Chapter 539: The Superior Five-Element Qi

Lin Xuan Qi’s hammer hit and the impact made Hu Yi’s head shoot to the back.

The oily and shiny forehead of Hu Yi was now caved in and filled with blood.

"Senior martial brother!" The other Qing Feng Sect disciples saw what happened and shouted.

They drew out their swords and lunged at Lin Xuan Qi.

"Despicable!" Lao Er shouted in anger and he tried to get to Lin Xuan Qi to help him but Ling Er pulled him back and shook her head at him.

He would become a liability if he went over.

It was best for them to remain where they were, and unnoticed by anyone.

The Qing Feng Sect disciples thrust their swords forward at Lin Xuan Qi and a dozen twirling wind strikes shot out at him from different angles.

Lin Xuan Qi had raised both of his arms, ready for another blow at Hu Yi’s head, but he had to stop with all the twirling winds coming at him.

He leaped into the air, kept his hammers and took out the crystal horn from the Demonic Wolf that he had gotten earlier.

The crystal horn gave out a glow and a crackling sound of lightning could be heard in the air.

All the Qing Feng Sect disciples lifted their heads up and they could feel the ends of their hair on their arms stand.

And before they could even react, a lightning strike came down at one of the Qing Feng Sect disciples.

The Qing Feng Sect disciple that was hit didn’t even have a chance to give out a whimper before he was turned into a pile of burnt flesh.

When the other Qing Feng Sect disciples saw the sight of the burnt flesh and the charred smell filling the air, it turned their guts and they wanted to puke.

Another few lightning strikes rained down on them and hit a few of them.

"Senior martial brother..." They turned their heads and glanced at Hu Yi, as he was their only hope to get out of here alive.

Hu Yi had taken a recovery pill and his wound had mostly recovered.

He staggered back onto his feet and he reached into his shirt.

"Die!" After he shouted, Hu Yi hurled a few sword pills he had taken out from his shirt at Lin Xuan Qi.

When the sword pills got close enough to Lin Xuan Qi, they exploded and huge glowing swords appeared.

These glowing swords the size of an adult male shot at Lin Xuan Qi with tremendous speed.

Lin Xuan Qi hurled out a few protection talismans into the surroundings and the protection talismans gave out a golden glow and they formed a protective sphere around him.

Dang!

One of the glowing swords was the first to hit onto the protective sphere but it could only cause a small crack in the protective sphere.

Another glowing sword came at the protective sphere next and the same thing happened.

The last few of the swords hit onto the protective sphere and they were able to finally cause a huge crack in the protective sphere.

Hu Yi gritted his teeth and cursed at what he was witnessing.

He could recognize the materials used to make the talismans but these talismans were somehow many times more powerful than what he had seen before.

This man’s talismans were on another level even when they were made with common materials.

And on top of that, this man was using something other than Spirit Qi.

Red glowing chains appeared from the artifact and they wrapped around Lin Xuan Qi’s protective sphere.

"Let’s see how you can deal with a Spirit Level artifact." Hu Yi muttered to himself as he saw the chains moving and tightening against the protective sphere of Lin Xuan Qi.

Lin Xuan Qi frowned and pondered as he sensed that his protective sphere couldn’t hold any longer.

He didn’t have many talismans left but he still had many options with the artifacts he had with him.

Crack.

Finally, the protective sphere that engulfed him cracked into pieces and dissipated.

The glowing red chains didn’t stop and they came at him next.

Lin Xuan Qi flew out of their way and one of the chains nearly caught his ankle.

He wouldn’t know what would happen if he was caught but he didn’t have time to ponder over it.

Hu Yi had leaped into the air and thrust his sword at him.

But Lin Xuan Qi was ready for him.

He raised his hand with the artifact that was in the form of the sun and directed his Five-Element Qi into it.

A bright flash emitted out from it and the surroundings were bright as day in the blink of an eye.

"Argh!" Hu Yi didn’t expect this and his eyes were blinded by the bright flash.

Lin Xuan Qi raised his other hand with the crystal horn and he directed most of his Five-Element Qi into it.

Bam!

Lightning strikes shot at Hu Yi one after another and they slowly turned Hu Yi into a darkened mass of burnt flesh.

The regenerative attribute of a Foundation Establishment cultivator wasn’t enough to recover from the damage caused by the lightning strikes.

Finally, Hu Yi lost consciousness and he descended back onto the ground.

Lin Xuan Qi followed and shot down at Hu Yi with his hammers.
