core, his skin spasming as he let out an excruciating roar of pain.

I gritted my teeth and tried to muster up my strength as I began to drag my blade up, before a sharp wheeze escaped my lips as Zeifas's tail came whipping out and slammed onto my stomach, knocking the wind out of me and sending me flying back through the air.

My left shoulder hit the floor before I skidded back several meters, coming to a sliding halt as I let out a shaky groan, beads of sweat pouring down the sides of my face as I tried to get back onto my feet, struggling to catch my breath.

D-Damn it, I feel like I'm running on fumes...

"I-It hurts...! You...you damned, filthy human, h-how dare you...HOW DARE YOU STRIKE MY CORE?!" Bellowed Zeifas furiously, clutching the middle of his torso as he trembled, trails of saliva running down either corner of his mouth.

"<E-Emerge, Apostles of Lust a-and...and Envy: Lux...Luxuria and...Invidia>...!" I chanted shakily, as Zeifas spread out his wings and shot towards me in a seething rage.

I just barely managed to get back onto my feet as my Apostles appeared before me, firing out a barrage of Negative Energy blasts at Zeifas as he charged towards us.

He canceled our their attacks with intense bursts of Negative Energy, blowing their blasts away before driving his claws through Luxuria's neck as he closed in on her, giving them a sharp twist and ripping her throat apart as he grabbed hold of the top of Invidia's head with his other hand.

Invidia generated a pair of dark blades in his hands, driving them up and plunging them into Zeifas's forearm, right as the Archdemon violently tightened his grip and crushed Invidia's head, destroying him, before tearing Luxuria's head off with a violent jerk of his arm.

"<R-Ravage>!" I chanted and sprang back as he lunged at me and fired a rapid blast of Negative Energy, just barely swallowed it up before he zipped across to my right and charged in.

He ducked as I whipped the jaws of Ravage across towards his head, before swinging my blade down as he drove his claws towards my side, narrowly blocking the attack, before I stiffened as he grabbed my right leg with his tail.

He pulled me off my feet with a sharp tug, my back slamming onto the floor with a jarring impact, before he launched me away with a powerful flick of his tail, hurling me across the space, my left shoulder slamming onto the wall in that direction and getting dislocated upon impact, a sharp twinge of pain erupting across that spot.

H-He's a bit slower than he was before, is it because I damaged his Core? It was barely a scratch, not enough to be fatal, but it still had this much of an effect.

B-But, I...I don't have much left in the tank, I've can feel that I've got a high fever from the backlash of Enrage, and I'm in a whole lot of pain.

I feel both hot and cold, I'm sweating like crazy, which is making it hard to maintain a firm grip on my blade. It's hard to focus too, my head is spinning slightly, my vision's getting blurry, and my ears are ringing.

At this rate, I...I'm going to end up dead. Think, damn it...come on, think! If I...if I don't come up with something right now, I'll die.

"Now...time to die, human," He uttered venomously, spreading out his wings as he took a step in my direction.

C-Come on, think...!

As Zeifas shot towards me, for a moment, it felt like things slowed down, as if everything was moving in slow motion...I was struggling to think clearly thanks to the fever, but my mind was racing at the same time, adrenaline pumping through my veins.

And in that brief moment, an idea hit me.

The thoughts were muddled and jumbled up, I had barely even processed it, let alone think it through. But there was no time, my only option...was to go for it!

"<E-Emerge, Apostle of Envy: Invidia>!" I exclaimed at the top of my lungs as I got back onto my feet, my back braced against the wall behind me as Invidia appeared.

I focused my intent on him, as Zeifas zeroed in rapidly, charging up a Negative Energy blast...

"<Pilfer>!" Chanted Invidia, as he began to sprint forward.

Zeifas's eyes widened as the charged up blast suddenly vanished, before his expression darkened as he put on a sharp burst of speed with a powerful flap of his wings, driving his arms forward and skewering Invidia, before tearing him vertically in half with a gutteral roar of exertion.

As Invidia disappeared, Zeifas narrowed his eyes at me, his tail slamming against the floor before he rushed forward and leapt towards me.

Now!

"<Aphrodisia>! And...," I gritted my teeth as a dazed look appeared on his face, before chanting right as I spotted a fiery blur in my right peripheral, rapidly coming closer, "<Command: Use Demonization>!"

"Wh-Wha-...?" He blurted out, before a sharp, startled gasp rang out as a powerful, blazing force slammed against his left side, the sound of flesh sizzling ringing out as he chanted, "N-No-...[Demonic A-Art: Demonization]...NO!!!"

My vision blurred sharply as I felt an ominous, creeping sensation invade my body, an intense, shooting pain erupting out from head to toe, before everything went dark...
