Beatriz took aim and fired out a barrage of sound blasts towards Aarav, who raced across the arena to evade them, weaving across the space and narrowly avoiding any direct hits as the blasts peppered the arena, but the waves of ringing sound that erupted out from each blast were clearly disorienting him.
As he lost his balance slightly and stumbled across with a dazed look on his face, he suddenly blasted himself up into the air with a pressurized burst of blood from below his feet, as a high-pitched sonic burst came shooting towards him.
He narrowly dodged the attack as he launched himself up and over it, before he propelled himself through the air with his blood jets from the soles of his feet, firing out a piercing beam of blood at Beatriz from above as he took aim with his index finger.
She sprinted off to her right to evade it, the beam slicing across the floor of the arena as he chased after her with it, steadily closing in before she launched herself away with a burst of sound from behind herself, right as the beam lost momentum and began to peter out.
Aarav formed a boomerang-shaped bone and hurled it down towards her with a sharp flick of his wrist, the projectile spinning through the air rapidly, straight towards Beatriz's head.
She ducked under it right at the last second, the boomerang brushing her white and black mohawk before zipping past her.
She kept her eye on it as it began to curve back in towards her, before she quickly blew it away with a sonic blast as Aarav extended another rapid bone spike down towards her.
She sprang back as fast as she could, the spike narrowly missing the tip of her right boot and piercing into the floor of the arena, before it rapidly branched out, several smaller spikes extending out across the bone, one of the spikes cutting through the top of her boot and grazing her foot.
As Aarav detached the bone spike from his palm and began to charge up a swirling ball of blood, he stiffened as Beatriz narrowed her gaze at him before she blasted herself straight up towards him with a ringing burst of sound from below her feet, closing in on him in the blink of an eye.
He rapidly extended a bone blade out of his right hand and raised it up defensively as she swung her blade at his head, cracks spreading out across the bone blade as her guitar-shaped blade collided against it with a sharp, ringing impact, Aarav's left eye twitching as blood poured out of his ears, before he bit down on his lower lip and shakily pointed the Mana Orb at the end of his staff towards her stomach.
She quickly launched herself back with a sharp burst of sound, twisting her body across before gasping in pain as a rapid beam of blood inflicted a deep gash across her right side.
Both she and Aarav plummeted, crashing onto the floor of the arena.
Beatriz shakily got back onto her feet and stumbled back as her knees wobbled, but Aarav was barely conscious, his eardrums probably completely destroyed...it's impressive that he didn't get instantly knocked out.
From what I can see, these two have strong healing factors too, but not quite as strong as Jaden's.
Well, it's hard to say for sure with Aarav, since he hasn't sustained any external damage, but the streams of blood trickling out of his ears are slowly but surely slowing down.
As for Beatriz, the cuts and gashes she'd sustained were steadily closing up, about half as fast as Jaden's wounds healed.
Aarav stumbled as he somehow managed to get back onto his feet, before promptly collapsing onto one knees, sweating pouring down his face.
Beatriz was quick to pounce, racing forward while firing out a barrage of sound blasts towards him.
He shakily raised his right hand and fired out a volley of blood blasts, intercepting her sonic projectiles and triggering them before they could reach him.
As she began to close in and leapt forward, her blade vibrating intensely, Aarav fired out a small orb of blood towards her.
She whipped her blade across, striking the orb and starting to bat it away, before it suddenly erupted into a dense, crimson mist, partially obscuring the both of them from the view of the cameras, before a massive amount of blood suddenly erupted out of Aarav's palms.
The blood spread out rapidly before blanketing the space and forming an intensely swirling dome around the two of them.
A few seconds passed, before dozens of bone spikes suddenly erupted out of the blood dome all around it, Beatriz coming into sight outside of the barrier, her eyes wide.
There was blood around her forearms, calves, the middle of her torso and around her neck, but from the look of it, it isn't her blood, she doesn't have any cuts around those spots...I get it, Aarav must have restrained her with blood tendrils or something once he trapped her in that dome.
As the dome fell apart, Aarav came back into sight, with countless long, narrow bone spikes protruding out all around his body, making him look kinda like a porcupine.
The spikes fell off and clattered onto the floor of the arena as he detached them, before sitting down with a weary look on his face, shaking his head before wiping away the blood from his ears.
Impressive, he's adept at all ranges, and his Magic is immensely versatile.
Appraisal showed that he's only developed two Spells in his arsenal, but after seeing him fight, it's clear that those two Spells are pretty damn all-encompassing.
Now, then, it's my turn to fight next, but, uh...as for my opponent...
"So...how am I supposed to fight a passed out drunk?" I inquired in bemusement, as I glanced at Iseul, sprawled across the floor while hugging her empty vodka bottle.
Seriously, what do I do here?
