Chapter 4491: Ungrateful

"We survived," said the man with relief flooding in his voice as the monsters disappeared from our senses.

"We did, but there are still few monsters," I replied, but I am not worried, seeing a few of them coming toward us.

These two could handle them. It is why, I removed the shields and waiting for the monsters. It is better to finish them off before resuming the journey toward the exit.

The monster didn’t came immediately.

They are hesitant; they saw the four weren’t able to kill us, but that doesn’t mean, they don’t want to kill us.

I sat down on the boulder and used to recovery method. These two are more than capable of handling them. Looking at them, they want to deal with them.

The monsters have nearly killed them. It will be their little revenge.

I watched them move toward the monsters. confident but cautious.

They have survived the monsters that could have killed them. If they aren’t cautious, then they are really a fools.

Minute passed and then another; the monsters could have reached them within seconds, but they also moved cautiously before finally, they reached each other.

Roar Roar!

The five monsters roared and attack them; the two didn’t remained on their spots and moved in response.

The power burst out of them and it is greater than when they had fought the four monsters.

This is not surprising; the monsters attack them when they were comprehending. Their laws had become powerful, by that, but not all gains were realised.

The few hours gave them a chance to do that.

Though, by tomorrow and next month, their comprehension would rise faster than usual until they digest all the gains.

They begin to fight the monsters.

Those monsters are strong, but they have found each their attacks being met smoothly and soon, the cuts begin to appear on the monsters.

They could have killed them in a few seconds, but they are using the monsters to refine the gains they had.

A few minutes passed and the man finally finished the monsters. He looked at the woman for a moment, before walking toward me.

The woman on the other hand is still fighting.

Those poor monsters are trying to escape, but she is not letting them. She is fighting them, using her laws and the energy.

"Those monsters really messed things up. I needed another day to comprehend the law and collect the resources. I was barely able to collect a few of them," he said with his tone full of regret.

"You were able to leave with your life Prime Tamar, that is the most important thing." I replied and the nodded.

"I am, but I want the resources as well," he said and burst of green crystal came out of the ground covered me till my lips.

I tried to avoid it, but it is extremely fast. It covered me, before I could even move an inch. The move not only bound me, but also supressed me.

A shock appeared on my face; even the woman stopped.

The monster used that opportunity to run away with their tails tucked between their legs, but she didn’t.

"Prime Vanis, what are you doing?" asked the woman, voice filled with the shock. He didn’t reply. Instead, turned toward me with a smile on his face.

"I hope, you will give me all the resources you have, Prime Arys. The ones you have harvested here and also in realm," he said.

"I have saved you," I said, before shaking my head. "It was all act," I corrected. This time, it is the man who shook his head.

"It was not, I really needed help. This is my trump card; I could not keep it for more than a minute and only on single person. So, you really did save me and for it, I am grateful," he replied, before suddenly turning to woman.

"Don’t come closer, Prime Dynvar. If you do, I will kill, good Prime Arys here," he warned, with a smile on his face.

"You wouldn’t want that wound you?" he asked. Stopping her on her track.

"Now, Prime Arys. Resources as I told you, I do not have much time. If you give resources within next five seconds, I will let you go or I will take them from your dead body," he threatened.

"You are one ungrateful man, Prime Tamar," I said and he grinned. "Three seconds," he replied.

I didn’t say anything further and just kept looking at him. A second passed and then another and another.

Soon the three seconds and over. The man sighed.

"It seemed like, I will have to take those resources from you dead body," he said and there is not a hint of regret in his eyes. Instead he seemed quite giddy about it.

I have come across very bad people, but he is one of worse of the sort.

The woman moved, but the man seemed to have expected it as the dome of dome green crystals formed over us, before he turned to me.

"I hope, you have as many as resources, our source from the realm claim," he said and willed the binding to crush me.

Crack Crack Crack!

There were a smile on his face as incredible pressure descended to crush me, but a moment later a shock appeared on his face as cracks begin to form.

I had comprehended a law of killing. I could sense the bad intentions, even if they are very masked.

So, I know this man has a bad intentions toward me. So, I prepared. One of preparations was the hidden energy around me.

His moved may be formed, but it is little with my energy and I just used it to crack his method.

Thud Thud Bang!

Soon, the cracks widened and the big chunks begin to fall on the earth, until I blasted it all apart.

"Let me go and I will give you all my resources," he said, taking a step back. He is smart, knowing he failed, he is willing to give up everything for his life.
