"Cool, thanks for having us!" Grinned one of them in response.

"U-Um, yeah, th-thank you," Added the other one timidly.

"There's no need to be nervous, just relax," I responded in a friendly, amicable tone.

"O-Oh, no, I-I'm not n-nervous, I-I just have a stutter. W-Well, okay, I-I am pretty n-nervous too, b-but it's mainly the s-stutter. S-Sorry, I know it's a-annoying..."

Hm, seems like her nerves at least partially stem from her insecurity over that stutter. Probably best not to be too pushy with her.

Huh? Those stats...she's that close to her full Potential despite having just graduated? That's beyond impressive.

More importantly, her Spells...everything listed after Grand Barrier Dome are Spells I've never even heard of. Are those...original Spells?

Not only that, I think she's straight-up got all the standard Protector Spells in her arsenal.

She had long auburn hair tied in a thick braid that was over her left shoulder, and long bangs that partially covered her eyes, with couple of curved dark brown streaks around her widow's peak that stuck up over the front of her head.

She had green eyes, a light brown complexion, the bridge of nose was slightly crooked, she had a snaggletooth fang on left side of her upper jaw, protruding over her lower lip, and she was pretty short, with a slender, petite build.

She wore a black scarf wrapped around her neck to hide the lower half of her face, with a baggy blue t-shirt and loose-fitting jeans.

"It looks like you've nearly maxed out your Potential, that's incredible, I...," I remarked, before trailing off as she flinched slightly...hm, she looks tense and anxious.

It isn't just the stutter, she's clearly got some pretty bad social anxiety too.

"I-I, um...yes. A-After I Awakened, m-my parents made me work at m-my Magic and train constantly, th-they wanted to make sure I-I wouldn't embarrass them a-at the Academy...," Iqra stuttered, her gaze darting about as she shifted uncomfortably.

That explains her timid attitude, it sounds like her parents are the type that put a lot of pressure on her, which resulted in her developing a pretty severe case of anxiety. And her stutter probably only made it worse.

"I see, that must have been tough," I responded sympathetically.

"N-No, it's okay...," She shook her head nervously.

"Well, I can at least say this, your efforts paid off. You've worked hard, haven't you?" I smiled, her eyes widening slightly, looking taken aback.

"I-I, um...th-thank you, sir," She mumbled, bowing her head slightly.

"Sure, don't mention it. Developing your own original Spells is no joke, it's extremely rare-...," I began, before trailing off as she tensed and lifted her gaze, a shocked look on her face.

"Wait, what?" Responded the other graduate in surprise.

"H-How did you k-know? I...I kept that a s-secret..."

Oh...crap.

I was planning on saying I heard about it from someone at the Academy, but if she kept it to herself, that explanation isn't going to work.

"Well, at my level, you get to be pretty perceptive. Most people probably wouldn't notice, but there's a slight difference in the Auras of those who've created original Spells or Skills," I lied as I kept a straight face.

"I-I see...y-yeah, I've c-created original Spells, b-but I didn't want attention o-or for anyone to pick on me, s-so...," Iqra trailed off.

"What, you mean like jealous, insecure assholes? Yeah, I had to deal with one of those when I was in the Academy. If you experience anything like that here, make sure to come to me right away," I instructed, before adding as she nodded, "Also, I'd like to see those original Spells in action later, if you're okay with that, of course."

"U-Um, sure, that's f-fine," She replied, easing up slightly.

"Now, then...," I remarked, as I glanced at the other graduate, pausing for a moment before adding as I narrowed my eyes slightly, "Wait...you look kinda familiar."

"Yup, I grew up in the Young Minds orphanage too, but I mostly kept to myself, and I think you did too, so we never talked."

Right, that's where I know him from! His hair is pretty distinct, so it rang a bell.

He had medium-length straight hair that was spiked up at the front, over his forehead. The front of his hair was white, and steadily got darker and darker the further back across his head, the hair on the middle of his head gray, and the hair on the end of back of his head was black.

He had silver eyes, a pale complexion, and he was slightly below my height, with a strong, muscular build.

"Heh, it's no big deal, I just forced my body to get stronger with my Magic," He grinned smugly.
