1840 Chapter 1833: Final Act (7)

The Blank Dominion's realm lacked depth of color and substance, a flat, linear plane without any distinctive qualities, lacking breathable air, clouds, moisture, wind, and heat. The only exception was the light cascading within from every direction, establishing a blinding terrain that was hostile to the eyes.

The hardened surface acting as its foundation, what could loosely be considered hard ground, was heavily crystallized and dense Chaos Mana.

The Blank Dominion was akin to an Absolute Void Region's inner heart. It was said to be a region abandoned by the heavens, yet the laws of space and time existed in abundance.

Years ago, Wei Wuyin had questioned this quality of 'abandoned by the heavens' yet contradictingly possessing a stable flow of time and space consistent with the general world. According to the Heavenly War Spirit's knowledge base, an Absolute Void Region was a region lacking all qualities of energy, essence, and life-support, unable to support the Daos of the world.

This rendered standard cultivation impossible. Completely impossible.

After experiencing all that he had, especially the Magi's historical memories held within his bloodline of Creation, Order, and Security, he knew that this was a blank canvas that Creation had generated to produce…well, everything.

The fact that he had created this region was certainly not a coincidence back then. This was further supported by Ori's development. Ori had emulated King, becoming an Alpha Origin Astral Soul, becoming the 'Heavenly Daos' and remained, as the Law of Origin permeated the region.

At the time, he hadn't known why this felt so contradictory, but the Magi's lineage had answered every single question. Ori and Eden both had qualities of Magi, which both had ties to the construction of the perceivable universe. Ties to Creation. It was a wonder how, when the puzzle pieces were gathered, it all fit so seamlessly as if designed by the hands of fate.

Wei Wuyin wouldn't sense the Mortal Dao, Mystic Dao, or dao of eternity here in the slightest. Additionally, the Heavenly Daos presence was absent alongside them. But the heavens and the Heavenly Daos were not the same; the Heavenly War Spirit's words weren't correct, but its thinking was true—the heavens had abandoned this place. Specifically, the Heavenly Daos that he was familiar with.

But there was another force acting as the new Heavenly Dao here, akin to how Ori acted as the Heavenly Dao in the Absolute Void Region that he created.

Sensing this, he couldn't help but recall the theory that this was a Microheaven of a Resonant Soul Realm cultivator whose cultivation base went away upon death or failure to ascend. This was likely true.

In actuality, he sensed a strong familiarity here. A flicker of remembrance flowed through his eyes as his Second Mind clarified his thoughts, pointing at the familiarity: the Prohibition of Heaven's Resonance around the Sky Heart Galaxy.

As he stood firmly on the solid chaos mana, staring at the sky, Suo Kai-Ming, under the protection of her Dao Enforcer—the Maleficent-Chaos Sovereign, observed him silently as he existed without suffering in the Blank Dominion's inhospitable landscape. A wisp of bright envy flowed in her eyes, growing increasingly bright.

Before she could speak out the thoughts on her tongue, Dongfang Yue said: "World-Saint Neo-Dawn, the Blank Dominion was the former Microheaven of the Forbidding Seal Sovereign, the grandmaster of the Supreme Sage that established the Sky Heart Galaxy's Prohibition of the Heaven's Resonance. You may have sensed the familiarity."

Suo Kai-Ming frowned as her gaze, as well as the others, moved to focus on Dongfang Yue, the Elephant-Tigress Sovereign. She was calm and respectful, so unlike her usual self, taking them all simultaneously aback.

Wei Wuyin had already received the answer from his Second Mind, but this little action from Dongfang Yue was enough to reveal that she was paying excessively close attention to him. Acknowledging her, he nodded with a faint smile carrying a hint of teasing. When her slender cheeks gained a pinkish hue, the minds of everyone present were utterly shaken.

They felt whiplashed.

They couldn't help but turn to Zenith Refinement, whose facial expression was even more exaggerated than theirs. He was in complete disbelief. It wouldn't be an exaggeration that Dongfang Yue was creating spiritual images of Wei Wuyin and crushing it with a sadistic smile not a few days ago. Not it would be entirely accurate to say that was her attitude!

"What in the f…"

"Greetings, Zeniths!" A sound carried by spiritual waves and empowered by resonant qi resounded throughout the atmosphere-less realm. Given the environmental conditions, basic Spiritual Transmissions were very difficult to perform, so only by supplementing the transmission with an Ascension Art was it possible to achieve proper communication. Dongfang Yue had executed this art earlier, but doing so meant all those with Spiritual Sense could intercept the transmission with ease.

Moreover, trying to hide a transmission here was like trying to hide a streak of blood on a clean white canvas. Unless one was blind, even if they were color-blind, it was impossible to miss.

They all located the source, finding three figures slowly approaching while under the protection of the leading figure. They were the Incandescent Star Palace's Palace Lord, the Golden Night Sovereign, and the Goliath Bird Sovereign.

The first two Supreme Sages were well-known, representing the neutral superpowers of the Incandescent Star Palace and the Seers of the Night. The last arrival was a newcomer that Wei Wuyin had only heard of, the Sovereign Knight of the Arachnids in the Utmost Purity Galaxy, its protector. She was a tall, slender woman with light golden skin and thin micro hairs, adorned in a robe designed specifically to sleeve each of his six arms.

Despite her irregular appearance, especially her eight eyes resembling the ocelli of spiders. These eyes, however, had very humanoid pupils; her facial features were somewhat conventionally beautiful for female humans, while those eight eyes of hers granted her an oddly exotic set of beautiful features.

When she arrived, her eight eyes honed in on Wei Wuyin, and while her expression was cold and indifferent, Wei Wuyin could distinctly sense the mental fluctuation of seething rage and fury kept in restraint, including a trace of flashing fear as Wei Wuyin directed his star-filled eyes on her. She hurriedly suppressed signs of murderous intentions with ruthless efficiency, and if it were anyone else, they might be thinking it was purely their imagination.

Since Wei Wuyin had ruined the futures of countless Arachnids as a display of power and force for their blatant disrespect by investigating him and being caught, he understood why she would hate his guts. As for the fear? Given the fate of Long Shiya, she dared not openly attract his ire.

Wei Wuyin thought about the situation and couldn't help but feel a little relaxed. His attack against Long Shiya carried the strength of his accumulated saber force for decades from not unsheathing it once, including the unsurpassed might of three Major Laws and three Minor Laws backed by Little Defiant.

At the moment, his Laws were sealed, and his accumulated saber force was spent. He couldn't unleash an attack of such magnitude again, especially at his cultivation level, and if the fight was dynamic, not a stand-and-deliver type of exchange, he might never be able to hit the broadside of a Supreme Sage with the greatest opportunity he could try to orchestrate.

They were simply too fast. He wasn't even able to stop Long Shiya from escaping, settling for killing his physical body.

However, when he thought about the claimed physical body of a Supreme Sage at the Microheaven Phase in his Void Ring, he couldn't help but be immensely satisfied. If a Soldier of War inhabited it, they would be terrifying. He already had plans for Zhan Zheng.

These three would be the judges for the competition. While it wasn't entirely necessary, they fit the criteria. Regardless of which, they were all Grand-tier Worldly Saint Alchemists, not a wick inferior to Wei Wuyin, but their achievements were mostly attributed to their time and cultivation base rather than their innate talent.

Wei Wuyin still couldn't help but marvel that every decent cultivator that he'd met was an Alchemist, whether they were Guo Heng or Su Yi. The Utmost Purity Galaxy birthed Alchemists en masse. Even if their primary occupation and path was Seer or another Creationist such as Forger or Architect, they all had some degree of alchemical training.

It was a fantastic society, the holy land of alchemy beyond a shadow of a doubt in the Holy Void of Fortune and the galactic cluster that were the lesser and greater galaxies as a whole.

Wei Wuyin greeted the Palace Lord of the Incandescent Star Palace and the rest, not dismissing their existence or showing any disrespect, and this eased the Goliath Bird Sovereign's feelings a little, allowing her to relax. Meanwhile, the Golden Night Sovereign gave a greeting reply.

Before a perfunctory exchange of words and praise could begin, delaying matters further, Suo Kai-Ming spoke out: "Let's begin."

She wasn't impatient, but she didn't like the Golden Night Sovereign. And the feeling was mutual. The Maleficent-Chaos Sovereign stared intensely at the Golden Night Sovereign. The tension felt as if the Alchemic Clash was the only thing stopping the Maleficent-Chaos Sovereign from launching an attack.

The Blank Dominion was a great battlefield for Supreme Sages. Even if they went all out, it would be extremely difficult to shatter this realm given their inability to borrow strength from the world. More than a few Supreme Sages had held fierce battles here, deciding winners and losers, but none had ever died.

Still, injuring the other party and forcing them to recover for a hundred thousand years in disgrace was just as satisfying.

"Right!" The Palace Lord smiled as he landed before them. He clapped his hands and then slung his sleeves outwards. Forty-eight flags the size of small mountains jetted out into the air, and then they slammed into the ground, digging themselves into the crystallized chaos mana in an exquisite formation.

Each flag pulsed with a strong temporal energy, containing the Law of Time. They seemed to have been refined throughout a long period, producing an extraordinary array flag set of temporal Heavenly Treasures. While each flag couldn't be classified as a true Heavenly Treasure, together, they possessed the power of a quasi-Supreme Heavenly Treasure, on par with the Endless Void Mirror.

The eyes of the Supreme Sages all lit with distinct brilliance, executing Ocular Spiritual Spells at the Resonant Soul Realm level. Wei Wuyin observed with his Celestial Eyes, which were not the slightest bit inferior.

These flags were great treasures that could wield a significant authority over the Law of Time, and while it was only at the Minor Authority, it was at the very peak, rivaling his mutated Law of Time in terms of strength. It was befitting of a quasi-Supreme Heavenly Treasure Array.

This was the foundation for the extreme temporal zone. The average temporal zone could be likened to the effects of Wei Wuyin's ninth-grade Neo-Dawn Vortex-Zone Pellets, a 1 to 10 ratio. For every 1 second outside, 10 seconds occurred within the accelerated zone.

This was later improved on, but the pellet had first-grade variants that were 1 to 1.1, scaling as it grew in grade and quality, and Wei Wuyin had used a Mystic-Earth variant to experience years within a short period. This was also how the Ascendants trained, especially the Prime Ascendants. If not, they wouldn't be relevant for hundreds of years, even if Wei Wuyin concocted the greatest products for them. They needed time to refine them, after all.

The 1 to 10 ratio was the standard that Earthly Saint Alchemists wielding the Temporal-type Way of Mysticism could unleash with some difficulty, but for this clash, the ratio was 1 to 10,000.

A single day was equivalent to twenty-seven years; this was the base standard of an extreme temporal acceleration zone. Due to the excessive concoction requirements for alchemists of their level, causing their time to reach insane levels for mortals, this was designed to allow the competition to end fairly quickly relative to the outside world.

Fortunately, Wei Wuyin had forty-seven years until the next Calamity of Hell.

As for the clash, the time limit was a single temporal cycle. So whether they finished or not will be determined in twenty-seven years, or a single twenty-four hours in the normal flow of time.

ONE DAY!

Only a single day.

This was largely because existing within an extreme temporal accelerated zone was outrageously dangerous, and they could only maintain some semblance of safety if they kept it restricted to a single cycle of 10,000 days.

According to records, a rate of time like this would be severely punished by the River of Time, and even Supreme Sages wouldn't dare to violate such restrictions.

However, Wei Wuyin was already able to oust the idea that the River of Time explicitly forbade it, because he could still feel its presence here. If he had to guess, it was the Heavenly Daos specifically that disallowed it, and somehow the River of Time enforced such a taboo in mutual agreement. Likely a give and take agreement between them.

Of course, in the eyes of those who hadn't witnessed the Heavenly Daos or were intimately familiar with it and the River of Time, it was impossible to determine this truth easily.

After establishing the extreme temporal acceleration zone, the three neutral Supreme Sages established the Spiritual Network under Wei Wuyin's instructions, allowing those to observe the finer details of events. It was then settled in almost an instant.

The Dao Enforcers stepped back, no longer protecting their Heavenly Saint Alchemists. The Zeniths each deployed a myriad of methods to reduce the effect of temporal dissonance and discomfort, ranging from the execution of spiritual spells to the utilization of treasures. Not a single one of them was lacking. Meanwhile, Wei Wuyin just calmly existed as if he were standing in the comfort of his own home.

The All-Alchemic Clash between the Neo-Dawn Alchemic Saint and the Seven Zeniths of the Towers in the Utmost Purity Galaxy was ready.

The Palace Lord of the Incandescent Star Palace took the stage, announcing to the audience who were blessed enough to watch such a history-defining event: "I'll explain the rules of this All-Alchemic Clash…"
