Chapter 4093: What Else?

The twins’ group appeared in the middle of an enormous city a second later. All Great Void Shifters in that Starway were working perfectly fine. That means everyone on the other side of the Great Void Shifters knew that their Shifter could bring them directly to the Werdlem Imperial Palace.

With such knowledge, anywhere these Great Void Shifters existed was considered one of the most important places in their own regions. It is obvious that big cities would develop around them, the Werdlem name acting as the main factor for immigration.

The Formations Masters watching over the shifter were taken aback when they saw a Black Tunnel appearing out of nowhere. That wasn’t how Great Void Shifters should work, and they hadn’t activated their Shifter to start with.

But before they could do anything, the twins’ group came from within and charged out of the building. They quickly felt several Divine Senses at the Divinity Realm level, but that didn’t bother them. No one knew yet about what was happening anyway, and they gave those watching no time to inquire.

*Zush!*

In an instant, the twins’ group appeared at the City’s Gate. They didn’t try to fly out of it since there was a Protection Formation in the city. Some experts appeared to try to stop them, basically because they didn’t know what was happening. Yet how could they match the twins’ group?

Rean and the others beat down everyone who appeared, quickly leaving the city and opening a Spatial Gate. Finally, they entered it and disappeared from sight. A few seconds later, a Celestial Realm Expert in the Middle Stage arrived where the twins had just been. He was the City Lord and was ordered to stop the twins’ group. Too bad the call from the Werdlem Empire arrived too late for him. "Fuck!"

Many continents away from there, another Spatial Gate opened, and the twins’ group came out. The one who had opened the Spatial Gate was Hick himself, so he knew where he was going. Now that they were here, he changed to a humanoid form, quite different from the one the twins had gotten used to. "Phew... finally some time to rest. This place is safe for the time being. Let’s enter your Dimensional Realm first to talk."

They all agreed, and they disappeared from sight.

As soon as they appeared in the Celestial Soul Dimensional Realm, the twins heard the oh-so-beloved sound of their system.

Roan didn’t look very happy, thinking about the IDs they built after so long. "Rean, Sister Orb, make a new ID for us. Our previous ones are no longer of use. Sigh... even this amount of Celestial Points is not worth such a loss."

Havira was also there. "To think I would come to the Werdlem Universe anyway. My initial idea was to have Lufua help me get to BH1 by using the Zentian Empire. Yet, I’m now here, and it is not because of BH1."

Celis took the chance to speak. "We might as well take this chance and have Sister Orb get rid of Caladara’s power over our bodies."

Back then, Caladara added another layer of protection to address the twins’ outsider traits. They didn’t really need it since they already had Victor’s, but they didn’t remove it so they wouldn’t catch her attention. At least now they wouldn’t need to worry about Caladara revealing their identities anymore.

[Oh, right! Should I go ahead, Roan?]

"Yes," Roan nodded. "I don’t want someone obviously above the Celestial Realm on our tail all the time."

[Okay!]

Following that, Rean, Roan, Celis, and Kentucky saw some kind of golden energy leaving their bodies, almost imperceptible. Nonetheless, it was there, and it was eliminated.

[Done! I left Victor’s energy there still. Should I remove it?]

This time, Roan refused. "No. Victor knew from the start his decision was against the Werdlem Empire’s Will. I doubt he will try anything against us."

Rean had another idea, too. "About our identities, it will look way too suspicious if we do all that weak-to-strong act, not to mention it will, once again, take thousands of years. That said, we might as well just capture some Divinities, which should be plenty in the Werdlem Universe, and copy their IDs. It is only a temporary measure anyway."

"I would rather leave the Werdlem Universe altogether," Kentucky commented. "I just don’t feel safe in this place."

No one complained about that. One of the reasons they didn’t want to come to the Werdlem Universe was that they didn’t know if the Werdlem Empire had some way of detecting them while they were here. This is the center of all power, after all.

Hick took over. "If you are going for a new ID, it is meaningless to capture some Peak Divinities. You have me, remember? I will soon open a breach to the Celestial Plane for you so you can have your breakthroughs."

"Another reason to leave the Werdlem Universe," Kentucky added. "A Celestial Realm Breakthrough is bound to get a lot of attention, let alone four of them at once. Maybe five, if Havira is lucky enough."

Hick didn’t mind. "No problem. We just need to go back to the Werdlem Starway and look for the shifters connecting to the outside. It is easy." He was being sarcastic, though.

Everyone looked at Hick. "Go back there?!"

Hick nodded. "The only place with Great Void Shifters connected to other Universes is the Starway. That’s what I used the last time I was here. No other power in the Werdlem Universe has Great Void Shifters that can send you out, only Shifters connected to other places of this same Universe."

"Why didn’t you tell us?!" Kentucky complained.

"Because it was meaningless," Hick explained. "We simply didn’t have the luxury to go to the right Shifters after we got here. We were lucky Fila was able to give us this chance at all. Of course, there is always the old fashionable way."

"Which is?" They asked.

"Go to the border of the Universe and leave it normally. What else could it be?"
