Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse

Chapter 4524: Predator! II

Chapter 4524: Predator! II

Before Noah could even formulate a response to the dire situation unfolding around him, he felt a surge of obsidian-crimson authority wrapping around his existence with protective intensity.

Tor’s voice echoed in his mind with rapid urgency.

"The most I can give you without the power of THE being immediately sensed on you is a singular THE Barrier of Hunger," he explained with clinical precision. "It can collectively withstand a single killing strike of any entity at THE Surface Depth of Absolute Sovereignty, no matter how concentrated or devastating that strike may be."

His voice carried grim determination.

"I will also extinguish those shitty elemental flames wrapped around you. That curse is another flare shining with the power of a THE entity that can be used to track and find you across vast distances. With it gone, you can focus on your survival without being a beacon for every predator in the Infinite Unfurling."

The authority around Noah intensified.

"I will send you far away from here so that the incoming reinforcements cannot perceive your departure or track your destination. It will be up to your own power and luck if you can survive until I can find you again."

His voice dropped with finality.

"Hide, hunt, do what you must to survive. For me to collapse all the coming THE entities and properly devour them without interruption, it could take hours or days depending on how many respond to her call and how deeply they commit to the battle."

A moment after he said this, Noah felt the constant burning pain that had been suppressed within his existence pulse violently and then flicker away entirely!

A terrifying burst of Hunger raged all around him, devouring the crimson-gold flames that had marked him since his confrontation with THE Living Elemental!

Prompts bloomed before his vision with glorious detail.

THE Immolation Of The Sacrilegious Savage has been devoured by an Unfathomable THE Civilizational Authority of Hunger.

You are now completely free from its effects and tracking capabilities.

THE Barrier of Hunger has been laid upon your existence.

Classification: Absolute Defense Shield

Source: THE First Hunger

Protection Level: Can withstand one complete killing strike from any entity at THE Surface Depth of Absolute Sovereignty

Coverage: Encompasses entire existence including physical form, soul, consciousness, and all derivative aspects

Activation: Automatic upon detection of lethal threat

Duration: Permanent until triggered, and until depleted

Additional Properties: Undetectable by entities below THE scale. Will not register as foreign authority to most scanning methods.

Warning: Once triggered and exhausted, protection is completely gone. Use wisely.

Noah felt a glorious change ripple through his entire existence as the transformation completed.

Shockingly, the curse placed upon him by THE Living Elemental that should have killed him outright, but instead had inadvertently paved the way for him to forge something unprecedented within Observable Existence, disappeared completely at this moment.

In its place was a barrier that could withstand the full killing strike of an entity that had already stepped into THE Depths of the Civilizational Scale of Existence.

It was an unfathomably grand progression of cause and effect when he truly thought about it. Him encroaching upon the Primordial Civilization of Elemental had been the first domino that fell, which led inevitably to the rage of THE Living Elemental branding him with that curse.

And that curse had led to everything else that followed.

It had led him to develop THE Organ of Civilization as the only viable counter. It had led to his Temporal Traversal to the Infinite Unfurling where opportunities beyond measure existed. It had led to meeting Tor and receiving teachings about THE that would have been impossible to obtain otherwise.

And now it led to him being in an unfathomably dangerous position, hunted by multiple THE entities in a time period where he should not even exist.

The chain of causality was almost absurd in its complexity.

"I am sending you to a relatively safer region of the Infinite Unfurling filled with weaker entities, but not too weak," Tor’s voice explained rapidly. "They will likely search for you in places with extremely weak prey, so I am avoiding those obvious locations."

The authority around Noah began to compress with spatial manipulation.

"Stay hidden and wait for my return. I will find you again once this situation is resolved, no matter how long it takes or how far you travel."

Space began to twist and fold around him.

"And Outsider," Tor’s voice carried genuine concern for the first time since they had met. "Remember that you are still weak by the standards of this place. Do not let your recent victories against weak entities make you forget that fundamental truth."

His words carried weight.

"Survival takes priority over everything else. Get a bit stronger when you can do so safely, but do not take unnecessary risks. Live first, grow second."

The spatial compression reached critical intensity.

"Good luck."

Obsidian-crimson brilliance erupted all around as Noah could only gaze at the continuing impacts from beings he still could not even perceive fighting!

Reality tore and reformed in patterns that hurt to observe. The boundary between Hunger’s domain and Time’s authority fluctuated wildly as the two Sovereignties clashed at scales beyond his comprehension.

And then Noah was forcefully ejected from the battlefield as Tor’s Hunger launched him across vast distances of the Infinite Unfurling toward an unknown destination!

As he traveled through compressed space at impossible speeds, Noah caught one final glimpse of the battle behind him through the distorting spatial layers.

The entire region where they had been standing was being systematically destroyed. Rifts in reality spread like spiderwebs across existence, each one large enough to swallow solar systems. The snow had been completely replaced by storms of collapsed hunger and time fighting for dominance over the ruined landscape.

And in that final moment before distance made observation impossible, the eyes of The Living Origin locked onto him with intense focus!

Her white-gold gaze burned through the spatial distortions as if they were not even there, tracking his departure with analytical precision.

As such recognition occurred, he managed to hear the roar of THE Time Surfer as this being bellowed out commandingly to the entities that she had brought with her!

"Follow any traces of where that thing is being sent!" she shouted with fury and desperation mixing in her voice. "Track it and find it for me! If you succeed in bringing me that anomaly, I promise on My Way of Time itself to help you achieve THE Surface Depth of Absolute Sovereignty!"

Her voice became deadly.

"Should any of you attempt to run or hide, I will hunt through your past and your futures to ensure that you collapse completely across all timelines! Bring me that thing! Bring me that temporal anomaly!"

BOOM!

The words were heavy and terrifying as they echoed across dimensions.

Multiple Pre-THE Existences burst with their full Sovereignties being unleashed, each one burning with authority as they attempted to track Noah’s departure trajectory through the spatial compression!

The Living Origin moved with particular purpose, her Way of Origin allowing her to trace beginnings and endings with frightening accuracy.

But Tor’s spatial ejection had been executed by a THE entity of terrifying power, and tracking such a departure was nearly impossible for Pre-THE beings!
