Chapter 4539: Silver Primes

Chapter 4539: Silver Primes

"It’s time," said Dynvar as the sun went down. I nodded and got up before following her out of the house.

I have been here in the living room, talking with Dynvar.

I don’t usually spend so much time with others, but she was easy to talk to beside me. I didn’t want to do anything, including lying on the bed or sofa while I worked on my core.

Here, I need to take every step carefully and not do the opposite by walking into the snake’s den.

The Silver Prime; they are extremely powerful and would be watching my every move. It is why all my clones would be watching my every movement, looking at every word before I spoke.

I looked at the organisation below me, and its beautiful, with a lot of people outside.

It is evening, the time when people come out of their houses.

I watched them as I flew with the Dynvar; I don’t know our destination, nor did I ask. As I had said before, if they want to harm me, it won’t matter where I am in the organisation.

Soon, we reached the restricted area, where those below the Primes didn’t seem to be allowed.

It has a lot fewer buildings, but even the smallest one seemed to have very powerful formations covering it.

A few seconds passed, and I saw someone coming toward us. Seeing the man, Dynvar’s expressions hardened for a fraction of seconds before they returned to normal.

It didn’t take long for the handsome man to appear close to us, before appearing beside us.

He is a human, but has glowing blue lines across his body. He is not a pure human. His other half is another race, a powerful race.

The man isn’t weak either; he is a Peak Prime and a powerful one at that.

"Dynvar, it’s been a while," he said with a cheerful smile. "It is, Prime Aeras," she replied. Her voice is neutral; one couldn’t tell the emotion it has.

Though he didn’t seem to affect the man, the cheerful smile remained on his face.

He looked at her for a moment longer before turning to me. "You must be Prime Arys, I have heard so much about you," he said.

"So, have I," I replied. His eyes turned to Dynvar for a fraction of a second before turning to me.

"I hope it’s all good things?" he asked. "Most of them are," I replied, and the surprise appeared on the man’s face. He likely expected to say yes out of politeness.

A moment passed, and he grinned.

"Tomorrow, we will meet again, Prime Silver. It’s nice to see you again, Dynvar," he said, and flew away after she nodded.

For a moment, we stayed in her spot before flying toward our destination.

"Anything you should know about him?" I asked. She knows him the best; he is her ex-husband. "You are intelligent enough not to let his sweet words affect you," she replied.

It means I should be careful with his words.

Most of the words I heard about the man are good things. There are some bad things, but that is only normal. If I had only heard good, then I would have been really suspicious.

A few minutes passed, and we reached the top of which is white marble.

Thud!

We flew toward it before landing there, with seven people of all races and ages, all at the same level.

"Silver Primes," I greeted with a faint bow.

They turned to me, and I could relieve the pressure. They are not using any aura or power, but their gazes held the weight; it took all my will not to react to it.

It would have been easier if they had used their aura or power instead of this invisible authority.

They looked at me and the runes floating around on my body. It seemed to make them more curious than me, which isn’t surprising.

They do not fear me, but they fear the runes that made me as I am projecting.

"Prime Arys, you have taken your sweet time to meet us." Said the bald man with blue skin. "I want to come earlier, my lords, but I have something to finish," I replied with a smile.

"You are an enigma, Prime Arys. It had made us all very curious about you," said the woman with a long, misty tail.

"I am an open book, Lady Sacra. There is no mystery about me," I replied to that. The woman rolled her eyes.

I may be smiling right now, but there is a shudder going on in my heart. They are curious about me, and that is a bad thing; this is not what I wanted.

I wanted this soiree to be quick.

I wanted to finish it in an hour and get out, but look at the venue and the way they are looking at me, achieving that wouldn’t be possible.

Still, I will try to do that without arousing any deadly suspicion from these smiling monsters.

"So, tell me about this predicament you are in. How did you get yourself into this?" asked Ruby Stoneskin, a beautiful man.

"That is a very personal question, Lord Vayis," said Dynvar sternly. To that, the man smiled, but his eyes never left me.

"It’s nothing too complicated, Prime Vayis. I went to a place I shouldn’t have and killed the person, I shouldn’t have," I replied straightforwardly, which seemed to surprise some of them.

"So you got it from the person?" asked Sacra. I didn’t reply aside from smiling.

They aren’t the only ones who could have fun; I am too.

I have clearly implied that I had gotten after killing a person. So, if they do something to me, they might get it as well, but there is also a real possibility that I am lying.

Creating a deterrence. So, they would not dare to harm me.

They understood it as they grinned, and I grinned back. "You are everything we heard about you, Prime Arys," said tall Silver Prime.
