Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 4952 Grand Divine Phoenix Constellation

Chapter 4952  Grand Divine Phoenix Constellation

"Grand Divine Phoenix Constellation…"

Davis uttered, his expression filled with contemplation. A few moments later, he nodded as he turned to look at Lydia.

"No wonder… At this point, I suppose I'd be hard-pressed to go against the Grand Divine Phoenix Constellation's powers. I could only imagine the techniques one could harness from connecting with that constellation."

"…" Lydia had her gaze on the floor, suddenly going silent.

Davis's lips curled before he walked to her and ruffled her hair, "In any case, my Lydia is greatly knowledgeable, just like Ellia and her great-mother Myria. I look forward to learning more from you."

Lydia raised her head, watching her father walk to Arc with a complicated gaze.

Arc just opened his eyes when he saw his father standing before him. He didn't show the full extent of his perception since he maintained a semblance of his consciousness outside, listening to their conversation.

He was greatly shaken to know that Lydia could have been connected with the Grand Divine Phoenix Constellation.

The scary thing about constellations was that they would give a minor burst of energy when the astral cultivator is out of energy, so that could mean Lydia could come to possess Empyrean or even Exalt-level energy for that short moment. In this case, he guessed Lydia still maintained a connection with the Grand Divine Phoenix Constellation because it helped her cross over to this incarnation.

An Empyrean should start to look after their way to reincarnate, since the reincarnation cycle wouldn't actively help them. He had heard of this before, and it seemed like the astral cultivators who had linked to the Grand Divine Phoenix Constellation didn't have this trouble. There were also the Major Constellations in the Second Astral Sea, like the Prismatic Phoenix Constellation and Viridian Wolf Constellation, both having the ability to help a cultivator reincarnate as long as they knew the right technique.

He wanted to warn his father not to force Lydia, but when he looked at his father, he remained as confident as ever, causing him to close his mouth.

Davis gave a thumbs up, "You're awesome, destined for greatness. Which of these constellations do you think you can link with?"

Arc hesitated for a moment before smiling wryly, "Maybe all…"

Davis blinked, his gaze filled with shock, "Surely, there's a limit."

"Yes, one for each stage, but the manual I'm cultivating allows one to create a special type of astral gate above the Sky Empyrean Stage, which allows me to temporarily connect with a constellation as long as I could for a link with it but there are many compatibility issues, so I prefer to take on the path of five element constellations to be able to connect most of the stars and constellations."

"Oh…" Davis raised his brows, "it seems like your ambition of wanting to become the true Emperor of Stars isn't just a dream."

"Heh~ Did father think I was kidding when I said it to mother?"

Arc looked smug but also embarrassed as he brought his hand over his face and rubbed the bridge of his nose.

Fiora also couldn't stop smiling, greatly relieved. With Davis acknowledging her son, she couldn't be any happier, practically wanting to hide and dance.

"Only, I'm not sure how to do it…" Arc walked past Davis and was about to run when his collar was grabbed.

"Ah, let me go!"

"You little brat. You're as naughty as ever. Die to my divine tickling fingers!"

"You- pfft! Stop, hahaha!"

Arc was caught and nearly tickled to death as he laughed uncontrollably, veins erupting on his forehead and his eyes widening, nearly turning bloodshot. This was truly a divine technique that could make someone die if they weren't careful, but it caused everyone else to laugh.

Even Lydia broke out into a heartened smile.

Eventually, Arc was thrown to the cold floor, his eyes looking dull and his face expressionless as though he was dead.

It momentarily made Lydia wonder if he was dead, but then she saw him come alive as he twitched, asking for help.

With a giggle, Lydia ignored him and walked out of the chamber, heading towards Fiora's room.

She entered the room and extended her hand, slowly feeling the sensation of the wall before her fingers came across a vase, music instruments, bows, and a lot of furniture and accessories. Filled here were a lot of memories that she had when she came to play here.

There was a painting where she was a little two-year old playing with a eight-year old Arc. Seeing it made her lips quiver.

While she reminisced and occasionally smiled like a fool, eventually two people came in.

They were none other than Davis and Ellia.

Lydia stopped browsing and turned to look at them. She raised her hand, summoning three chairs in a circle before she sat on one, throwing her leg over the other. The vibe she gave off was no longer one of a cute child but a true reincarnator, one who possessed a cold demeanor.

"Lydia…"

"I'm not your daughter."

Lydia coldly cut Ellia off, causing her to bring her hand back.

"Sit if you want to talk to me. Otherwise…" Lydia narrowed her eyes.

Ellia shuddered ever so lightly before she made a despondent expression. She slowly backed over to the chair and sat, even eying Davis to follow the same.

Davis chuckled. He grabbed the chair and brought it over to Lydia as he dragged it over the floor, and sat near her, causing her brows to twitch.

He leaned back and threw his leg over the other.

"I'm curious. Why did you distance yourself from your safe space?"

Lydia's lips curled, "Pretty cowardly to take him as your hostage."

Davis spread his hands, "Who made whom a hostage? If he weren't there for you, you might've sullied your pants instead."

"You-" Lydia pointed at him before she took her hand back, looking away.

She clenched her teeth and threw her hand again, pointing at her father.

"If you are not going to kill me or erase my memories, what do you want from me? My knowledge on astral cultivation?"
