Death… And Me

Chapter 4122: Just Do As I Say

Chapter 4122: Just Do As I Say

Thanks to Nyanta, the twins knew the location where he felt a presence similar to a Primordial Beast. Rifindio and Nyanta never went there to check, and Roan told them to not do that now either. It was better to try to meet that third Primordial Beast while having Hick, Xyrath, and Soltrex on board.

"Hum?" Still, that made Soltrex curious. "If you already know the location of this Primordial Demon Beast, why do you need me to check it?"

"You might at least be able to tell who it is, no?" Roan said. "That would be advantageous."

"Just that? Oh well, so be it." Soltrex didn't se a need for it, but helped anyway.

With Rean and Sister Orb there, it was easy to set up a connection between Soltrex and the Werdlem Metwork. When he started to check, his body became quite interesting. Rean could see countless micro runes with his Divine Sense running all around Soltrex's body, runes he couldn't make any sense of.

Of course, they didn't intervene and let Soltrex do his job... which was quite fast. In a matter of a minute, he disconnected from the Werdlem Network and spoke. "It's Nyxara."

-The Hollow Sovereign?!- Laiana asked. She kept an open connection with Rean's CD after they left Herbert's clan. She seemed pretty shocked, though.

"Shit!" Hick didn't look very happy. "So the Pillar of Void is the third one in this Universe. Why couldn't she be the very last between us all here in the Werdlem Empire..."

Soltrex couldn't help but ask. "How about we leave her alone for now? We can come back some other day, you know?"

Of course, the twins' group knew nothing about it. Why were they so unwilling to see Nyxara? However, before they could ask, the Celestial Soul System activated.

*Pin!*

[The Hollow Sovereign's situation is unusual. She is not held by any kind of physical or energy prison, but by a mental one. She is the one Primordial Beast that never got to be held anywhere other than the Werdlem Empire's Bubble itself.]

[Quest update: Help Nyxara with her mental issue.]

[Reward: 01 Celestial Point.]

"One... Celestial Point?" Rean's mouth twitched. "Isn't this a little bit too little?"

Roan narrowed his eyes. If the difficulty of the tasks was reflected in the number of Celestial Points rewarded, does that mean Nyxara is an easy task? "It is weird indeed. In any case, I hope it means it is easy this time around."

Then, they told the rest about the Quest Update, which made everyone as confused as the twins. But in the Primordial Beasts' case, they were confused as to why someone like Nyxara would have such a low value.

"Shall we go after her, then?" Rean asked.

And Roan confirmed, ignoring the fear in the other primordial beasts' eyes. "Yes. You and Kentucky make your way there. Soltrex, have you also figured out the location? Nyanta gave us the coordinates, but it would be good if you could confirm them too."

Soltrex didn't mind, sending the coordinates to Rean's CD. "So you won't leave her for last, uh? Sigh... Just keep in mind that my information is based on analysis, not direct contact. Those coordinates are the approximate area where you could possibly find Nyxara. Just pair it with the information you got from Nyanta and see if both of them are at least close to each other."

"Sister Orb," Rean turned in her direction.

Sister Orb quickly checked both pieces of information and confirmed. [Yes, both areas are near each other, almost overlapping.]

"Good!" Rean didn't waste time, disappearing from the Dimensional Realm.

"I'm also going," Kentucky quickly followed.

[What does Nyxara look like?] Sister Orb took the opportunity to ask. After all, their fear had to have a reason.

"What I can say is that she is definitely the most imposing among us all Primordial Demon Beasts..." Hick commented, his memory going back to the past. Whatever memories he had, they didn't seem very happy ones.

"Imposing is an understatement," Soltrex added. "She's terrifying..."

"Just try not to point it out when you see her," and Xyrath completed.

-That's not how you should talk about her. It's rude!- Laiana complained through the Werdlem network.

Xyrath, Hick, and Soltrex looked at the communication device. "You are just scared that she might end up venting on you, too."

-That's...! ...alright, maybe.-

They were curious before, and now even more so. Could Nyxara really be that bad? Perhaps that's why the system said that her imprisonment was a mental one.

Soon, Rean noticed that he had returned to the Divine Snow Realm, the extreme south side of the Divine Realm that was separated from the rest. In that place, there were pretty much no Werdlem Network communication devices. Not that they didn't work, but that they were something almost no one there knew about. Instead, that Divine Snow Realm had its own network.

Rean wondered for a moment if he should have paid a visit to the robots as he crossed the border, but decided to not do so. Maybe going there would end up causing trouble for them in the future.

Several Spatial Gates and hours later, Rean and Kentucky seemed to recognize where they were heading.

"Wait, isn't that..." Kentucky commented.

And Rean agreed. "It is, isn't it?"

The coordinates were correct, and they found themselves facing the Glacial Overflow Corridor in Fencawo Continent. The twins' group would never forget this place. They passed through it using the Warm Boats, but ultimately got trapped.

In the end, they were forced to fight a bunch of seal-like beasts. The weird thing was that those seals were capable of completely blocking their connection to the Celestial Soul Dimensional Realm.

This kind of ability wasn't anything new. The twins experienced other situations where their access to the Celestial Soul Dimensional Realm was blocked. However, those situations were all due to formations made for that specific use. In the case of the seal-like demon beasts, there was no formation or anything like that. They somehow created a seal that looked like a seal, the animal, at the Spatial Entrances that the twins used.

In the end, the twins almost managed to kill the seals. But then, their boss or whatever appeared. The twins were only Space-Bending Realm Experts back then, and they were killed in an instant by the gigantic seal. If not because of the Blood Reformation Skill of the system, their lives would truly have ended there. Well, they did get killed, but they revived.

Rean's mind went inside the Celestial Soul Dimensional Realm after remembering all of that. "So, where is she exactly? Is there a way we can force her out if she is here?"

The Primordial Demon Beasts went silent for a moment before Hick spoke. "Well, there is a way..."

"Stop!" Xyrath used his tail to cover Hick's mouth now that Hick was in his humanoid form. "Don't you know the consequences? It will take a decade for me to recover my powers, so don't drag me down with you!"

Soltrex nodded vigorously. "Xyrath is right. It is not worth it. Just try to find where she is hiding. It is definitely somewhere in this corridor."

"Somewhere?" Rean and Kentucky didn't look very happy. "You do know that the Glacial Overflow Corridor expands over hundreds of continents, right?"

"Enough!" Hick pushed Xyrath's tail away. "We can't waste time here forever. First of all, she won't even bother coming out if we don't do that. What do you want, to stay here for the next hundred thousand years? How do you expect us to find her with her innate ability?"

Xyrath and Soltrex went quiet. Even Soltrex didn't have an answer for that.

Finally, Hick spoke. "Alright, just do as I say."
