Chapter 1354: Update 4's Details 2
Even as they themselves read this, the Evil Trio couldn't help but take a deep breath.
Utterly tyrannical!
Even that world famous mustached painter would have to bow before the Evil Trio when it came to oppression and subjugation of the perceived 'non-chosen' ones!
The worst part was that due to the relation between the AI and Draco, it had imported these external rules into Boundless, making them universal law!
Of course, enforcement of them depended on the humans themselves, but this was not a big deal for the most part.
Now let us move to the reactions of the NPCs…
MOTHERFUCKER!
The NPCs roared this as they mentally tore this bullshit charter to pieces in their heads!
Why bother with these rules? Why not come and bend them over and fuck them in the ass instead?!
What nonsense was this? One day they were doing just fine and the next, the human race decided that it was sovereign of the entire universe? The same human race who could barely deal with the Demon Race back then?!
But no, the human race of Boundless were also confused and puzzled, because they found that they were not included in the charter. When they did more research into it, the AI clarified that 'Chaotic Human Race' was actually referring to the Immortal Adventurers… the players!
No wonder!!
So it was those blasted fellows!!
But… this was a problem.
The faces of many top NPCs became gloomy. Already, Vita Divine Empire and Umbra ruled over about 90% of the known world, so being and creatures within that area were not much bothered by this charter.
It was basically the same as Vita Divine Empire's own laws, only that they now knew that Immortal Adventurers were also called Chaotic Humans.
Haha.
Of course, for those resisting or not yet within Vita's sight, they were not amused in the least. Chief of them were the True Gods in the Divine Realm from the Monster Pantheon, the remnants of the Pantheon of Power and the Supreme Pantheon.
These groups instantly called large meetings to discuss how to treat this nonsense charter, and you could be sure that the resolutions were not kind towards the players at all.
As for the 'Chaotic Humans' who logged in excitedly after the update was done, they were speechless, whether new player coming in after the free distribution of helmets or an old player familiar with the lore of the Western Fantasy section.
Their jaws couldn't help but drop at the audacity of their supreme trio. This was not different from declaring war on all NPCs and monsters, telling them to either tow the line or be killed to set an example!
However, after the shock came a huge burst of excitement.
This was it, this was what they wanted to see! Their human race were once the rulers of an entire galaxy, how could they always be beholden to a bunch of damned computer programs?!
Everyone had to bow down before humanity, who were created in the image of God!
Grr, to think that they actually had to swallow this down… was there no one who could deal with the malicious Vita Divine Empire?!
That wasn't all too, as there was the update of the new World Event that Draco announced during the Summit Meeting.

Just looking at this, players around the world were filled with emotions that were hard to describe. Newer fellows who just got their helmets and logged felt that this event was pretty interested, clenching their fists as they swore to work hard and catch up to their 'seniors' who had been playing the game far longer than they had.
Meanwhile, these 'seniors' were currently clutching their chests with a mixture of pain and joy, pain because of the suffering they had undergone all these years under the hands of the tyrannical AI in terms of exp gain rate and joy because they had finally been liberated from the hands of that tyrant young mistress by the gallant and handsome God King!
Praise Draco! Praise Draco!
The event itself was quite simple and could be launched right away. Ever since the 10 year break the Evil Trio took, the initial war of extinction event had long come to an end and players were no longer forced to squeeze into a corner, most having join Vita Divine Empire to make their living.
However, Lucifer was very petty and never forgot the slight of the players mostly choosing to join the Power Faction back then, so many players did not even have basic human rights or citizenship in Vita Divine Empire compared to NPCs, leading to them living miserable lives.
Now though, the Supreme Human League had fixed all that, giving everyone an equal start if they were not already entrenched in Umbra and Vita's folds. With an event like this in player, it did not matter if you took the fighter path or the Tradeskill path, as long as you worked hard, you would be able to grow sufficiently and gain the necessary power.
Now that the AI could even handle Divine Rank players, it should be said that reaching Rank 7 for them wouldn't be as hard as it was for the members of Umbra. After all, even the weakest member of Umbra had an Epic class with a full Semi-Legendary set which could be upgraded to the Legendary Rank with experience points.
The requirements for such fellows was obviously much greater than for fellows with Common, Rare or Semi-Epic classes that formed the masses.
But wait, if Umbra already controlled most of the known world, then what were these nearly 7 billion players supposed to fight against to gain levels? If this was before Umbra conquered the main plane and unified the world, then that would be fine, but what were there left to fight?
The sea creatures? While many of them have become the main hunting targets of players in Vita's territories, the maritime exploits were still slightly inferior to land ones because the sea was the sea. Unless one had a water based class, they were face severe penalties fighting on the sea from boats or underwater, so very few could actually benefit from the rich resource that was the sea.
Well, the answer came from the next new addition of the update, which particularly concerned the Evil Trio more than anything else, because not only was it entirely new - not seen in any of the seven updates of the previous timeline - but it also had terrifying implications!
Realm Wars were a step up from Guild Wars of Update one and Kingdom Wars of Update 2.
Because Realm Wars involved the fusion of realms!
It was an established fact that in the lore of the Western Fantasy section, the world had been brutally split up by various historical events. First was the crisis of the Origin Gods, which necessitated them to separate the core plane of the Western Fantasy universe so that they could focus on stabilizing the unstable realm that was growing faster than it could produce.
Then was the War of the Old Era, where the Divine Realm - which was a new plane created by the True Gods to seclude themselves from mortal kind, was engulfed in war due to the Dragon Race's status, which lead to the main plane even being greatly fractured, creating various small worlds that orbited around it.
Eva's old Plains of the Colossus Divine Dungeon was precisely the 'storyline' of a rather unique small world out there while the Devil Realm and the Demon Realm were super large small words that had evolved into Side Realms, planes with just one step away from becoming true worlds of their own.
In the previous timeline, Draco and Eva's grudge match intensified due to external pressure from the companies backing them, demanding that they source a special item… the Orb of Worlds. This item was eventually claimed by Draco but before he could even use it, he had been assassinated and reincarnated.
Draco now remembered with narrowed eyes that there had been talks of a new change related to the realms surrounding the main plane in the then upcoming Update 8, which was why the companies were scrambling to take the lead by having an item that could let them traverse these zones.
It seems that Draco's actions had theoretically halved the time needed for this as it had come out in Update 4 instead of Update 8.
Realm Wars were simple, the Western Fantasy world was fractured and could not support divine beings living on the main plane en masse while the Divine Realm was off limits due to the grey rot's antics up there.
So in order for players to ascend to the Divine Realm and fortify the main plane, all lost fragments must be returned to the source, therefor empowering the main plane and allowing it to hold stronger beings, more content and make growth faster for everyone.
But these 'lost fragments' now had their own races, rules and societies and would definitely not willing to be swallowed up by the main plane, so how to take them back?
Maybe a… Realm War?
