Chapter 1838 Chapter 1831: Final Act (5)

1838 Chapter 1831: Final Act (5)

The Utmost Purity Galaxy began to roar to life as outsiders from beyond the galaxy descended under the instructions and supervision of the Incandescent Star Palace, shaking the various Zenith Towers as they all received the same news as Heaven-Saint Fusing Souls with varied reactions. As for permitting these foreigners to spectate this clash, none of them had any objections—they were supremely confident.

They had already intended for the event to have witnesses of prominent and prestigious status, so demonstrating their alchemical superiority against the troublemaking foreigner would only reinforce their unshakeable positions within the hearts and souls of all spectators. If they refused to allow their attendance, they would only be openly admitting to their fear, further damning their images for a brief moment, regardless of the final result.

Since they were naturally unwilling to take even a single step back and damage their image against a foreigner, they genuinely accommodated the process after the Incandescent Star Palace brought together the proposal.

As for Su Yi's matter, this was further placed to the side, especially after the list of attendees. The Buried Sword Galaxy had sparked all sorts of conclusions unbeknownst To those ignorant of its history. Of the six lesser galaxies, those from the Buried Sword Galaxy were subtly given a little more freedom by the Zeniths, carefully and silently allowing the Incandescent Star Palace to push their duties as host.

-----

CLAP!

Wei Wuyin slammed his palms together in front of a mirror. It was oval and large with a silvery frame, capturing his entire form. Wei Xiaotian's personally designed outfit of silver, white, and black robes was on full display, encapsulating the unique qualities of any Alchemist and Martial Artist with an incomparably synergistic mesh of designs. Whether it was the vambraces protecting his forearms or the eighteen defiant dragons guarding a treasured, root-growing cauldron design etched within its metallic form, Wei Wuyin enjoyed every detail. It felt intimate, representing a single existence—himself.

The longer Wei Wuyin wore this outfit, the greater it felt. Perhaps it was because Wei Xiaotian had designed it, or that it had signified his start of entering into a greater playing field on the level of Supreme Existences.

"The Alchemic Clash will begin in seven hours. Things are moving fast." Just a few seconds ago, details had been finalized and ironed out by the Zeniths after the introduction of a new audience. This had changed a few things for them, but it was always Wei Wuyin's intention.

The six lesser galaxies were the nearest galaxies to the Holy Void of Fortune's Utmost Purity Galaxy, the quad-cluster of greater galaxies, which included the Resolute Dusk Galaxy. While mostly absent due to a variety of intense changes and transformations during the establishment of Void Altars, the representatives of Imentet, Pakhet, Nepit, and Nepri were more than sufficient.

Except, there was an outlier.

Six—six lesser galaxies were close to the Utmost Purity Galaxy. If the Resolute Dusk Galaxy was excluded, that would only leave five. However, there were six external galactic visitors. Not five.

So, who was the outlier? None other than the Buried Sword Galaxy!

They were much further out, and Wei Wuyin had no intention to contact them. In a way, the timing was purely coincidental. This type of development was unexpected for another party that wasn't invited to crash by incidental design, masquerading as invitees of the Incandescent Star Palace. When Wei Wuyin inquired about their situation, they had paid a hefty price to send a party over, which included a Sage.

This was thought-provoking, but based on the timing of their urgent purchase of transport and deliberately paying an additional sum for discretion, they certainly related to Su Yi. But how exactly?

There was yet another surprise. Sage River Oasis carrying the goods for trade to act as a representative, ambassador, and designated shopper for the Resolute Dusk Galaxy, had just concluded her multi-year-long venture across the Dark Void and arrived in the Utmost Purity Galaxy.

Imentet, Nepit, and Nepri were already en route to welcome her. This external Sage of the Resolute Dusk Galaxy acted as the safe proxy for their business, largely out of fear of segregating the eight of them. That fear, however, was discarded after becoming Wei Wuyin's vassal galaxy, and with Pakhet becoming his Alchemic Knight, how could they not take this opportunity to follow a Grand-tier Worldly Saint Alchemist with an astonishingly growing legend across the starry skies?

Moreover, they were keenly aware of the truth about Wei Wuyin's cultivation base!

"You've achieved your goal already with great success," the Heavenly War Spirit gently reminded, her tone soft and curious as she asked: "Do you think you can defeat these Heavenly Saint Alchemists in an Alchemic Clash?" Her question was not without justification. The difference between Heavenly Saint Alchemists and Worldly Saint Alchemists was as great as the chasm between the sky and the ground, or better yet, as great as the Resonant Soul Realm and Mystic Ascendant Realm. Utterly outrageous.

Wei Wuyin lightly breathed out, not a single iota of turbidity within. Staring at his reflection, those silvery eyes looked back with a firm, unshakeable will. The same will that had been cultivated since the day that evil cultivator dared to challenge the heavens on the plains of the Myriad Yore Continent. The same will that was tried and tested again and again against Hell and the potential future, besieged by doubts and agonizing pain that he refused to suffer.

It was the same will that refused to drink only a drop of rain, but desired to swallow the entire cloud whole. It was ravenous, unrelenting, and unyielding. Gluttonous to an extreme, fueled by pride in himself and the primal hunger of lust.

"I've chosen this path for myself. If I had never had the thought, I would accept the outcome of losing…

"...but now that I've entertained the thought of victory, my heart and soul will allow nothing less. If I fail, I won't shatter. But I will succeed, because I can't shatter. Not now. Not ever." Wei Wuyin's words resonated as the aura of mortality, unfathomability, and eternity thrummed in his voice, orchestrating fantastic music originating from his True Soul.

"..." The Heavenly War Spirit had nothing else to say. She could only bear witness to Wei Wuyin's future and where his decisions inevitably landed him. Will this young man, barely over a hundred years old, be able to defy expectations and common sense yet again?

After all, an Alchemic Clash did not allow handicaps; Wei Wuyin would have to concoct based on the selections made, whether they were Mystic-World or Mystic-Heaven grade products, he had to. That was the only path to victory.

The only path.

There were no special rules or exceptions that he could leverage for a victory. Alchemic Clashes were direct, contesting the Alchemic Dao of all parties against each other without restraint, testing not just skill, but fortune, and even accumulated wealth.

As she pondered on this with bated excitement, Wei Wuyin received a spiritual transmission, illuminating his Void Ring. It was a message from Suo Haoran: the venue for the Alchemic Clash had been chosen by majority rule—The Blank Dominion. It was a forbidden ground of the Utmost Purity Galaxy, a realm with characteristics akin to an Absolute Void Zone. It was a stage of true neutrality.

None of the Zeniths wanted to give the other Zeniths any advantage or leverage their environment, so they decided upon a neutral ground where gaining even the slightest advantage was almost impossible—almost. Absolute Void Zones were havens of comfort for Star-Devourers and Star Beasts, and strangely enough, Wei Wuyin had qualities of both—Anima-Devourer and True Void Dragon.

Looking back at his experience when nesting within the Absolute Void Region he had inadvertently created, using it as the base for his Original Dawn Palace, it was almost as if he had created it on an instinctual level.

As for the Blank Dominion, the location was the best for manipulating the flow of space and time freely, allowing excessively temporally-accelerated regions of space beyond the allowed limits of the River of Time. A region of exceptions, yet those limitations weren't placed without good reason.

Without proper preparation, concocting alchemical products would be a hellish experience for any alchemist, not counting the intention to establish an extreme accelerated temporal zone on top of those true neutral conditions. Perhaps this guided advantage was deliberate by the Heavenly Daos. He did wonder how these beings who wielded and commanded great strength and Supreme Existences were influenced.

"Almost everything's ready," Wei Wuyin closed his eyes as everything gradually fell into place with perfect precision.

Knock.

Just as he was reviewing potential outcomes for the Alchemic Clash, constructing further strategies to implement for the inevitable showdown of heavenly giants, the door was knocked on, alerting Wei Wuyin to a visitor. This was the Original Dawn Palace, and this was his bedroom where all sorts of sweet memories had unfolded.

"Come in," Wei Wuyin gestured with a wave of his hand. The door opened as if blown by a soft gust, revealing…
