"Y-Yes?" The guard-servant slowly lifted her head, her eyes wide with terror.

"Strip off your uniform and hand it over to me. Just the outer layer will do." Bai Xifeng stated calmly.

The guard-servant dared not hesitate for a single second. She hurriedly unfastened her outer uniform coat and offered it up with hands trembling like leaves. Bai Xifeng casually took the garment and turned to hand it to Xie Lanying. Xie Lanying looked at the uniform with extreme hesitation, shrinking back slightly. "Do I really need to touch that?" Xie Lanying asked, eyeing the clothes with sheer disgust.

"Don’t worry, she is completely clean." Bai Xifeng reassured her with a slight smile. "She is not infected with that disease."

"Are you sure? Really?" Xie Lanying asked again, still eyeing the fabric dubiously.

"What? Are you seriously doubting the professional diagnosis of an Immortal-rank Pharmacist?" Bai Xifeng raised an amused eyebrow.

"Fine." Xie Lanying sighed, finally taking the uniform from Bai Xifeng’s hand.

Both Nanny Wang and the conscious guard-servant froze in place, utterly stunned by what they had just overheard. Did she just say... an Immortal-rank Pharmacist?! Was this young, terrifying girl actually a legendary, supreme pharmacist?!

"Hey, you." Bai Xifeng turned back to the guard-servant, snapping her fingers. "Go over there and strip off your unconscious friend’s uniform as well."

The guard-servant scrambled up immediately, rushing over to her partner who was still lying knocked out cold on the floor from Xie Lanying’s earlier attack. She carefully stripped the outer uniform off her friend and handed it over to Bai Xifeng with utmost respect.

The girl knew that simply walking out of the grand hall as two stunning strangers would immediately draw unwanted attention and blow their cover. By disguising themselves as the mansion’s guard-servants, they could freely walk through the estate right under everyone’s noses without raising a single alarm.

The conscious guard-servant was quickly knocked out cold with a swift strike and securely tied up before they made their move. The guards did not think twice about her presence and immediately unlocked the door for her. Nanny Wang stepped into the room, followed closely by Bai Xifeng and Xie Lanying in their stolen uniforms.

"Where is the core you mentioned earlier?" Bai Xifeng leaned over and whispered softly into Nanny Wang’s ear.

"This way." Nanny Wang murmured nervously.

She led Bai Xifeng and Xie Lanying deeper into the primary vault. Inside the main room, there was another smaller, reinforced secondary chamber. They stepped past the threshold.

"It’s right over there. On the left side, third row of the rack." Nanny Wang pointed.

"Watch over her." Bai Xifeng instructed Xie Lanying in a low voice.

Xie Lanying nodded, placing a hand on her hidden weapon while keeping a sharp eye on the old woman.

Bai Xifeng walked over to the exact spot Nanny Wang had pointed out. There were dozens of delicate wooden boxes arranged neatly on the shelves. However, there was only a single, ornate box sitting alone on the third row of the rack. She immediately knew that this was the one.

Bai Xifeng took the box and gently popped the latch open. The glowing yellow stone inside shone beautifully the moment her eyes landed on it. Upon carefully examining the dense spiritual waves radiating from it, she instantly recognised that it was a genuine beast core from an Emperor-Rank beast! She immediately became thrilled.
