1839 Chapter 1832: Final Act (6)
Refreshing.
Radiantly voluptuous.
Ravishing to every conceivable physical, mental, and spiritual sense there was out there with a bodacious body sufficient to be the origin of lustful sin itself.
Yue Songli.
As she entered the room barefoot, her toes wonderfully painted, with mesmerizing amethyst eyes that could ensnare the heart and ignite inner flames of men everywhere, she naturally attracted attention with no effort, as if all color and wonder were drawn to her.
Wei Wuyin observed her with a faint smile on his lips. The woman who was once caged blossomed under true freedom and phenomenal cultivation efforts. And it suited her.
While Yue Songli was no longer the sole Catalyst Body by his side, her importance in his heart never relied on that trait, nor would it ever. Xi Ning and Shang Wanqing were spontaneous bouts of heavenly fortune, yet out of the three, Yue Songli was the sole woman amongst them who was officially courted.
Moreover, her eyes radiated artistic beauty as if drawn by the unseen divinities of this world, revealing not a single ounce of inferior self-esteem; her self-worth was solid, and her position in Wei Wuyin's heart had long since become unshakeable. She was fully aware of this unchangeable truth.
She silently approached, holding Wei Wuyin's hands. As natural as a breath, they both sat at the edge of the bed, side by side, shoulder to shoulder, holding each other's hands as she looked forward, and Wei Wuyin gazed at her wonderful side profile. Strangely enough, Wei Wuyin felt as if time itself was gradually slowing down, and the rate and intensity of things were lowering without resistance. A calm peace took root in his heart. After a full sixty seconds, Wei Wuyin finally looked away and forward, observing the walls, intricate decorations, and lingering traces of tangible mana in the air. Soon, only the sounds of gentle breathing emanated from within the room.
A full six minutes later, Yue Songli softly spoke.
"I'm happy."
"..." Wei Wuyin's pupils widened slightly as his larger-than-average draconic heart thumped with a single thunderous throb. It was only two words—only two. Yet it was as resounding as a thunderclap in silent darkness to his ears, heart, and soul.
He felt a weight on his shoulder. Turning his gaze, he saw a head full of hair resting on his shoulder, a voluptuous, heaven-toppling, divinely-envied body leaning on him, and the scent of lilacs and honey milk swirling into his nostrils. Memories flashed across his mind.
That day, when he was taken to a room within a shadowy, shady Void Vessel, he saw a beautiful woman who would forever etch herself into his heart, masquerading her fear, loneliness, and despondent emotions under a visage of indifference and seduction. Those vividly drawn depictions of art exposed her heart.
That day, when he brought along a great army into a besieged starfield, and dared to assert absolute dominance for a single woman, refusing to forget her or back down, no matter who wanted to harm her and for whatever purpose.
That day, when he proudly and properly declared that she, Yue Songli, was his woman. Reminding her that she was not an afterthought, not forgotten, and never abandoned.
As he observed this stellar region-tier ravaging beauty whose body was desired by Sages, enough to trigger wars, Wei Wuyin felt a deluge of emotions, his gaze softening.
Yue Songli's soft voice slowly came out, "I'm so proud of you." Her hand tightened around his.
Yue Songli knew that no one was aware, nor would they believe, that his actions thus far had largely been for her. She recalled his words, the sweetness of love in her heart amplifying, and her heart racing.
-----
Wei Wuyin held her hand a little firmer. "There." He pointed at the sky. The radiant sky covered in clouds parted into two. A starry sky emerged with glistening and colorful stars.
It resembled a great painting.
"I'm going to take you to see a world unlike this one. A world beyond ours. Out there, you'll experience wondrously magical scenes. Meet unfathomably powerful cultivators. Eat mysteriously delicious or perhaps even disgusting food. I'll find a landscape of great beauty and presence, and then…I'll…"
"I can't wait to see the painting you leave then. So for the next two years, that'll be our date. What do you think?"
"As cultivators, why do things normally? That said, there will be times when I'll have to do some things and be away for short periods. So we can consider that, at minimum, three different things must be done within those two years for it to be considered a complete date. One: we see a scene of great wonder and phenomena together."
"Two: we'll have a banquet of powerful, influential cultivators far beyond our levels. We'll both act as hosts to these cultivators from a world beyond ours. There, we'll try food from all over the various societies and civilizations of cultivation! Enjoy great wine and boisterous or refined entertainment."
"Three: Unity."
-----
Yue Songli's cheeks blushed lightly with a pink hue, bestowing her with an unsurpassed attractive charm. Wei Wuyin had never done anything ordinary it seems, surpassing every type of common sense one could have since she met the young man daring to bring her away from a five-hundred-year-old prison. Who would have a two-year date? And the scene? She'd seen scenes far beyond her imagination on this trip, time and time again.
Now, she had long since heard that the lesser galaxies were gathering under his invitation, brought here by illustrious promises. Every facet of this date was meticulously orchestrated, far exceeding her original assumptions or thoughts. He hadn't just expanded her horizons; he blew up her world's sky and showed her the vast starry sky in its most vivid state.
If she had any doubts before that Wei Wuyin treated her as just one of his lovers, ordinary and forgettable, every action thus far of his spoke volumes far surpassing any form of reasonable news. Without speaking, he etched into her heart his feelings with the clarity of the stars in the night sky.
She couldn't imagine where she could begin to return such feelings. All she had was her heart, body, and soul. She would give it all to him, every day, every minute, and every second she breathed—forever.
Yue Songli didn't say anything else. And from start to finish, Wei Wuyin had not spoken a single word. He didn't need to. Actions have always spoken louder than words since the dawn of creation, and Wei Wuyin was the epitome of action over words.
"I can't wait until the party is over…"
Yue Songli's words were so gentle and soft-spoken that they were akin to mere whispers from a mosquito, yet they carried her truest, most genuine feelings that slammed into Wei Wuyin's eardrums with the might and force of a dragon's raging roar. A unity between the artistic beauty and the defiant paragon.
However, before that could happen, Wei Wuyin would have to place the final bow on this play of his, this grand showcase of a young man who dared to challenge Hell and seize heaven's fortune, now facing the might and authority of galactic authority and the hegemons within.
Then, the world beyond his own would be ready to be claimed…
-----
Numerous dazzling, esoteric, and colorful Void Vessels dotted the starry skies of the Refining Skies Galactic Zone; the entire region was an anchoring zone for the spectators of the upcoming Alchemic Clash. While the public was largely ignorant of the exact details, the excuse of an Alchemic Discussion between Alchemic Saints witnessed by the Zeniths and participated by the most controversial figure currently, the Neo-Dawn Alchemic Saint, had more or less ensured that the curiosity of many were satisfied.
When the leaders of the various lesser galaxies gathered as opportunistic participants, vouched for by the Incandescent Star Palace, it was expected for the Zeniths to accommodate them by providing them with face to an extent. Perhaps they would otherwise show an indifferent attitude normally, but since it regarded the Neo-Dawn Alchemic Saint, it was hard for these forces to ignore.
This was especially so after reports of Long Shiya's disastrous fate were spread, whether with malicious intentions or not, by the various organizations renowned for information that Wei Wuyin and Long Shiya's clash left the latter depleted and injured, hiding within his Secret Realm while remaining highly guarded against any with unsavory intentions.
This emperor of a different galaxy possessed a strength that couldn't be casually ignored, even if the lesser galactic leaders weren't nearly as valued. After all, lesser galaxies most dealt with the institutions and academies, rarely did the Zenith Towers' leaders directly interacted with them. The Holy Void of Fortune was their main operational region, often involving Supreme Existences or pinnacle Ascended beings such as Sages and Enlightened Sages.
Meanwhile, not every lesser galaxy had Sages, akin to the Sky Heart Galaxy and the White Abyssal Galaxy. Most came from what the Zeniths would call 'barren lands' with unique features that were either too risky to assimilate or had heavy environmental restrictions. The Sky Heart Galaxy had the Prohibition of Heaven's Resonance, enough to scurry away any organization at the Original Magistrate level or higher, and they were the ones that often had the guile and gumption to venture into the Void-Blank Space of galaxies and survive with gains.
The Blank Dominion was located at the edge of the Refining Skies Galactic Zone's Void-Blank Space between Galactic Zones, a region that stood out to the naked eye. When one looked to the stars from a rotating planet, there would be a dark void where stars would occasionally disappear. As the planet spun on its axis, the dark void consumed all light, making it seem as if it had consumed the stars.
In the Utmost Purity Galaxy, the Blank Dominion's region that housed its realm was like the North Star of a certain world. As long as one paid enough attention to the constellations, they could easily figure out where the area that consumed all light was located. It was fixed.
It was a closed-off region that none dared to venture into without great reason or hopelessness. Now, numerous Void Vessels were numbering in the tens of thousands, not just those from the lesser galaxies, but the Utmost Purity Galaxy's original invitees were included in this number.
They were all hyped.
Beside the light devouring region was a seven-colored planet, created entirely by Alchemic Power. It was the artificial planet of the Zeniths, the Zenith World! This was a symbol of their involvement beyond a shadow of a doubt!
However, they were not located on this planet. While everyone had gathered together, they were not entering the Blank Dominion. The inhospitable conditions could be greatly detrimental to the talents of their youths, affecting their development, so they would be observing through a series of spiritual tablets linked to Wei Wuyin's Spiritual Network.
This network was used during the game of Mystics, and it would be utilized again here to bring forth the best experience of each spectator, allowing them to observe without missing a moment despite the extreme accelerated zone established within.
Amongst the Void Vessels was the Minor Elysium that housed the Neo-Dawn Alchemic Saint's wives, family, and subordinates, drawing many gazes that were filled with curiosity, envy, jealousy, and awe.
On the deck, not disguised by any concealment, were three unrivaled beauties that made the male Original Magistrates, Mystic Overlords, and Sages droll.
Several figures stood side by side, and not a single one of them was lacking in beauty or presence. The most notable amongst them, what really caught their attention, were the three women whose chests could rival the greatest mountains that all men sought to mount: Xi Ning, the resurrected beauty; Shang Wanqing, the princess of the Knight Dao; and lastly, Yue Songli, the publicly declared wife of the Neo-Dawn Alchemic Saint.
They were all Catalyst Bodies, each better than the last! What a bountiful display of fortune!
Qing Qiumu stood beside Yue Songli, cutting a pleasant figure as well, drawing numerous gazes as her elven physiology was similar to the rumored Celestials of The Battlefield. While she lacked the furry tails and starry gazes, her sharp, pointy ears and slender physique drew some similarities. Moreover, she was not one whit less beautiful and stacked than the three Catalyst Bodies!
Well, excluding Yue Songli, who exceeded all females present with ease in terms of bountiful assets. That was undeniable.
"Can Wei Wuyin win this?" Shang Wanqing asked softly.
"Without a doubt," Cao Cuifen firmly stated.
"Of course, hehe! My cousin's invincible," Wei Si chuckled.
"I've never seen him lose before. And I don't expect to see him lose here," Qing Qiumu mentioned with a smile. When had Wei Wuyin ever lost? At the very least, he would engineer a situation where winning wasn't a factor for any party.
That was his style.
Exactly his style.
The beautiful smile that blossomed on her face was unrivaled in belief.
-----
In the Blank Dominion, the seven Zeniths and their Dao Enforcers were present. They were shielded by their Dao Enforcers with their resonant qi, alleviating any discomfort.
Meanwhile, standing notably alone, unguarded and unprotected, was none other than the silver-eyed Wei Wuyin.
The epic clash of Seven Zeniths of the Alchemic Dao and a single mortal-mystic hybrid Emperor was about to begin.
A clash that will establish the momentum for an unprecedented future for the entire Holy Void of Fortune!
