Chapter 4193: F974 Got Busy

Kentucky finally arrived back in A1 three months later. From there, he went straight to the Abyssal Path, located where one of the few broken Great Void Shifters of that Universe could be found. The place was empty now, having not seen anyone for a long time.

After the twins made it obvious they could enter the Werdlem Empire without using the Abyssal Paths in the Starway, having experts watching the many Great Void Shifters’ locations became meaningless. Little did the Werdlem Empire know that it would have been good to keep watching the paths. The twins lost the Celestial Soul System, after all.

A Spatial Gate appeared in the Dongfe Region, near a quite beautiful valley. If one looked closely, one would see a few remaining ruins of a long-lost city. The city wasn’t destroyed or anything like that. It simply lost its purpose and was eventually abandoned. The sole reason for this city’s existence was the Great Void Shifter, which was discontinued back then.

Nonetheless, the Abyssal Path that the shifter used was still there, the only remaining Abyssal Path in A1 still intact after Norogal used the Abyssal Key.

"It should be around here somewhere," Rean said, checking his CD.

Without the Celestial Soul System, there were no warnings about nearby Abyssal Paths anymore. So, he could only base his search on the information he had in his CD, or...

*Zush!*

Connecting his mind to the Celestial Soul Dimensional Realm, Rean immediately teleported Naragal out of there. The Big Female Abyssal Beast was still as shy as you can imagine, quickly landing on the ground and covering her eyes like a scared dog.

"Sigh..." Rean patted her head. "Come on, girl. There is no one here other than us. Look, it is quite a nice place instead."

Naragal opened her eyes, and sure enough, that was a nice valley. "S-So it seems."

Then, her eyes turned in another direction, and she pointed over with her paw. "There is an Abyssal Path in that direction, S-Senior Rean, Senior Kentucky."

Rean and Kentucky nodded. "Very good. Come with us. That Path should bring us to D41, and from there we can go to F974."

They soon found the now almost gone Great Void Shifter and asked Naragal to do their job.

"Al-Alright!" Naragal concentrated, and soon, the Black Tunnel appeared in front of Rean and Kentucky. "Pl-Please, stay close to me. I will cov-cover you with my power so the path won’t harm you." Finally, they entered the Abyssal Path and disappeared from A1.

Travel through Abyssal Paths was obviously much faster. After just a few hours, Rean and Kentucky had already landed in D41. Rean showed the location of the next Abyssal Path for Kentucky, and he opened a Spatial Gate for them.

There were no issues as they travelled through D41. They had Hick use his Boundaries in their cultivations to make sure they wouldn’t be expelled from the Lower Ranked Universes before leaving Default’s group. However, halfway through...

"Hum?" Rean took out his CD, opened it and answered a call. "It’s Kentucky’s Dad..."

"My Father?" Kentucky looked back at Rean. "What does he want?"

Rean shared the call with Kentucky, and both talked. "Hi, Senior Ploto-Ume. Is something wrong?"

"Something wrong?! Everything is wrong! The Werdlem Empire’s experts have just arrived in F974 and demanded that our Universe Owner come greet them," Ploto spoke with a nervous expression. "What do we do?"

Rean and Kentucky narrowed their eyes. "Did they find the Primordial Demon Beasts?"

"No," Ploto shook his head. "We moved their bodies to the hidden area where the channel will be opened to Lisan. The Primordial Beasts seem to still be in that trance, not answering to anything we say or do."

Rean didn’t waste time. "Senior, the rest of us will be arriving shortly. Without a doubt, the Werdlem Empire already knows the Primordial Demon Beasts are there. Is the Universe Owner you selected strong? If so, have him defend the Primordial Demon Beasts. We are almost at the Abyssal Path connecting to F974."

"This is not good. There were three guys who seemed especially scary. All the others seem to be able to use Celestial Laws as well. Since they are here, they likely know how to find the Primordial Beasts. Our Universe Owner has the support of this Universe, but I doubt he can fight all of those guys at once."

Rean immediately sent Ploto a picture of Soza, the Werdlem Emperor. "Is this one of them?"

"Yes!" Ploto confirmed straight away. "Who is he?"

"The Werdlem Empire’s Emperor, a cultivator above the Celestial Realm," Rean didn’t hide. "The other two you mentioned are just as strong, too."

"Shit!" Ploto was scared out of his mind. "There is no way we can hold those guys if they find this place! How are those Celestial Realm Experts inside F974 anyway? Do they have someone like Hick to use boundaries?"

"No," Rean shook his head in response. "They must be using the Celestial Suppressor Plates. We met some guys before who did the same. Anyway, try to stay hidden. We are on our way."

Rean finished the call, and Kentucky nodded, quickly increasing his speed through the Spatial Gates. "Can we avoid them and open the channel to Lisan? As long as we bring the Primordial beasts out, it is our victory," Kentucky asked.

"I don’t know," Rean wished he had an answer to that. "But we need to get there first."

Kentucky narrowed his eyes. "What if we meet each other? I doubt we can avoid a battle, and we can’t open the channel to Lisan anywhere else."

Rean didn’t say anything, but the answer was obvious. Then, he sent his mind into the Celestial Soul Dimensional Realm.

Rean and Kentucky appeared at the next Abyssal Path’s location and quickly brought Naragal out. "Last one, Naragal. Bring us to F974."

"Okay, senior." She once again opened the black tunnel, and they all went inside.

On the way, Kentucky couldn’t help but ask. "How did they get to F974 that fast? They couldn’t use the Abyssal Paths anymore."

Rean narrowed his eyes. "We are talking about Soza, someone above the Celestial Realm. We don’t even know what his cultivation realm is called. However, perhaps he can travel very fast through the Great Void because of it. Anyway, focus on the task ahead. I already prepared everything on my side."
