A swell of power rose up inside me, surging intensely...I could feel an unfamiliar sensation coursing through me, my entire body brimming with it.

I quickly lifted my gaze, to see Zeifas in front of me with a slightly disoriented look on his face, before I swiftly lunged forward, my eyes widening as I generated more speed than I anticipated, before I instinctively channeled the unfamiliar sensation I was feeling as I raised my left hand, a burst of dark energy erupting out of my palm and hitting the Archdemon, blasting him away as he let out a sharp yell.

His back hit the floor before sliding back, a grimace on his face as he shakily began to get back onto his feet.

Did...did I just cast Negative Energy? What-...?

"Thank goodness you're okay, Kai! Also, what was that? I thought I heard a voice in my head. And I feel stronger. A lot stronger."

"Huh? Aria? When'd you get here?" I responded in surprise.

"Just now, actually, the Guildmaster teleported me and-...uh, maybe let's talk later. We've got bigger things to worry about right now," She replied, as she turned her attention to Zeifas.

<He is currently thirty percent weaker than he was a moment ago, seemingly a side effect of using Demonization, but he will likely be restored to full power before long>

"He's in a temporary weakened state, let's make use of it," I informed Aria.

"Huh? Uh, yeah, okay. It's a time crunch either way...I've already used up a lot of Mana, so I can't maintain this for long," She replied, the glow of her body intensifying as she slammed her fists together...looking at how bright the glow is, looks like she's using her full power.

Alright, then...

"<Arouse>," I chanted, triggering my twenty percent boost, before the two of us shot forward.

Zeifas raised his hands towards up, before letting out a frustrated snarl as nothing happened, extending out his claws as we closed in on him.

Invidia's Pilfer is still in effect, we can't let that go to waste!

I veered across to the left as he whipped his claws at my head, inflicting a shallow cut across my right cheek before I lunged forward and whipped my blade across, cutting through his side, blood streaming down as I inflicted a deep gash across his flesh.

I stumbled across as he struck my side with his tail, before a sharp sizzle rang out as Aria struck his left side, a fiery explosion bursting out and sending him stumbling back, before I sprinted and leapt towards him.

I drove my blade towards his head, his arm shooting out and grabbing my throat as the tip of my blade nicked his forehead, before I clamped my left hand around his forearm and unleashed Mana Pulse, before launching my blade into his head with a flick of my wrist, a sharp gasp ringing out as my blade plunged into his skull, before his eyes widened in alarm as I charged up a Negative Energy blast.

He stumbled back as my blast slammed square onto the middle of his face, blood gushing out of his nostrils before he turned across as Aria zipped in towards him, staying low.

As she leapt forward and drove her fist towards his hip, flames swirling around her arm, he narrowly managed to grab her wrist with his tail, before it promptly got repelled off as a fiery burst erupted.

He snarled before whipping his left arm out, striking her head with the back of his fist right as her fist struck his side and erupted with intense flames, knocking him over as she got sent flying back, blood pouring out of her nose.

As she hit the floor and skidded away, Zeifas shakily got back onto his feet before quickly backing away as I shot towards him and slashed at his throat, a shallow cut appearing across the front of his neck before he swung his tail across, striking my right wrist and knocking Desecrator out of my grasp.

As my blade hit the floor with a clatter and skidded away, he began to step towards me before I caught him off-guard as I leapt straight at him, clamping my hands around either side of his head...if he's in a weakened state right now, then this should be a lot more effective...!

"<Mana Pulse>!" I roared as I met his gaze, his right eye exploding as he let out an agonized yell of pain, his face spasming before I quickly twisted my body across as he drove his claws forward, inflicting a deep gash across my right side, before he grabbed my left side with his other hand.

I stiffened in pain as he dug his claws in, before violently jerking his arm across and flinging me away powerfully, tearing out a chunk of my flesh.

Streaks of blood sprayed out as I hit the floor and skidded away, right as Aria shot towards him with immense speed.

The glow around her body was flickering, she must be running low on Mana.

I tried to get back onto my feet as fast as I could, Aria ducking as Zeifas slashed at her head with his claws, leaving himself wide open as she evaded the attack...she reacted instantly, drawing back her fists and unfurling a vicious barrage of devastating, fiery strikes against his torso in rapid succession, a chain of blazing eruptions bursting out before she blew him away, sending him hurtling back through the air as she collapsed onto her knees.

His back slammed onto the wall behind him, a sharp gasp ringing out upon impact, as Aria's Skill wore off, reverting her to her normal state, right as I got back up and shot forward with a grimace, doing my best to ignore the throbbing pain across my sides.

I won't get a better chance than this, and I'm not about to let it go to waste!
