Chapter 433: Chapter 433: King-rank
From the very beginning, Long Ming never believed his parents would appear to guide his escape. This was all just the enemy’s trick.
Of course, Anus hadn’t been so kind as to let Long Ming go.
It had simply sensed the aura of its own kind on Long Ming and felt he was too powerful to take down with any certainty. That’s why it had tried to get rid of him. Once it occupied Hopka’s body, it would have been confident in its ability to capture Long Ming.
It had just about worn Hopka down, but it never expected this guy to actually turn back and ruin everything.
"Haha, since you’ve seen through me, I guess there’s no other way."
Anus burst into laughter.
BOOM—
Anus’s body instantly burst apart.
Swarms of black particles shot toward the corpse of the fallen Dimulu.
Dimulu’s corpse instantly floated into the air. Engulfed by the black particles, it unleashed a terrifying wave of Power that blasted Hops and the others away.
Countless bones from the surroundings flew toward Dimulu’s corpse, forming a giant, skeletal sphere.
Then, the bones began to merge into Dimulu’s corpse, piece by piece.
Long Ming and Hopka exchanged a glance and nodded.
Hopka immediately aimed his Shoulder Cannons and began charging them, while Long Ming opened his mouth, gathering Power.
VMMMM—
Two beams of light shot out, striking the skeletal sphere dead-on.
BOOM!
A massive explosion erupted, sending countless shattered bone fragments flying in all directions.
Long Ming and Hopka stared intently, their nerves stretched taut.
As the smoke cleared, a figure was slowly revealed. It was a Type-IV, King-level Death Filth Spirit Di Polok. It stood five meters tall with a skeletal demon’s head wreathed in black flames. Its body was constructed from segments of pale bone, and its sharp, bony claws shone with a black luster as terrifying waves of Power emanated from its entire being.
After dealing with the Death Filth Spirit soldiers, Chen Hong and Antilo turned to look at the fused Type-IV Death Filth Spirit Di Polok. The expressions on their faces were grim.
Colonel Hopka was also on high alert, as if facing a formidable foe.
Long Ming’s brow was tightly furrowed. He could sense this thing was extremely dangerous.
Di Polok glanced down at its new body and spoke in a deep voice.
"As I thought, this body is still lacking. However, it will be more than enough to deal with you."
It then floated directly to the chest of the giant statue. Extending its right claw, it pierced through the statue’s surface and pulled out the Spear of the Dead—a weapon forged from a special black metal, covered in bizarre patterns, and emanating black particles.
Seeing this, the faces of everyone present darkened.
Di Polok descended, clutching the Spear of the Dead. It looked at Long Ming and the others, its voice a harsh rasp.
"Come."
Long Ming took a deep breath and said to Hopka and the others,
"I’ll take the lead. You all support me!"
"Right!"
Hopka and the others didn’t argue.
After all, they were in poor condition after taking down Dimulu.
Long Ming’s pupils contracted. A terrifying red aura erupted from his body as he stomped the ground and shot toward Di Polok.
Di Polok, however, simply stood its ground, elegantly raising the Spear of the Dead.
Long Ming closed the distance and swung his blade in a vicious arc.
CLANG—
The two weapons clashed.
A massive shockwave swept outward.
No matter how much force Long Ming applied, his opponent didn’t budge an inch.
Just then, Hopka, piloting the Hellcrusher, attacked from the left, swinging his Giant Hammer—which crackled with arcs of lightning—down on the creature.
"Die!"
"Foolish!"
Di Polok raised its left claw and caught Hopka’s Giant Hammer with its bare hand.
At the same time, Chen Hong zipped in with his Hunter, swinging a Particle Light Blade at Di Polok.
Di Polok violently flung Hopka toward Long Ming.
CRASH—
The two of them were sent flying, crashing to the ground.
"Die!"
Chen Hong brought his blade down in a close-range slash.
Di Polok’s jet-black eyes lit up, and a black Particle Barrier materialized before it.
CRACK!
Particles of light scattered.
’A barrier?’
Chen Hong retreated in astonishment.
Just as Di Polok was about to give chase and strike Chen Hong...
WHOOSH!
...a beam of light shot out, striking its Particle Barrier.
BOOM!
A violent explosion engulfed the area.
Di Polok twisted its head around with a ferocious look, its eyes landing on Antilo, who was piloting the Lightchaser.
Antilo knew his Mechanical God was no match for Di Polok, so he decisively retreated to create more distance.
Just then, Long Ming scrambled up from the ground and charged at Di Polok once more.
Di Polok glanced sideways at him, then opened its mouth, gathered a torrent of frenzied Power, and fired a black beam.
Long Ming swiftly sidestepped the beam and lunged at Di Polok, swinging his sharp blade.
Di Polok raised the Spear of the Dead to block.
CLANG!
Their weapons crashed together.
Di Polok opened its mouth, spewing a thick black mist that attempted to corrode Long Ming.
Long Ming retaliated by opening his own mouth and exhaling a blast of scorching red mist.
The two mists intertwined, creating a roiling cloud of dark red.
’What kind of ability is that?’
’How is Red Ghost so much like a monster?’
Antilo and Chen Hong were utterly shocked.
But a second later, Long Ming was sent flying out of the dark red mist, slamming heavily onto the ground.
"Are you holding up?"
Hopka asked, looking at Long Ming who had just been sent flying.
"What do you think?"
Long Ming scrambled to his feet, glaring at Di Polok in frustration.
"I think we should all attack together!"
Hopka declared, raising his Giant Hammer.
"Fine!"
Long Ming led the charge.
Hopka and Chen Hong flanked him, charging from the left and right.
Faced with the pincer attack, Di Polok opened its mouth and unleashed a silent shockwave.
The minds of the three attackers were instantly assaulted, feeling as if their heads had been struck by a hammer.
Hopka and Chen Hong froze in place.
Only Long Ming managed to push through.
"You’re asking for it!"
Di Polok raised the Spear of the Dead and thrust it at Long Ming with phantom-like speed.
Relying on beast-like intuition, Long Ming twisted his body to dodge.
RIIIP—
The Spear of the Dead scraped past Long Ming’s body.
Long Ming swung his blade with all his might, striking Di Polok’s Particle Barrier.
CRACK!
The entire barrier distorted violently.
Di Polok swiped its left claw, aiming to rip Long Ming apart.
Long Ming quickly drew back his blade to block!
THWACK—
He was sent sliding backward.
"Die!"
Just then, Hopka, his eyes blazing, leaped forward and brought his hammer down on the Particle Barrier in a furious blow.
KRA-KOOM!
The entire barrier shattered with a deafening crash.
The Giant Hammer struck Di Polok’s body, but only left a shallow dent.
’How is that possible?’
Hopka was stunned.
Di Polok lashed out with a vicious kick to Hopka’s machine.
Hopka was sent flying like a kite with its string cut, smashing into a stone pillar and shattering the massive column.
Long Ming’s expression grew even more solemn. He abruptly opened his mouth, gathered a torrent of frenzied Power, and unleashed a dark red beam.
Seeing this, Di Polok also opened its mouth and fired a black beam of its own.
The two beams, one red and one black, both brimming with raw Power, collided in mid-air.
A massive explosion engulfed the area.
Then, Long Ming burst through the explosion and brought his blade down on Di Polok.
