Chapter 1380 - 543: The Three Great Guilds (Part 3)

Chapter 1380: Chapter 543: The Three Great Guilds (Part 3)

When the scavengers of Chaos Town piece together a new invention from scraps, the excitement and joy are so sincere;

When the Whisperers discover traces of truth amidst the rumors, the brilliance of wisdom is so dazzling;

When the Symbionts form deep friendships with a Magical Beast, the pure emotion is so touching.

These are experiences that his "subjects" can never truly feel.

"Perhaps..." Hephis thought silently to himself:

"True perfection shouldn’t be about eliminating all uncertainty, but rather learning to coexist harmoniously with it."

As he pondered this, Hephis’ avatar of light turned toward the opposite side of the sandbox, where stood the young Wizard who created all of this.

"Your methods..." his voice carried an indescribable irritation:

"Remind me of an old acquaintance."

He rubbed his temples, seemingly recalling some unpleasant memories:

"A troublesome guy named Hector."

The temperature in the air subtly changed with the mention of this name.

"Long before he earned the title ’King of Absurdity,’ that guy once came here with a friend."

Hephis’ tone became heavier:

"The challenge they faced wasn’t this ’simplified’ trial you’re experiencing, but the full ’Artisan Maze,’ an ultimate test perfected over countless years."

"Faced with seemingly unsolvable strategic stalemates, other challengers would rack their brains to find clever breakthroughs, attempt innovative tactical combinations, and ignite astounding potential in despair."

His voice began to carry evident anger:

"But Hector, what did he do?"

The space around the Throne of Light began to subtly distort, reflecting the host’s inner agitation:

"He completely unleashed the essence of his ’Paradox Core’!"

"That rascal never even thought of winning within the framework of rules I’d set.

Instead, he chose to make the game itself unplayable!"

"The terrain on the board started contradicting itself—land that was both a mountain and a valley;

The civilization I meticulously simulated began questioning its own existence, spending excessive time on pointless philosophical debates;

Even the fundamental laws of physics started ’striking,’ with gravity intermittent and time unpredictably fast or slow!"

Hephis swung his arms furiously, causing the entire starry sea to resonate with his emotional turbulence:

"It was a complete farce! An absurd drama with no victor!"

"Ultimately, I could only call it a draw, for the game itself had lost all meaning!"

"The perfect maze I had painstakingly crafted was thrown into chaos by his ’absurd logic’!"

Like a devoted fan whose figurines and models were smashed by a misbehaved child, Hephis’ voice was nearly overflowing with anger:

"That was the most infuriating defeat I’ve ever experienced! I had no choice but to throw that troublemaker out of my dimension!"

"And now..."

Hephis’ gaze refocused on Ron:

"Your ’chaotic aesthetics,’ your ’recomposition of scraps,’ your ’anti-perfectionism’... all remind me of that troublesome guy."

"Tell me, Ron Ralph, do you also plan to disrupt my sandbox game with some ’absurd logic’?"

Facing Hephis’ provocative questioning, Ron did not rush to defend or argue.

He simply looked up at the Monarch of Light and slowly shook his head:

"I am not Saint Hector, nor do I intend to become his replica."

Ron’s voice was exceptionally steady:

"The essence of absurd logic is to deny the meaning of the game itself, but I believe true wisdom lies in creating breakthroughs within established rules, rather than simply overthrowing the board."

He withdrew the Paradox Dice, redirecting his attention to the sandbox:

"What you wish to see is creative chaos, not destructive absurdity.

So let me show you a different possibility: order emerging from chaos, not chaos injected into order."

This response eased Hephis’ wary eyes slightly.

He returned to his throne, observing Ron’s subsequent actions with a scrutinizing gaze.

"Very well." The Monarch of Light’s tone became neutral:

"Continue your game then, let me see what this ’creative chaos’ you speak of truly looks like."

With this, the sandbox reactivated, and the two civilizations continued their respective trajectories of development.
