"Alya, I have an idea," I yelled to Alya who had released blood from her back and paused before she could hit the ground. I just needed to use [whisker paw], quickly standing back up with shaking legs.
We didn't have the time to have a proper discussion, but I knew the people around me were experienced enough to have that while fighting.
Fortunately, the titans wanted revenge against. I had no idea Onis like them had this sort of brotherhood, but none targeted the weaker slaves. Even with that, though, I could clearly hear their teeth trembling, prayers in whispers, ragged breathing, and even sobbing sounds.
I didn't blame them; I would've been crying too if I were in my old body. It was pitch black, absurdly big giants with uncanny, very human faces, able to run faster than supercars with their massive, scary weapons, would frighten anyone.
Alyndra let out a chuckle as he saw us surrounding Kael. He shook his head, "You inspired me, you truly did. I won't hold back either." As he smashed his gravity-covered head against Kael's.
"Well, you're welcome," I replied with a bitter smile before signaling to Alya.
Alya spread her arms; her hands glowed bright red in the dark as two beams of blood tore through the air at absurd speeds. Her bright smile eased the stress I was feeling, she looked happy about being relied upon, I guessed, like she belonged someplace now.
The blood beams reached the sprinting giants' broad backs and then split up, wide enough for to pass by all giants without disturbing them, still parallel to each other.
They soon completely passed by the very fast giants with ease. Ren and Zhenny's eyes brightened as they realised what Alya was intending before they returned to glaring at each other.
"Zhenny, why don't you both aid Kael? We can handle it here." Alya suggested, with her eyes shut, focused on controlling the blood beams.
They both nodded hesitantly, preparing elemental spells aimed at Alyndra.
When the blood beams reached a proper distance ahead, they both collided, forming the classic string trap.
Suge looked nostalgic when he saw it. I couldn't help but glance with curious, tea-desperate eyes.
"I remember making something like this outside the bathroom quite a few times; my little sister always fell for them." He said in an emotionless tone, which felt like the only tone he could speak in, his voice low enough for only me to hear it.
"I could've never guessed you were that kinda kid growing up. I imagined you to be the most serious, stoic, cold type kid, not gonna lie." I rubbed my chin while he simply shrugged.
"Anyways, how fast they are moving, they will just break past Alya's blood." I shook my head before my lips curled upwards with a devious smile, "I need to go there myself… could you help me with that?"
Suge instantly understood what I meant, nodding with a thoughtful face. The way he had escaped the two giants was the only way for me to reach them without getting crushed by their weapons instantly.
As Suge adjusted his massive cat paw right behind my back, I asked with a random thought, "Did your sister come today too? With the Alphas, I mean."
He suddenly went silent before I felt energy build up in the paw behind me. It seemed precise enough to not hurt me, but strong enough to get me right where I needed.
After his prolonged silence, I guessed he wasn't the type to small talk personal things. Well, it was weird of me to ask that in the current situation in the first place.
I seriously gotta level up my charisma, fuck strength, and agility. I couldn't endure this awkwardness and guilt.
"…She's dead." My eyes immediately changed as I tried to turn back to him, but before I could, my body blew from the spot.
It was like my skin was being pierced by hundreds of needles as I tore through the air, crashing directly against one of the giant's biceps, wincing in pain, Suge's words still echoing in my head.
There was probably more to what he said the first time we met…
I wanted to talk more with him later, but for now, I returned my focus to the uncanny, human face, with emotionless eyes and perfect features.
He opened his, no… It opened its unnaturally wide, revealing rows of needle-like, dagger-sharp fangs, leaning dangerously closer and closer to me, making my hair stand on end as the burning, hot breath hits my skin.
"…Hello," I said, my voice coming out in a squeak, trying to hold back the urge to scream before jumping off the bicep and crashing against the ground.
"Subaruu, only forty seconds left!" I yelled while falling, my body somehow, suddenly, drenched in sweat.
I got on my foot mid fall, landing exactly like a cat.
"That's enough… 40 seconds." Subaru, still crouched next to the hand, replied apologetically while blocking a massive foot rushing at him, his pure white long katana glowing against the pitch-black foot of the giant.
He didn't bother to look, just flicking his katana forward as the heavy body of the giant flew like a cannonball.
I noticed Suge launching Shen as well, who, mid-flight, turned to Seven Shens.
I shared a nod of understanding with him before using [Dash] to dodge a spear stabbing at me, leaving a massive crater at my original position.
Now, [Soldier of Heaven] had released only fifteen giants. Five were spread around, targeting the ones standing beside Kael, while ten were here. This was a lot less compared to the invincible army Alyndra had released before, all thanks to my boy Kael.
Dash! Dash!
I was moving in a zig-zag, the giants were growing more and more angry as I let their attacks get very close before instantly moving away with a [Dash], slowly closing towards the trap.

Fun Fact: I wrote the chapter ahead, playing let down by Radiohead on loop. Great song.
