Chapter 1255: Battle against the Sea Fiend Cave

When Freida heard her son’s words, the smile on her face disappeared. She narrowed her eyes, and her aura began to rise.

"What do you mean by that?" she asked sternly.

"I want to get stronger. I want to participate in battle and fight the monsters of the Sea Fiend Cave. That’s the only way to grow faster," Fadu said with burning determination.

Freida simply stared at her son. As both a mother and the Matriarch of the Household, she knew that her son had been training hard over the past few days.

The family had resources, so her son would surely grow stronger in the future. However, even with the vast resources of the family, it would take years before Fadu could achieve a strength she considered average.

"Mother, please! I don’t want to repeat what happened before," Fadu said as he bowed his head.

Hearing her son’s pleading tone, Freida’s heart softened. It was her first time seeing him this determined.

The Sea Fiend Cave was not a weak force; it possessed considerable strength.

Dispatching four elders along with several dozen elites should be enough to repel those monsters, but there was no guarantee that no one would die.

The risk was high, so Freida felt apprehensive about her son’s request.

"Please, Mother! I want to grow stronger!" Fadu said once more.

Freida stared at her son and sighed. "Fine, you can participate in the battle, but you must listen to the elders. You must not act recklessly there."

"Thank you, Mother." Fadu beamed with a huge smile.

Freida smiled helplessly at her son. She looked toward the door and said, "Atos, I know you’re there. You’re my son’s bodyguard, so I trust that you will protect him."

"I understand, Madam." Souta’s voice echoed.

With Freida’s senses, it was impossible for her not to notice Souta, even if he deliberately concealed his presence. She already knew that Souta had been following her son.

Freida looked back at her son and said, "You can go now. Don’t act rashly and listen to the orders. Remember my words."

"I know, Mother!" Fadu waved as he left the room.

Watching her son’s back, Freida sighed.

With a fifth-stage monster protecting her son, she could ease her worries. The four elders she had dispatched were enough to handle the fifth-stage monster of the Sea Fiend Cave. With the added support from the City Lord, it was overkill.

Fadu exited the room with a huge smile on his face.

"Master, Mother agreed to let me join the battle!" His voice was filled with excitement, and his eyes burned with determination.

Souta appeared and said, "It’s too early to celebrate. You have to stay calm. Also, I’m not your master."

"I have to fight." Fadu clenched both fists.

Souta stared at Fadu’s back and smiled inwardly. It was easy to manipulate this kid, but he had to be careful of his mother.

In a long passage, hundreds of monsters gathered. Each of them possessed a murderous aura that prevented other beings from approaching.

They were the monsters of the Sea Fiend Cave.

"Anyone who wishes to pass through this gate must pay!!"

A fourth-stage monster resembling a squid roared.

With his order, the City Guards behind him rushed forward. Their energy surged, causing the area to tremble.

More than a hundred City Guards, with average strength at the First Shackle and Second Shackle Realms, charged toward the monsters of the Sea Fiend Cave.

The intense collision sent powerful shockwaves in all directions. Hundreds of monsters fought back against the City Guards, their attacks triggering massive explosions that shook the entire area.

The four elders of the Rulman Household frowned.

"The eastern gate...! We have to protect it!"

The four elders moved. Two of them focused on containing the aftershocks of the battle, while the other two leaped into the enemy ranks, slaughtering the monsters in their path.

A powerful explosion and a surge of energy erupted in the distance.

Souta turned his head, and an amused smile formed on his face.

"A fifth-stage monster..." he muttered.

In the distance, a strange wave swept out, causing ripples across the waters. The four elders blocked this wave, preventing it from destroying the eastern gate.

If the eastern gate collapsed, the water would rush inside and flood the entire Bubble Region.

"He appeared." One of the elders of the Rulman Household muttered with a frown.

Boom!!

The City Lord shot forward as he collided with a red whale measuring three hundred meters in length. This whale was the fifth-stage monster of the Sea Fiend Cave.

The collision between the City Lord and the fifth-stage monster sent waves of intense energy rippling through the surrounding area.

The red whale opened its massive mouth and fired an energy beam. The City Lord conjured several layers of barriers, but the moment the beam struck them, his expression changed. One by one, the barriers shattered under the might of the attack.

The City Lord realized that he alone could not handle the red whale.

"Do you really want to do this, Ars?!" the City Lord roared.

The red whale, known as Ars, sneered and said, "Yes. The entire Wave Bond City will be in my hands today."

In the next second, two of the four elders rushed toward the red whale from both sides. They drew their weapons as their elemental energy erupted like a tidal wave.

"Don’t hold back! Ars is already close to reaching the Advanced Fifth Stage!! If we want to defeat him, we have to use everything we’ve got!" one of the elders shouted.
