Chapter 1106: Vomit Herself

Chapter 1106: Chapter 1106: Vomit Herself

Only after the chamber was stripped completely clean did Bai Xifeng step back out, casually pulling the heavy door shut behind her.

Nanny Wang tried to sneak a peek over her shoulder into the inner room, but Bai Xifeng closed the door too quickly for her to see the empty racks.

"Let’s grab a couple of decoy items and head out." Bai Xifeng said softly.

"Take something out of here?" Xie Lanying asked, tilting her head.

"Hmm... It will look completely suspicious if we walk out of a treasure vault empty-handed after telling the guards we were sent to fetch something." Bai Xifeng stated logically.

"That’s true." Xie Lanying nodded in agreement.

So, both girls grabbed a decorative box each from the outer room and held them openly in their hands, perfectly pretending that they had only retrieved a couple of small items from the vault under orders. They were now ready to leave the room.

"Hey, old woman, let us lead the way out." Bai Xifeng called out to Nanny Wang.

"Yes... Yes... Let’s get out." Nanny Wang nodded frantically, sweating nervously.

Nanny Wang then walked out of the vault with the two disguised girls, all three of them holding boxes to maintain the charade.

"Nanny Wang, what did you take out from the vault this time?" One of the door guards asked, pulling out a heavy leather logbook.

Nanny Wang quickly signalled the girls to open their boxes. Bai Xifeng and Xie Lanying casually flipped open the lids of their respective decoy boxes. The guards leaned in to inspect the contents.

One box was filled to the brim with glittering gold bars, while the other was packed with sparkling raw diamonds.

"Nanny Wang, please record what you took out right here." The guard said, handing the ledger and a brush over to her.

Nanny Wang took the book, her hands trembling as she recorded the gold and diamonds the girls had taken out. She desperately wanted to write a hidden distress code or a warning note, anything that could secretly alert the guards to the robbery taking place right under their noses. However, the moment she thought about the agonising poison currently circulating through her bloodstream, she instantly abandoned the idea. She did not dare write a single extra stroke that might provoke Bai Xifeng or raise her suspicions.

They returned to the previous room, where the two unconscious guard-servants were still tied up on the floor. Without hesitation, Bai Xifeng unfastened and slipped off the borrowed uniform she was wearing, returning to her original attire.

"Why are you taking off the uniform already? Shouldn’t we keep wearing them until we are completely clear of this mansion?" Xie Lanying whispered, looking around nervously.

"You don’t have to worry about that. I have a much faster plan." Bai Xifeng grinned mischievously.

"Y-Young Lady... please, give me the antidote now!" Nanny Wang begged desperately, clutching her stomach as she grovelled on the floor. "I brought you to the vault and did everything you asked!"

"Antidote? What antidote?" Bai Xifeng chuckled, crossing her arms. "The thing I had you eat earlier was not poison at all. It was actually just compressed animal manure mixed with a few pungent herbs!"

Nanny Wang froze, utterly shocked and speechlessly horrified. A fraction of a second later, a wave of unbearable, overwhelming nausea hit her full force. She immediately slapped both hands over her mouth, her eyes bulging as she tried desperately to vomit.

Seeing Nanny Wang squirm in pure horror, Bai Xifeng felt immense satisfaction at having so successfully tricked the cruel old woman. Without wasting another second, she grabbed Xie Lanying by the arm. The very next instant, space distorted around them, and the two of them vanished into thin air.

Nanny Wang completely lost control and violently vomited everything in her stomach onto the floor! As the dissolved concoction mixed with her stomach acid, it reacted instantly, releasing a truly foul, horrifying stench into the air. The second that horrific odour hit her nose, Nanny Wang gagged and vomited all over again.

After repeatedly dry-heaving until her stomach was completely empty, Nanny Wang finally managed to lift her tear-streaked face, wanting to beg the young ladies to kill her instead. However, she was met with pure shock. There was no one left in the room.

The two young ladies had completely vanished without a trace.

Panicking for her life, Nanny Wang frantically scrambled to her feet and rushed outside into the main courtyard.

"Guards! Guards! The two young ladies are escaping! Find them immediately!" Nanny Wang shrieked at the top of her lungs.

It just so happened that Young Master Su was strolling nearby and heard her shrill screams. He immediately hurried over, his face twisted in anger as he confronted her.

"Nanny Wang, do you mean the two beauties I specifically ordered you to prepare for me?!" Young Master Su glared viciously at her. "How could two weak, fragile ladies possibly escape from my estate?! How on earth do you do your job?! Don’t tell me you stupidly let them escape, or worse, helped them?!"

"Young Master! I swear on my life, I would never do anything to betray you. I did not help them escape." Nanny Wang shook her head frantically, desperately defending herself against his rage.

"Then how could two delicate girls possibly slip out of your grasp?!" Young Master Su questioned angrily. "Didn’t you take two trained guard-servants with you?"

"Young Master... those two young ladies are actually extremely powerful cultivators!" Nanny Wang stuttered, her voice trembling as she uttered the final sentence. "They are vastly stronger than our guard-servants... I-I think they might even be significantly stronger than you, Young Master!"
