Chapter 4540: Silver Primes II

Chapter 4540: Silver Primes II

"So, what is your plan, Prime Arys?" asked Vayis, with eyes of Silver Prime’s lighting.

"You have stayed in our dominion for years. It is good, and we would be more than happy if you could make it your home, and even happier if you join us here," offered Sacra.

I know, this question is coming. So, I smiled politely before opening my mouth.

"It’s a wonderful offer, and I would have accepted it if I didn’t have a few things to do and opportunities to explore," I replied.

"We could provide you with a lot of opportunities, one of the best in the whole world," said Stoneskin Prime.

"That I have no doubt, but they are related to this affliction of mine. I have a hope that it might be able to help me in some way," I replied, looking at the runes, with a voice filled with hope.

Many sighed, hearing that.

"It must be torturous to live like this. Despite being so powerful, you are not able to use all your strength and the laws," said Perign. The woman had beautiful purple feathered wings.

It is the most common statement made by the people who meet me.

I could see them shuddering inside when they asked it. It is torturous for them to even think about it.

"You get used to it," I replied after a moment of silence.

Their eyes turned heavy with some shuddering. All of them have achieved their power through great struggle. They wouldn’t want to suffer the fate that I am supposedly suffering.

Nobody does, not even I.

Already wearing this persona all the time is unbearable. I could not afford to slip even once. If I had my power locked by some powerful formation, it would have been torturous.

"Then we will not stop you, but remember, the gates of our territory and organisation will always be open for you," said Sacra.

"I will not forget it," I replied.

This is not out of politeness. I enjoyed my time here. If it had not been so dangerous with Silver and Golden Prime, I would have thought about staying here.

With them, there is no chance I would stay.

I wouldn’t have stayed if I didn’t have the vast ocean to cross. It would be a dangerous journey, and the power given to me by my new breakthrough is going to make it much safer for me.

Soon, the rapid questions are over, and I begin to mingle with the Silver Prime individually.

They are powerful individual with a lot of experience. I am learning a lot from them. They are a lot more open than they are with primes.

To them, I am Silver Prime, whose powers are suppressed. So, they are talking about things they wouldn’t with the primes.

Still, I wouldn’t have been able to keep up with the conversation, but if I didn’t have some knowledge of those things.

I have read a lot in the library, along with many books, I found in the storage of the people I have killed and looted. So, I know quite a lot.

Given the sheer knowledge in the library. I might know more than these people.

Still, I remained vague on purpose. I understood very well that theory and practice are two different things. These people have experienced what I have only read.

Hell, I am still Sky Sovereigns while these Silver Primes; there are two levels of difference between us.

"I heard you are quite a wine craftsman, Prime Silver. I am hoping, you would craft some for me," said the middle-aged looking Prime.

"My apologies, Lord Bylvaris, but I am leaving in a few days. It’s not enough time to craft a wine," I apologised.

It surprised the man. He didn’t think I would reject his request, which took him a moment longer to control his expressions.

"I believe you could delay your trip for a while," he said, bringing a smile to his face. Once more, I shook my head. "I really can’t, I have already delayed it enough," I replied.

"Though I would be more than happy to provide you with my recipes and yeast," I offered.

"I would prefer, if you do that," he pressed with his expression turning serious. "I can’t," I replied with my tone, becoming firmer as well.

"You did it for Dynvar and even your grandmother. Do you not respect me enough, Prime Silver?" he asked, with a smile, but had a threat laced in it.

"Prime Dynvar is a friend, you are not Prime Bylvaris. Besides, as I had said, I am leaving, I do not have time," I replied and walked away from the man.

I should have been polite, but the man irked me. He is just like a grandson in the morning, pushy.

Besides, if I had accepted his request, I would have had to accept the requests of all Silver Primes, not just the seven here.

The primes also would have requested it.

"That seemed a little tense," said Dynvar as she appeared beside me. "It was not," I replied. She looked like she didn’t believe me, but seeing my expression, she didn’t ask any further.

She isn’t the only one who has noticed an exchange. Others did too. So, it’s better not to talk about it here.

I am sure she will ask me about it again after we get back to her house.

Two hours passed, and finally the soiree ended, and we flew back out of the hill. I will meet the Silver Primes again, as many had invited me to their homes.

I could not reject it.

I had already expected it and prepared the measures, which I will tighten even further.

I am going to be here for a few days, and I don’t want to. I want to leave as soon as possible. It’s beautiful places, and Dynvar had been an amazing host, but it’s dangerous for me.

If it had not looked suspicious, I would have left within the day, but unfortunately, I need to stay for at least a few days before leaving.
