Transmigrated As The Final Villain of a Death Eroge

Chapter 104: The Hidden Catacombs [ 6 ]

BOOOOOOOOM!

The Inquisitor took a step back as the ground suddenly cracked under him.

For the first time since the fight began, I managed to push it back.

I kicked off the ground and arrived before the Inquisitor, trying to uppercut him.

Instead, the Inquisitor met me with an already drawn bow.

"Freeze!"

My voice came out like thunder.

In an instant, the Inquisitor froze.

Taking that chance, I summoned all 100 of my Clorafite Weapons and suddenly wrapped the Inquisitor all over.

With his whole body covered, I placed my hand on the Clorafite Weapons before quickly unleashing a surge of lightning from within.

CRACKLE!

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

The Inquisitor was in something akin to an iron maiden.

I was actually winning against a Grade 50.

Ha...

But as I began to relish in this feeling of overwhelming power, I suddenly realized something.

My heart was beating abnormally fast.

Nearly at 190 BPM.

Then 195... 200, 205.

It was rising rapidly.

And although I didn't know just what kind of power I had tapped into, I knew that I couldn't keep this up for long.

So I decided to finish it.

Feeling the resistance coming from within my Clorafite Weapons, I placed my hands atop them once more and suddenly increased the weight of every one of those weapons.

I collapsed them onto the Inquisitor, and soon saw white blood emerge from the barely noticeable cracks.

But just then, I saw a faint glow.

In the next instant, however, all the resistance that I felt vanished.

For a moment, I thought I killed him.

And yet, when I turned around, I saw two Reapers running at me with their needle blades drawn.

"What the fuck...?"

I focused on the two of them and tried to use my Telekinesis.

But because of how fast my heart was beating, the energy kept being disrupted, making it impossible to use Telekinesis.

Frowning, I switched to lightning instead.

CRACKLE!

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

Crimson lightning suddenly descended from the sky, shocking the two Reapers.

But to my surprise, the lightning also descended directly onto me, scorching my arm.

It was unstable.

Yet as I stared at the two Reapers whose heads had turned to mush, I knew the damage was definitely amplified significantly.

It looked like the higher my heart rate... the more powerful my Gifts became, except for the teeny tiny downside of me not being able to control them properly anymore.

I shook my head and took a step forward, prepared to finish off the two Reapers.

But that was when the third Reaper appeared and suddenly touched the backs of the remaining two Reapers.

In the next instant, a blinding white light emerged in front of me.

Yet once the light faded, my eyes widened in shock.

These three had merged back into a single Inquisitor.

The halo was a little crooked and had small chips in it.

But he seemed just as powerful and only a little injured.

Meanwhile, I was already at my limit.

Just then, a flare shot up into the sky from the distance.

Both the Inquisitor and I glanced toward it.

And when it finally vanished out of sight, the blizzard abruptly vanished as though it hadn't been there in the first place.

As the whole area was once again revealed, only then did I realize that the destruction from our fight wasn't as small as I thought.

The ground was scarred, and miniature chunks of earth and brick were scattered all around.

Most of the trees were cut in fine razor-thin lines, and beyond that, I spotted several chunks of violet mass hovering around.

Although I wasn't a scientist, I knew that was some plasma residue.

And that residue coincidentally appeared from the crimson lightning.

Though as I finally finished surveying the surroundings, I glanced back at the Inquisitor.

The killing intent was gone, and now he just stared at me with a cold expression.

I saw his muscles twitch, and I immediately raised my arms to block.

But instead of a punch, an arrow came tearing straight through both my forearms and finally embedding itself into my neck.

I felt my head spin for a moment as the pain kicked in.

Yet instead of the pain, I focused on my decreasing heart rate.

I know I should focus on surviving...

But does getting injured make this strange transformation more stable?

It was something I sadly didn't have the time to test out.

So I pulled the arrow out of my neck and broke it in two.

My wounds healed instantly.

And my heart rate returned to under 200 BPM.

Though despite my confidence reigniting, I was met with a reality check.

The Inquisitor appeared in front of me.

I immediately summoned crimson lightning, only for the Inquisitor to completely nullify it and slam me down to the ground with his fists.

I felt my bones shatter and my heart rate decrease further, but I didn't stop as I covered myself from head to toe in Telekinesis, and instead of blocking his attacks, I simply tried to push him back.

But again, he tore through my defense and began pummeling me with a barrage of attacks, all of which were nearly fatal.

Tapping back into that unstable and powerful power was also not working since I kept taking damage and not having enough time to let my heart rate increase.

...Even my Clorafite Weapons couldn't absorb the impact.

Though I also realized something...

The lower my heart rate was, the more normal my Gifts were.

It was as if the peak of my powers was between 150 BPM and 190 BPM.

But now that I was back under 100...

"GAH!"

I collided straight into a sharp rock, shattering it.

I finally reopened my second eye.

The feeling of overwhelming power vanished, and my field of vision returned to normal.

And as I stared at the Inquisitor in front of me, I could only sigh.

I felt like I put up a decent fight against a Grade 50.

Honestly...

As it stood, the Inquisitor was just too much for me to handle.

But just as I prepared to turn into lightning and fly over to Clementine, I saw a tiny needle soaring through the sky and suddenly stabbing straight into the Inquisitor's neck.
