Chapter 2070: 24.331 Sixth Violet Star - Human Race freed from control of the Marshal.

After learning from the Lord Guardian what happened to the human marshal Gu Ying during their encounter, Lord Prophet Heri truly didn’t expect that the man would be dragged to the dream realm. Now that he had suddenly disappeared thanks to that white orb from before, everyone had to prepare for when the man came out from the dream realm. Even though it was almost impossible for a mortal to escape that dream without dying, Marshal Gu Ying was never human in the first place so everyone also anticipated that he would be able to escape from the dream realm though it was unknown when that would happen.

Lord Prophet Heri said, "Now that he is locked in another realm, we should find a way to create another barrier. It doesn’t have to be so big but at least big enough to allow all of the living in this forest to be protected."

"We should ask the Spirit Race to help now. This time we can only do what we can to survive," said the Lord Guardian.

Lord Vega looked at his Elemental Emperor Greene asking her to inform their Spirit God that it is time for them to make their move. The Spirit God Thorn was summoned and together with him the other Elemental Emperors under his command were also gathered except for the Elemental Emperor of the forests, Lord Tree. The others had all arrived with the God of all Spirits, Thorn. The massive spirit door hovering above the Ancient forest had finally descended. Elemental Emperor of the Wind, Lord Greene had made some gestures and poured her qi on it only then did the spirit door open.

Once the door had opened, a few figures had come out of it. The one in lead is none other than Xue Laira’s father and the ruler of the Spirit Realm, Lord Thorn. The arrival of the handsome god left those who were watching the scene fell in awe. Though they knew that the Spirit Race was on their side, no one had truly seen the appearance of the Spirit God until the day the other gods of this world materialized that day.

Spirit God Thorn’s eyes wandered in the tribe upon smelling a strong scent of blood and narrowed his eyes upon seeing that no one among those who were present were wounded. So he couldn’t understand the existence of this bloody scent lingering in the area which made him disgusted. He already knew that the beastmen race had some plan to stall the Marshal, Gu Ying, though he didn’t ask how they did it. That fact that he can’t sense that human’s presence says that they had truly done their part.

{Greene, disperse the scent of blood,} The Spirit God commanded and even the Elemental Emperor of the Wind, Lord Greene can only listen to his order.

The Elemental Emperor of the Wind controlled the wind to disperse the lingering scent in the whole forest while the God of all Spirits descended before the Beastmen race’s Lord Guardian and Lord Prophet.

{It seems you were successful as you told me. Since there is no presence of that evil being, will we create the barrier now. Is the barrier going to be for the whole forest or...}

"Not the whole forest, Lord Thorn. Just around this tribe village and the land behind us. The human marshal was sealed temporarily but the coordinates remain at the Outer region of the ancient forest, if he escaped from that realm, he will have to reappear where he was sucked in," said the Lord Prophet Heri as he leans to her mate’s shoulder for a rest.

The Spirit God said, {Alright. We will use the Five color Elemental Barrier to protect the Core region of the ancient forest. But I came to warn you about one thing... If that thing inside that human marshal’s body is not an evil being the barrier can be broken. Of course, if it was stronger than I am, it would also break. When that happens you will have to use the hidden trump cards your royal family possessed.}

"I understand. I will definitely not hold back, if something out of control truly happens. As promised, like you had protected us we will also protect you with our lives!" The Lord Guardian and the Lord Prophet said.

Seeing the Beastmen like this the God of all spirits felt that his daughter was indeed correct. Not all mortals are useless and evil. Even though they weren’t as purehearted as the elementals born in the Spirit realm, there are still those who were born among them that kept their promise, it just happens that this race before him seems to be one of those rare individuals.

The Spirit God smiled and then turned to command all the spirit of his realm to erect a barrier around this central region. As per requested, they made sure it was as strong as the former barrier created by the God of Destruction. With all elements working together and even the Spirit God himself making a move, a barrier was made to protect the remaining members of the alliance and the spirit race.

However, before the whole barrier was created, the remnant humans who got freed from the human marshal’s control after he had disappeared into another realm approached their tribe. They all looked haggard and dying, even some soldiers who had recalled what they had done when they were controlled had all turned into despair. Killing their families, killing the innocent and even harming the young ones. They couldn’t forgive themselves even though it wasn’t entirely their own fault. There were some who had gone insane on the spot and some who had gathered to check the rest who might have survived in this conflict.

Humans are hard to exterminate and as expected the survivor approached the vicinity of the tribe’s territory. It didn’t take long for the other race to notice them.

"Uncle, there are some humans near the tribe lands!"

"Go report it to the Lord Prophet and the Lord Guardian!"

"Don’t come closer!"

"Humans! Don’t you dare come over!?"

Some of those from logistics and can’t fight just grab whatever is near them and try to stop the humans from approaching their land. This is their home and they didn’t want it to be destroyed by this insane race who caused the alliance to be broken and for the situation to end. Currently, the one in lead is among the lucky human soldiers who had survived in the last clash of the two factions. The one in lead is a familiar face. It was a human general called Lei Shen.

Of course, he no longer has the dignified version of himself when he had first appeared before this place. Only a few of his soldiers had survived and most of them had gone insane with everything they had remembered, especially what they had done under the control of Marshal Gu Ying. Once Marshal Gu Ying had cut off their connections, they’ve started to remember everything at this point. All the heinous sins which no one can forgive, every evil thing they had done under the commands of Marsha Gu Ying.

Even though they regret, what is done is done. It cannot be easily resolved yet at the same time General Lei Shen didn’t want to give up. This is their biggest chance to apologize. They can only thicken their faces to beg for forgiveness. Just as some people who were dwarfs and elves who had lost their kingdom and land see these humans, they’ve started throwing things at them. Some soldiers were even hit by the rocks.

"Leave! You are not welcome here!"

"You’ve destroyed our kingdom. How dare you show your faces!?"

"Fucking scram!!!"

The enraged voices of the other races towards the humans were too painful to bear. None of these human soldiers were angry by their reactions and just quietly accepted everything. Their sins are too heavy to be forgiven and these people from the other races might not be able to accept them at all. However, for the sake of those who had survived from their side, begging for their sakes alone was enough for these soldiers to bear all the pain and humiliation they are suffering for right now.

Just before the human soldiers were about to be hit by the others with their weapon or whatever the residents of the forest had picked, Lord Guardian and the Lord Prophet had finally arrived.

The Lord Guardian shouted, "Stop at once! Everyone is to retreat to their homes! This is an order!"

Upon hearing the command from their Lord Guardian everyone had temporarily retreated to their homes but still peek through the slit of their doors and windows. Meanwhile, the Lord Guardian and the Lord Prophet look at the small group of human soldiers that gathered before their land. General Lei Shen recognized the face of Lord Guardian Vega and knew that he is the commander of this faction when they were at war before.

The Lord Guardian asked, "What are you here? Have you woken up from that man’s control?"

Once this question was asked, the soldiers including General Lei Shen had fallen on their knees before the two men that are most likely the leader of this faction and kowtowed.

"We apologized for everything we have done. We are sorry!!!"
