Chapter 4272: If You Can Absorb...

That strategy of picking off the stragglers wouldn’t work forever. Eventually, there would be so few Godly Spawns that the Godly Pressure effect would reduce, and the Godly Creatures would get closer together again.

That wasn’t a problem, though. The twins’ group was basically killing Godly Spawns that offered them no risks whatsoever. Once they couldn’t do it anymore, the numbers in this group would have fallen considerably.

In total, this group had 47 Godly Spawns and, as mentioned, 09 Godly Beasts. By the time the Godly Pressure reduced enough for the creatures to get closer to each other, only 17 Godly Spawns remained.

The twins’ group gathered again, looking at the Godly Creatures in the distance. They seemed to be tense. Even though they couldn’t exactly understand what was happening, their instincts told them something was wrong after seeing so many bodies from the others.

"What now?" Kentucky asked.

"They will not separate anymore now that we’ve got rid of that many, so we need to create a situation where they do," Roan explained.

Rean narrowed his eyes. "But there are nine Godly Beasts. It will be hard with only the four of us. Are we going to use the Sanctuary?"

Roan shook his head in response, though. "No. We will only use that against the last two groups since they have even more Godly Beasts. For this group, we are going to try to take them down with what we have at the moment. It’s time to use that..."

Rean, Celis, and Kentucky went silent for a moment. "Aren’t the guides watching us? Are you sure you want to use it in front of them?"

Roan wasn’t concerned. "It is fine. We are faster than the guides, and so are the Godly Beasts. The Godly Spawns will be the perfect smokescreen. We will show ourselves and lure the entire group away, making it look like we are actually fleeing. Once we get far enough, we will make our move."

With that, the twins’ group acted together.

If you consider the Godly Creatures’ group as the center, the guides were watching from the west side. So far, they watched from a safe distance as the twins’ group took down the Godly Spawns one by one.

However, they noticed the twins’ group disappeared after that, and were worried that something might have happened.

"No, look!" Semerio suddenly pointed out.

The other two focused their energies in their eyes, and finally saw where the twins’ group was. They were literally on the opposite side of the Godly Creatures’ group, on the east.

*Roar!*

Yet, they weren’t the only ones who noticed. The Godly Spawns and Beasts saw the same thing, all four members of the twins’ group. Without thinking twice, they moved together, targeting Rean and the others.

*Zush, zush, zush!*

Kentucky shot several of his Feather Blades. He knew he wouldn’t cause any serious injury, but that would anger th Godly Creatures even more.

*Roarrr!*

Obviously, the twins’ group turned around and began to run away. The Godly Beasts quickly got to the front of their group, and the Spawns fell behind. The further away they ran, the further the Godly Spawns got.

At some point, Juanita, Semerio, and Roland were forced to slow down with the Godly Spawns. That’s because the Godly Spawns were spread quite wide between them and the Godly Beasts. If they forced the issue and moved faster, the Godly Spawns would definitely notice them and change targets. They aren’t the twins’ group. They can’t fight that mob on their own at all.

And so, the Godly Beasts eventually left their field of view, even though they could still see the Godly Spawns. The Godly Creatures could feel each other, so the Spawns continued the pursuit, going after the Godly Beasts. It’s just that they became a barrier for Juanita and the others without knowing.

Several tens of kilometers later, in the midst of the forest, the twins’ group looked behind and nodded in satisfaction. The Godly Beasts were really good, and they managed to leave the guides behind as well. The guides would eventually get here by following the tracks and the Godly Spawns, but that would take a few minutes.

"Full speed ahead, Kentucky," Rean said, and they jumped on Kentucky’s back. Kentucky quickly took flight, and a moment later, they left the enraged Godly Beasts behind as well.

The Godly Beasts looked around, having difficulty deciding what to do.

A minute or so later, a few of the Godly Spawns eventually caught up to them...

Out of nowhere, the Godly Spawns that had just caught up to them attacked the Godly Beasts! No, that was wrong. Those weren’t Godly Creatures whatsoever. They were the twins’ group, which returned as soon as they left the Godly Beasts’ sight!

Yet, how did they get that close to the Godly Creatures? How did the Beasts mistake the twins’ group for Godly Spawns in the first place? Rean’s Body Transformation Technique was good to change one’s appearance and even one’s Aura. However, Godly Creatures could feel each other’s presence! Rean’s Body Transformation Technique would never work for that... at least not alone.

The explanation was not Rean’s Body Transformation Technique. It was used, and they looked like small Godly Spawns themselves. However, what really tricked the Godly Beasts was, in fact, the Godly Echo Yin Yang Absorption Cultivation Technique! What a name... Anyway, yes! It was the cultivation technique!

It could absorb Godly Pressure, just like the Godly Beasts could. Since that was the case... why couldn’t it emit Godly Pressure just like the Godly Creatures?

That was something Roan had thought quite a while ago, but just now he thought it was an opportunity good enough to put it to the test.

In an instant, four Godly Beasts, who had their guards completely down, fell dead to the ground.

Seeing that, Roan was quite satisfied. ’As I thought...’

When Godly Pressure is absorbed, it changes based on who absorbed it. It is pretty much the same with cultivation energies. Once you absorb any cultivation energy, it can’t be transferred to others. It becomes compatible with yourself and only yourself. It is useless for anyone else’s cultivation.

And with the addition of Rean’s Body Transformation, they truly looked like nothing else but Godly Creatures!

So, when the twins’ group approached, while using similar appearances to the Godly Spawns, just small, the Godly Beasts didn’t see any issues. They were still trying to see where the twins’ group had gone. Their simple minds simply thought that some of the Godly Spawns had arrived. That was the fatal mistake!

Now, four Godly Beasts died, and only five were left alive. The Godly Spawns were already in sight, but the guides weren’t, and the twins’ group wouldn’t lose that chance. The moment they killed the four, they pounced at the last five, with Celis as the one responsible for holding two of them down.

"Look, there they are!" Juanita said in a low voice, pointing into the distance. Then, they were taken aback. Around the twins’ group, although it was far away, they still could barely see the Godly Beasts. It’s just that they were only bodies. At that moment, the twins’ group was simply finishing the Godly Spawns. The Godly Beasts were already dead!
