"Miss Sasha, please take a sit."
Even though the waiter was releasing his aura in a tyrannical way, his voice was still very polite. Weiss accepted his invitation without a single change in her expression and sat down on the couch in front of the man.
"Allow me to introduce myself. I am Shin. Currently there are only three True members of the Conclave present in this branch and I am one of them."
This person named Shin was a peak knight apprentice. And just like Weiss, he was also using some kind of concealment method to hide his aura.
But the quality of this concealment method was not very high. It could only make him to look like a regular person and he could not adjust his power level with it.
Not just that but this method was only useful for someone below the level of an official knight. Any proper knight would be able to see through it without even trying.
Weiss had thought that all the true members of the Seven Heroes Conclave were knights. But it looked like that was not the case. This was why she had not expected this waiter to be a true member.
But after she thought about this a little, it did make a lot of sense for him to be a member. Shin looked to be only 19 or 20 years old and he was already a peak apprentice Knight.
So in terms of talent, he would be considered to be one of the best. So it made sense that the Seven Heroes Conclave would make him a true member.
While Weiss was thinking this, she also introduced herself.
"I am Sasha, from a remote northern territory. I have heard that the Seven Heroes Conclave is the best place for gathering information so I wanted to know what kinds of information I can get here and the price associated with them."
Shin nodded his head after hearing this. Then he started explaining.
"We, the Seven Heroes Conclave can provide the customers with any kind of information that they want. Obviously the cost of common information and rare information is vastly different.
Even if we do not have any information immediately available, we can still investigate and gather that information for the customer after getting a certain amount of advance payment.
As for our rate, it is very varied depending on the quality of the information that you want. It can be as low as a few silver coins but it can also reach as high as several hundreds of gold coins."
Hearing this, Weiss starting thinking some things. Then she spoke up again.
"I want the Seven Heroes Conclave to find several rare gems for me. I can describe how these gems looked but I do not know where they could be found. So, how much a request like this will cost ?"
Weiss wanted to use the large network of the Seven Heroes Conclave to find things that were related to magi.
And by making them to search for a gem, what Weiss was actually trying to find was a mana resonance stone and mana stones. She did not mention only those particular types of stone because it would look less suspicious this way.
"We can create a mission for searching the gems you need and post it in our many branches. For that you need to pay 3 gold coins. As for the price of the gems, you need to negotiate that with the owner directly."
Weiss nodded her head after hearing this and immediately put three gold coins and a paper on the table. The paper had the description of 5 types of gems and the gold coins were obviously the payment for posting this mission.
Shin smiled after seeing this straight forward approch and took the paper and the coins. Then he took a brief glance at the content of the paper and after making sure that the descriptions of the gems were quite detailed, he put them away. Then he said -
"I will make sure that this mission of finding the gems will be posted in most of the branches of the Seven Heroes Conclave. But whenever we found something, we need a way to contact you easily. So I recommend you joining our Seven Heroes Conclave as a regular member."
This was something that Weiss was already planning to do. She was planning to bring this up later on during the conversation but as Shin had brought it up beforehand, Weiss immediately accepted the offer.
Shin then left the room for some time and returned back with a form in hand. Weiss filled it up quickly and immediately was given a small golden card.
Shin told her that Weiss was not given a regular member card but a VIP one. This was only given to people who were considered to be valuable for the Seven Heroes Conclave. Giving this to Weiss showed that Shin was valuing her quite highly.
With this card, Weiss would be able to keep track of her mission in any of the cities that had a branch of the Seven Heroes Conclave. So it was quite a beneficial thing.
The gem searching was not the only task that Weiss had for the Seven Heroes Conclave. She immediately asked Shin about information regarding various ancient families and organisations. Not only from the Brightshine kingdom but from all over the world.
This type of information was quite valuable so Weiss needed to pay a massive amount of 35 gold coins for it. And according to Shin, it was actually a discounted price.
Weiss was obviously a bit distressed about spending this much money, but when she was given almost 40 books and many more documents, she started to feel that she had gotten a good deal.
Now after this big purchase, Weiss was again left with not much money. So she was worried if the third thing she needed would also be super expensive or not.
The third thing that she asked of Shin was about all the important recent news about the city of Ryco. Seven Heroes Conclave without a doubt had the most accurate news, so even though their rates were slightly higher than some other information brokers, Weiss still decided to get these informations from them.
Fortunately for her, the cost of this kind of information was nothing compared to the knowledge about the ancient families. So Weiss needed to pay only 5 gold coins for it which she was able to afford.
Even though 5 gold coins was still not cheap, Weiss was very satisfied. The clarity and the volume of the information that she got for these 5 gold coins was very high, that was why she was satisfied with it.
There were more thing that Weiss wanted to use the Seven Heroes Conclave for but she decided to not talk about those matters this time. She was not in any hurry and being too hasty with investigations like this was not a good idea.
So after giving giving three tasks to the Seven Heroes Conclave and after also becoming a member of it, Weiss finally left the tavern while carrying a vast amount of books and papers.
Shin had offered Weiss some help in carrying those but Weiss had declined it. This many things might look too heavy to a regular person but even for a high level knight apprentice, it was just moderately heavy.
So just like that Weiss managed to come in contact with the mysterious Seven Heroes Conclave.
