Chapter 188: The Thing Wrapped Around His Leg Seems to Be a Venomous Snake

Chapter 188: Chapter 188: The Thing Wrapped Around His Leg Seems to Be a Venomous Snake

"He dragged you into the stairwell?" Renee Jennings’s eyes flashed, and she clenched her fists. "What did he do?" she asked in a low voice.

"The pervert forced a hug on me and tried to kiss me! He even asked me to get a room with him!" Michelle Fuller said, infuriated. "I slapped him and ran back to my hospital room."

She had been terrified at the time, worried she’d be at a disadvantage if she stayed any longer.

Michelle Fuller furrowed her brow and sighed. "I really regret not beating him up right then and there!"

A frosty look settled over Renee Jennings’s fair face. Her tone was grim. "Do you have his contact information?"

"No." Michelle Fuller shook her head. "But I can ask for it."

"Then ask," Renee Jennings said coldly. "We can’t just let this go!"

Michelle Fuller nodded. "Okay, I’ll have someone ask right now."

Before long, someone sent her the contact information for Zion Sutton, the son of Ronan Fuller’s brother-in-law.

It included his WeChat and phone number, along with a whole file on him.

Michelle Fuller scanned it and exclaimed in shock, "Damn! Not only is he a drug user, but he also has a bunch of STDs. No wonder his skin looked so nasty."

Renee Jennings glanced at it too, her slender brows knitting together slightly. "Truly disgusting."

She took out her burner phone and made the call. The other person picked up after just two rings.

"Hello, who’s this?"

Renee Jennings said coolly, "Are you free? Let’s meet."

"And you are?" Zion Sutton asked, suspicious.

Renee Jennings gave a cold laugh. "You’ll know when we meet."

"Where are we meeting?"

"Serenity Lake, five p.m." Renee Jennings hung up without another word.

Michelle Fuller asked excitedly, "Renee, are you going to hire some thugs to beat him up? I can make the call!"

"No need." Renee Jennings’s cold expression softened as she looked at her with a smile. "I’ll handle the arrangements. You just need to watch the show."

"Renee!" Michelle Fuller, both excited and moved, got up and walked over to Renee Jennings’s side of the booth, throwing her arms around her. "You’re the best! I’m so happy!"

Seeing her friend’s dramatic display, Renee Jennings wore a look of amused resignation.

「At four-thirty in the afternoon, Zion Sutton arrived at Serenity Lake.」

Ever since that phone call at noon, he’d been itching with curiosity, desperate to know who had asked to meet him.

The voice sounded like it belonged to a beautiful woman, but it was unfamiliar.

Zion Sutton got out of his car and began looking around, searching for any sign of the beauty.

At this time of day, Serenity Lake was crowded with people taking pictures, many of them beautiful women, which only heightened Zion Sutton’s anticipation.

He carefully studied the long-legged beauties by the lake, then glanced at his watch. It was almost five.

Zion Sutton immediately took out his phone to call her.

Renee Jennings, who had already arranged everything, answered Zion Sutton’s call with a light laugh. "Find a rock and stand on it so I can see where you are."

"You can’t find me?" Zion Sutton scoffed. "How could you possibly not spot someone as handsome as me?"

Hearing this, Michelle Fuller couldn’t help but roll her eyes and silently mouth the word "ugly-ass."

Renee Jennings repeated coolly, "Find a rock and stand on it. Don’t make me say it a third time."

"Ooh." Zion Sutton looked all around but couldn’t spot her. ’This chick’s got some real personality. I like it.’

He found a rock, stood on top of it, and even waved his arms. "I’m on the rock! If you see me, hurry up and come find me."

"Good, stay right there." Renee Jennings hung up and turned to her newly made friends. "You see that male human standing on the rock, the one who looks like a total scumbag?"

"Hisss~ We see him. Is it the male with the pitted face?"

"The short one in the shiny green pants, hisss~?"

"Hisss~ The really ugly one, right?"

"..."

Renee Jennings’s friends all hissed their questions at once.

Renee Jennings realized they were all correct. She nodded seriously. "Yes. The short, ugly one with the pitted face, wearing green leather pants."

"Hisss~ Understood!"

"Brothers, let’s go! Bite him, hisss~!"

"Hisss~ Let’s go, go, go~"

Snakes of all colors and patterns slithered menacingly toward Zion Sutton.

Michelle Fuller’s eyes widened with excitement as she watched. She turned to look at Renee Jennings’s beautiful profile, her heart leaping, but she managed to keep her voice low. "Renee, these thugs you hired are incredible!"

Renee Jennings turned to meet her gaze, her eyes smiling. "Where are the sunflower seeds I asked you to buy?"

Michelle Fuller pulled a bag of caramel-flavored sunflower seeds from her LV handbag. "Right here! I brought a bag for the shells, too."

The two friends found a place to sit down and crack open the seeds.

Zion Sutton craned his neck, still trying to spot the beautiful woman who had called him.

As he scanned the area, he suddenly felt a strange sensation on his foot.

Zion Sutton looked down and was so frightened he fell right off the rock.

"A snake! There’s a snake!" he wailed, attracting a few curious glances from nearby.

Zion Sutton thrashed his leg, flinging off the Five-Pace Snake that had wrapped around his foot.

He breathed a sigh of relief and placed a hand on the grass to push himself up, but his palm touched something strangely smooth, like leather.

Zion Sutton turned his head to look, his suspicion turning to terror. He nearly died on the spot.

"Snakes!" he shrieked in horror. "So many snakes! Help, help me!"

Snakes of all colors and patterns were coiling around his arms.

Yuna, the Maize Snake, flicked her tongue. "Hisss~ He’s even uglier up close!"

The Black Wind Snake marveled, "First time I’ve seen a human face with so many pits, hisss~"

"Hisss~ I really don’t want to crawl into his crotch..." The Five-Pace Snake was hesitant, but remembering the promise it had made to its friend, it steeled itself and slithered into the green pant leg.

Zion Sutton felt the strange movement on his leg. His pitted face twisted into a grotesque mask of fear. "Aah! A snake! It’s in my pants!"

He ignored the snakes beneath him and on his arms, leaping to his feet. He started jumping and hopping around, trying to shake the venomous snake out of his pant leg.

That was a venomous Five-Pace Snake! If it bit his junk, how would he ever spend a wonderful night with a beautiful woman again?

The more Zion Sutton thought about it, the more terrified he became.

He hastily undid his belt and pulled down his zipper.

A growing crowd of onlookers was gathering.

Many of them were shocked to see Zion Sutton pulling down his leather pants.

But what shocked them even more was the snake with triangular, brownish-gray patches on its back that was also wrapped around his leg.

"Oh my god, did this guy poke a snake’s nest?"

"How terrifying! The one on his leg looks like a venomous snake!"

"It’s a Paceria! It’s venomous!"

Zion Sutton was sweating profusely with panic. "Help! Somebody help me!"

He suddenly ran toward the crowd of onlookers.

"AAAAHHH!"

"Don’t come over here!"

The crowd scattered in terror.

Zion Sutton chased them for a short distance before stopping abruptly. His eyes widened in terror, and a second later, they rolled back in his head as he collapsed, stiff as a board.

"Finished the seeds. That was satisfying." Renee Jennings dusted off her hands and tied the bag full of shells into a neat bow.
